"Hm? I have a few, but normally I can't keep them. I tell my friends, and they keep them for me." Az giggled again and smiled. "Have you ever wanted a mate, Jewl?"

"yeah why?" Jewl asked tilting her head

"Because I was," Az said. "I haven't run across any brute who would tolerate me since Luka!"

Whisper lays down. She smiles at Sawyer, "So, the old brute pasted away?" She asked.


Sawyer nodded her head, "Yeah, he was kinda sick anyway." She said, now finally getting over her uncle's death.

Sky looked at Chinivad briefly before looking forward agian, her light colored sister still bounding along ahead. "Yes, they are like very fat elk, only shorter, with smaller horns. The ones near my pack were mostly black, but I've seen black and white ones. Even brown ones before." Sky wished she could remember what they were called. "Humans fenced them in. Clever way of keeping your prey, but I don't know how they got them in there."
