Here's another entry (NOTE: if I say hoatcanger instead of coathanger, blame my sister)
After spending half an hour exploring the room- from the swan carvings on the wardrobe door to the beautiful swan-shaped bathtub and taps- I decided to get ready for dinner. I had no doubt I'd be sitting with the royal family, and nerves clawed at my belly.
I went over to the wardrobe to pick out a dress then stopped, unsure of myself. I knew i couldn't go to dinner in my old, worn and tatty school uniform I was wearing, but what WOULD I wear. All the dresses looked far to grand for me.
Then I noticed something at the end of the row of hung-up dresses.
I reached up and took the coathanger, stepping back to see the dress. It wasn't big or flashy, like the others, but extremely beautiful. Like the room, it stuck with the swan theme, being made out of soft, white feathers. Small, intricate patterns were stuck on in diamonds. I decided I'd wear this, and shut the wardrobe. I went over to the dresser, and looked in the draws- underwear and silky nightgowns. In one draw there was a dressing gown, so I took off my uniform and pulled it on instead. I retreated to sit on the stool by the dressing table. I'd had a small wash in the bathroom, and the dirt had gone to reveal a bruise on my cheek and a cut on my arm. I bound the cut with a bandage, tied in a bow, and brushed make up on the bruise to get rid of it slightly. Then I slipped the dress on.
It was stunning, the effect it had. I liked the dress, and despite myself, smiled at my reflection in the full-length mirror on the opposite side of the room. I sprayed myself with some perfume on the dressing table, and jumped at the sound of knocking on the door.
I rushed over to see Cindy, dressed in a black gown. She looked me up and down with disgust. Did I over do it? I asked nervously. Cindy shook her head.
No, no. If anything, you've underdone it. Oh well. Come on, we don't have all day.
She led me back to the stairs, and then straight down a corridor to another, similar set of stairs. I followed her down and through one of the doors. Inside was a dining room. The walls were painted dark red, and wall lamps lit the room. There was a long, oak table with chairs around it.
Micky and Night were sat, with Cody on one side and Rhythm on the other. Cindy whispered in my ear. You'll be sitting on Cody's left. Good luck.
She walked off and sat by her brother. I sat next to Cody. Night and Micky began to talk quietly together, and Cindy whispered furiously to her brother. I blushed slightly, wishing I was invisible.
I was way, way out of my depth.

I've decided it's time to move on, and so I've quit CS. It's been a good three years, but, well, as of May 2014, I don't think I'll be coming back. I'd like to say thank you, to all of you. Thank you for encouraging me, inspiring me, and being my friends. I've had so much fun, but this is the end. Seeing as this is my last visit, I've changed my username back to the original, Rebel Faery. It's a name that I no longer go by, but a name I'll always remember. I'm so sorry to every fan of TIAJNAD, to everyone that read my writing, to, well, everyone. But it's time to move on. To make like Elsa and let it go. (I was still on CS when Frozen came out. It feels like so long ago.)
let it go, let it go, and I'll rise like the break of dawn
let it go, let it go, that perfect girl is gone
here I'll stand, and here I'll stay
let the storm rage on
the cold never bothered me anyway
