This is a bit late but I just checked this thread again and I wanted to say that this is pretty cool ^^
Reminds me of the story I've bee getting ready to write called "The Beauty of the Beast" that involves the beauty, the beast, and the "Geston" all being male and the beast being a were-wolf xD <3 You inspire me to continue that idea ^^
why do i and everyone
i love, chose people
who treat us like
we're nothing
because we
accept the love
we think we
deserve.

Ben was the boy who refused reality. Reality to him, well, it really was depressing. His mum died, along with his brother, all the kids made fun of him and no one really understood his difference in the world. His therapist didn't help at all, too. Once he found out about his imgainary world. He lived in his own paracosm, fantasy world. His world was beautiful, ranging for lush forests with mystical creatures and sunny seashores with green waves lapping at silver sand. Some darker but still happy forests contained childish monsters that he had to defeat.Iris, his best friend, was always there for him when he was defeating monsters, enjoying the sunny silver beaches or exploring the forests. Iris had wavy light blue hair with butterfly wings, yet, she never used the wings for flight.Ben's therapist grew worried, along with his father. They couldn't get him to snap into reality and grow up. They tried everything. Well, so they thought. Ben's commented on how drawings had a huge influence on him, also the paintings his mother used to make helped create his fantasy. So, one day, Ben was called to his room, where his therapist said he had a suprise for him. Ben looked excited and commented how Iris would love to see the suprise. The blanket came off the canvases, revailing terrible paintings. They were depressing and horrific, depressed children screaming in their on fantasy world or their world has gone dark and bloody. Ben wanted to scream but he just ran, he ran out of his room and flopped in his bed.He entered his world to see that everything once so colorful and beautiful has been replaced with dark forests, depressing land and vast lonely plain stretching out to nowhere. Iris came by his side, the only thing that didn't loose the beauty or happiness of the world. Ben told her everything and how he was never going to come back, and so, he left.As Ben left her world, Iris entered his.
The end.
I dunno, I don't like this drabble very much but I hope someone enjoys it c:
