Every now and then Evelyn would sing a few words from the song. She half-smiled and opened her eyes, then looked up at him. " 'Cuz I just always wanna have you right here by my side.." She mumbled softly, the song lyric fit perfectly in the moment. She heard a large explosion from the movie and nearly jumped out of Josh's arms. "Ooh cr*p." She hushed below her voice.

Jesse looked at her, his brilliant ocean blue-green eyes stared into hers. He wanted to ignore her question, though he knew he wouldn't give up asking. His eyes shifted down to the ground, he ran his hand through his jet-black hair. "Well.. we're kinda engaged.." He avoided her eyes as he spoke. "I'm, umm.. Well, there's no easy way to explain this, but.. I'm not really human.." He mumbled terrified of her reaction. He figured he'd explain to her everything else, so that she could sink everything in.

Josh chuckled a bit and rubbed her arm. "You ok...?" He asked softly. He wished the movie hadn't made a noise at that moment, enjoying her singing. "You can sing really well by the way...' He whispered softly into her ear.

Evelyn smiled, nodding a bit. She turned towards the movie, her back was now to him. She slipped an arm under her head, again she used it as a pillow. "I like this part.." She said quietly, trying to listen to the low volume.

Josh smiled softly and grabbed the remote, putting the volume up. She wrapped his arm around her side, pulling her closer to him. He watched the movie quietly, glad she was happy.

He limped a little because of a bite he took to his leg. Blood smeared his clothing and skin. He moved inside the house with panting breaths. He still looked slightly wild as he walked towards the skin and started to splash water on his face without so much as a word.

"Whatcha do to tick them off?" She huffed. She finally let the blanket fall from her shoulders and she sat on the edge of the bed. It was... Quite a bit to take in. "What now?" She croaked in a worn voice, like someone who hadn't spoken in a while. "I just act like nothing happen and become a housewife?" She brushed her case of bedhead away from her face, the oak waves falling limply from her head.

Evelyn brushed her bangs away from her soft, emerald-green eyes. Her eyes flickered towards anything that moved on the small screen. She half-smiled and watched the movie, half expecting what was to happen for she had already seen it before. She grabbed one of the cushions and hugged it to her chest, covering her face except for her eyes.

Josh smiled and looked down at her, watching her insted of the movie. He loved the way she watched the movie. He also loved the color of her eyes. He had so much running threw his mind that he closed his eyes for a moment and ended up dozeing off, his arm still around Evelyn.

Isabelle came over to Eli and hugged him, noticing his cuts and other injuries. "I'm sorry," she said, feeling bad for getting him into the fight, if she had just come with him, nothing would have happened. "I thought you were gone."

Evelyn slid the pillow over her eyes, not wanting to see the fight that occurred in the movie. She shut her eyes, thought after a moment she peeked out from the little safety of the pillow. She hadn't heard Josh talk; she only felt his leveled breathing. She slightly moved her head and glanced at him, seeing that he had fallen asleep. She smiled and gently kissed his cheek, then gingerly brushed the back of her hand against his cheek. "Sweet dreams, love.." She mumbled.

Josh smiled a bit in his sleep, tightening his grip just a bit, holding Evelyn to his chest. He moved his head slightly, resting in on the arm of the couch. He dreamed of Evelyn and his life together in the future.
