I've got a new roleplay. For anyone who's interested.

[size=200]Juve. The prison for any rebellious teenager. What's worst than that? Being 17 going on 18 and in juvenile prison. Nothing's worse than being trialed as an adult. No one wants to go from the closest thing they know as a playground to the real world, but that's life. Most in this situation try to fight it, try to get out of it, and eventually break and take their punishment. In my mind, that's not an option. I will fight it, will get out, and refuses to go down with the rest of them. I've been under lock and hold for two, almost three years now, and you'd think that's long enough for a fifteen year old, right? Well here's my problem - I'm sentenced to 15 to life; and I'm not seeing my life like that. Not ever.
There's newbies coming in all the time, most thinking they're so cool, they're what it's all about, but eventually get owned by the alpha of the block. In my block, there's a a few newbies that's in somewhat of the same situation.We all want out - before it's too late. What's the catch you ask? Ha. No catch. Just listen to me, don't piss me off, and maybe we can help each other get outta this hell hole. So, whatta' say? You gonna help me break, or I'm I leaving you here to rot?

I'm thinking of making a Dystopian future RP and would like to see if anybody's interested. Basically, in the RP, Wildlife is on the brink of extinction. Nature had been restored years ago, but recently a new government official came to power and is looking to destroy nature and replace it with man-made things. Worse, the government approves this idea. Machines are being made ready for plots of forest land about to be plowed. Poisons are being formulated to get rid of wild animals.The characters oppose this, and are trying to save Nature before it's too late. Would anybody be interested?

I've made this RP, it's currently brand-new and shiny, the only post being one of my own. There are 9 spaces left.

Alright, time for my first ever post on here! I hope I don't make a fool of myself, haha.

Anyway, I've had this idea for a literate+ role-play for a while now. It's not something I've seen on these forums [yet], so I want to make it into a limited group RP. [Of about 5-6 people?] However, I also want to collaborate on it with someone [or more people], since I'm having a severe creativity block that stops me from working out all of the kinks and stuff. Also, collaborating is just plain fun.

The RP will mostly be fantasy, with a mix of regular life. There are two worlds, which the characters will jump between repeatedly through the course of the RP. The regular part will be the characters' normal, human lives, and the fantasy part comes into play during one of their so-called fits [I still haven't worked this out completely], where they jump to another life that they live, in the fantasy world. They don't remember anything from between lives [if they are in the human world, they remember nothing of the fantasy world, and vice versa], but their actions in the fantasy world often translate to their normal lives. So, one of the characters might have faint recollection of a meeting with another character in the fantasy world even if they don't know them that well in the human world, if the meeting left a big impact. Or sometimes an item given to somebody in the fantasy world might transfer over to the normal world, such as a plant or a handkerchief, or anything, really.

Aaaand, that's about all that I've got. [A bit wordy, huh?] Well, that's the abridged version of my notes, that is.

So, is anyone interested in helping me flesh out this idea? :] We'll probably be doing a lot of world-building before the RP actually gets on its legs [by having its own thread and all].

This seems interesting enough. Are you dead set on people literally popping into a new world? I could see this plot becoming something like this:

When the "fits" occur the people retreat into their own minds, tapping into true human creativity and imagination. While these fits happen the person has experiences directly related to their own desires [whether they consciously acknowledge them or not], be it meeting someone, have a spot of adventure, or shoot lightning bolts out of their eyes, I don't know. Anyways, as they wake up it's kind of like a dream--you forget it after a while. However, what if these people are actually tampering with their "waking" reality, their dreams and fits sometimes bleeding into the "real" world. It would be subtle at first. Some stranger says hi to you. You feel a bit weary that morning as if you'd been running all night ... But slowly there are strange occurrences all over the place. Strange creatures, mysterious deaths, disappearances under suspicious circumstances...Quickly you realize that your dreams may be a lot more ... potent. The worlds of your mind and your body are beginning to mix together. The problem is that you have no idea how to stop it--without killing your brain function, which you'd seriously not prefer. But for all innocent conceptions and feelings in the mind, you mustn't forget the bleak ones. But how can you fight an idea?

I totally expanded on that and probably went in a direction you didn't want. But it got me thinking.

This looks very interesting, and I can see one of my characters fitting in very well with the plot. I'd love to join if you make it. ^^
As for ideas, perhaps some sort of overall goal is there for the characters, in both worlds? It keeps characters from standing around unsure what to do. And perhaps the goals could contradict, making it so more progress in one world means backwards progress in the other? I don't know, this is random ideas that happen when I get up this early. ^^"

Like a little duckling following its mother. Astrid smirked at the thought of Julian being a mother, a laugh almost escaped her lips; but she kept it to herself. Astrid didn't need curious eyes turned to her, wondering what crazy things where coming to her mind now. Though, she did keep that sly smirk on her face, as she followed her beloved friends. What would she do without them? They were like family, and no one could replace family. Astrid's eyes fell on Isabella as she talked about Julian putting poison in their food. She let out a quiet laugh, and shook her head. A few strands of blonde hair fell out of her braid, she noticed it instantly and tucked it behind her ear; while she watched Nate turn to the bathroom. She supposed he was going to take a shower before they ate. So she just shrugged and kept walking.

When they got to the kitchen, she saw Shay. She put a friendly smile on her face. "Hey Shay! " She greeted her friend, like everyone else. They all asked her a different question. So it was her turn when Shay fell silent. " How did you sleep? " She asked as she plopped herself onto the counter. She looked over at her other friend, who just joined them. Astrid waved at Jahmar. She listened to his question and shook her head. " Nope, sorry. They must be here somewhere. " She replied, while looking both her shoulders as if they might be running around behind her. But there was nothing there.

Astrid looked over at Julian who asked a question also. Something about if any of them were doing something today. Astrid bit her lip. Thinking for a moment before answering. "I'm not sure. I might go to the beach or something. I really want to go swimming. Or take some pictures maybe.She shrugged. Astrid loved the beach. The salty waves, and sand getting suck between your toes. The smell of sun block, she loved it all. It was a great place to practice photography too, since she loves that also. The beach was like her second home. Isabella said the same thing, she smiled. Good, now someone would go with her. Today she was in the mood for company. Sometimes she liked to be by herself, and others she liked to have someone to tag along with. All depending on her mood.

I would totally join this, and, as stated beforehand, I have a character that would fit in perfectly {he has OCD, mild paranoic schizophrenia and that would help explain his 'fits' in the beggining}. Could I save a spot, but provide my own form and edit in? I have problems with editing colourfull forms and fonts since I use my phone as my computer broke down .___.
