All the while as she flew, she kept her gaze trained on Daniel and Aasiyah. They had some sort of talk and Daniel did something, but she didn't care. She caught sight of Freak from her vantage point and was going to fly down towards him, but he followed his worker as she left. When the guards came out to round up the creatures, she just smirked and continued to fly around. She didn't want to land yet and decided to be a brat. After taunting them with a few swoops, she shifted and landed. When she did, one of the guards actually slapped her arm. She growled and was going to attack him when the other one pinned her arms.

She was led back inside like a prisoner and thrown roughly into her cage. She lunged at the men again but the cage door shut. A small sharp edge caught on her forehead and ripped open the skin above her left eye. Blood trickled down and she growled savagely as the men left. Without even wiping the blood off, she leaned back in her cage and wrapped her wings around herself.

Asher watched a warm smile spread across her face. He dropped the smile from his, and listened to her as she spoke.
“No worries. I’ve been hurt a lot worse than this…”
She sat down, indian style, and pulled the hairtie out of her hair, letting the orange locks flood around her shoulders. She tucked a few strands behind her ears, but let most frame her face.
“So tell me, Asher, what would you want to be able to do with your powers the most?” She asked.
This question took him by surprise. He thought for a moment, and finally replied in his steady medium-toned voice, "Even after years of training, it's still hard for me to maintain my hold on a lot of senses for more than a few minutes. I want to try pairing it with hand to hand combat too, without having to concentrate so much on keeping a hold of the illusions."He was being truthful, but he still wished to be able to have a sure way to escape with his powers. Though considering that Aasiyah seemed to be his pet, it was best to keep that part silent.

Aasiyah watched the boy as she processed what he asked for. Knowing full well that Freak wouldn’t be happy with her for taking up a project without asking his permission first, Aasiyah wanted to pick her words carefully.
“I can help you with holding an emotion for more than a few seconds, how to grasp control of the emotions of others, and I can start tonight if it would please you.”

Watching as Aasiyah seemed to walk away from him and back into the keeper’s building he couldn’t help but stare fascinated. She hadn’t been able to feel pain? Biting his lip he looked down in only a matter of seconds before Asher came up to him. Listening to what Asher was saying to him Daniel let the boy get it all out of his system counting the fact that when he tried to talk or even open his mouth Asher seemed to start talking again. “Asher calm down” Daniel whispered afterwards. A small cheeky smile on his face as he said it. “I did it for a few reasons, one of them being that she dared me to but I only made sure to leave a minor mark. She seemed happy about it happening anyway something about actually feeling pain? Personally I think if she wants to feel pain I could just burn her more often but no I stopped.” Daniel replied to half of what Asher had said. His brain raking for what else Asher had said before he continued to talk to him. “I hve been told that before though so you’re not the first to tell me that, besides their meant to hear it. Think about it if they get distracted from trying to prevent us from escaping of course it will be harder to but then Freak pays less attention to what is close to him. Why do you think I was just talking to Aasiyah? You know I wouldn’t normally go and willingly talk to a worker like that” Daniel whispered glancing around the courtyard as he did so.

As he heard him continue to talk about Aasiyah he couldn’t help but smirk a little in response. “Why do I need to explain myself to you brotha?” Daniel asked jokingly. “Trust I promise you one day I’ll get you out of here whether Freak knows it or not there will be a rebellion against him. But you gotta think like you mean it, don’t think for the obvious Asher think for the goal that leads to the near obvious” Daniel muttered not knowing if he actually got what he was saying but it was worth a shot since in his head it seemed a little complicated yet clear. Looking down to see Asher’s fist holding onto his shirt he raised an eyebrow at him, “Now you can help me out with the plan or not but if you don’t than go cry to Freak I’m sure he needs a pat on the back now since he ran off after Aasiyah. But I prefer girls mate” Daniel whispered winking a little hoping that Asher’s actions would be what he wanted them to be. A riot would be good but no if they went moving than that could give them a chance to set up base somewhere else where they could protect themselves against Freak and whatever mojo he had… if he had any at all. Holding a small smirk on his face he looked around the courtyard surveying the grounds before he looked back at Asher and pushed the guy away from him so he wasn’t holding onto Daniel’s clothing any more.

“I don’t know about you but I think Freak doesn’t have a chance of scaring me” Daniel whispered back before looking around the yard before looking back to Asher. Noticing that the guards seemed to start getting everyone inside he couldn’t help but frown a little when he noticed that Aasiyah was nearing them. “Why?” Daniel asked as he listened to what Aasiyah had said. Watching as the conversation with her and Asher seemed to go by Daniel silently followed them. After all it was better than being locked up in a cage all day in his opinion, not to mention he could get a good look at the lay outs of the building. When he moved through the door he thought he saw Freak which made him pause for a few seconds before he continued on. Staying quiet as Asher and Aasiyah talked between themselves, he was more interested in the floor plans of the building so he was fine with that. As they seemed to stop in a room he looked around before looking at the door. “What makes you think we won’t turn on you?” Daniel asked a little curiously before turning his attention towards Aasiyah curiously.

“You won’t.”
Her response was simple yet powerful. If she really wanted to she would have told Daniel it was either behave with her or go back to his crappy cage, but no, she was going to play nice to the flame.
“Come sit with us, flames.” She meant the pet name as a good thing and didn’t bother to see if Daniel took it the right way or not.
“You don’t have control like you think you do, Daniel. That’s why I am here. To help you learn control in a more… humane way.”

Looking up around the room he started to take in any small details any way that he could possible escape them or the room he was in now. But he didn’t let that affect him right now since there were a few other matters at hand at the current moment. Turning to look at her when she replied he raised an eyebrow in response a small smile appearing on his face afterwards. “Really? And are you ready to test that out or not?” Daniel asked stepping forwards towards her as the flames on his arms seem to rise off his skin.

“I prefer to stand” Daniel muttered after a few seconds in reply to what she had said about going and sitting down with her and Asher. In his opinion he was starting to wonder why she was like this when Freak was the opposite of her. Maybe opposites attract, if he could get her to stick around him more than she did with Freak it might cause him to take action. But that was a high risk in his head it sounded like a good plan but when he really thought it though it didn’t sound like a good plan. “I think I can control my abnormalities perfectly fine” Daniel growled a little annoyed as he twisted his head to look at her. “I wouldn’t be worried about that though, I would be worried about the fact that I might not want to control my flames when I’m around certain people” He continued. He had often lost control around Freak before in some of the practices and lessons that they had gone though. Mainly he did just let the flames take over with his emotions but if there was a sudden spike in his emotions he knew well enough that he will lose control.

“I think I learnt enough from your so called Freak of a darling” he muttered sarcastically, a small cheeky smile appearing on his face when he said it. “Besides I was thinking I could go for a walk around this fabulous place” Daniel said rolling his eyes when he said Fabulous.

Soren is a shapeshifter with only one form. A black Irish Wolfhound. He can move easily between his animal form and human form. He can also phase partway into wolfhound form, which means he can have a tail, ears, paws, or even head of his animal form whenever he pleases.

Black. When he was little, he always kept it short and cropped closely to his ears. But as he got older and eventually became more reckless, he let it grow. Now it's longer, and spikes naturally.

Green. His mother's eyes were green. Or so he was told.

About 5'7". His parents were never tall, and he suspects that he won't get much taller, if grow at all as he get's older.

Soren isn't very tall, but he's thin. He's fairly well muscled , but he's not very strong.

Various scars from miscellaneous activites have left him fairly well battered. He has a long, jagged scar down the side of his left leg from falling onto a glass vase and breaking it.

Personality:
Soren is incredibly curious, ambitious, and outspoken. He's a little hotheaded, and has a bit of a temper when provoked. From his early years, he had always been a little too nosy and into things that he shouldn't. He was always seculded as a child, and therefore didn't fully know how to act around children his own age. He had always been smaller and more different from other kids, so he was seperated from them quickly. Soren is still slightly socially awkward, but has a broad sense of humor. He loves jokes, making other people laugh, and laughing in general. Also, when he believes in something, he believes in it with all of his heart. He's hard to sway when he has his mind set on something. Though he has never had many friends, he is one of the best you could ever have. He's incredibly loyal, and would willingly give up his life in a heartbeat to save people close to him. He can be a flirt around girls, but is typically not. He will fight for what he believes in until his dying breath, and loves to share his opinion.
History:
Soren's parents were young, reckless, and carefree. Mariee Jones and Gregory Jones. As soon as they're young son was born, they put him up for adoption, and disappeared out of his life entirely. From a very young age, Soren was always very different from the young kids. In result, he wasn't adopted, and was mostly ignored. From the age to 1 to 6, he hardly made contact with children his age, and many adults refused to take care of him. When he was 7, he was moved to an Orphanage, and was deemed 'unadoptable'. Though they caretakers at this new place tried hard, they couldn't seem to pin what it was that made Soren so strange and different from the rest. When he was at the age of 5, Soren discovered his power. He was incredibly thrilled, but also scared. He was confused that not everyone his age was able to do the same thing. As he got older, he was able to control his shapeshifting ability with ease, and understood that this alone made him very different from everyone else. He had always been pleased that he wasn't like everyone else. At the age of 12, he was caught in the act of shapeshifting by a group of older boys that resided at the Orphanage. They were bigger, stronger, and incredibly stupid. They didn't understand how Soren was able to do this, and were terrified of him. They're fear provoked them to attack him, and he was badly beaten by them. As soon as he recovered, he decided to leave. Packing what little possescions he had, he disappeared into an August night. Soren stole, hunted, and begged for survival, and continued to move west. For a year, he survived, and even thrived in this new way of living. And then he met Freak. At first, the man to him seemed quite normal. He was intrigued by him, and kept close by him throughout the day. He was caught shapeshifting, and captured. He's been with Freak and his workers for 3 years.

Listening to Daniel go on and on, Aasiyah shifted how she was sitting. Unknown to both of the boys, she pressed a button on a remote she had with her. The door swung shut and locked itself before Daniel could walk out of the room.
“Sit.”
Aasiyah went back to speaking to Asher, pretending to ignore Daniel. She told Asher about her powers and what she was capable of. She told him about the hardships of the war, of how she became a nurse, how her station was attacked, how she thought she was dead, how she first met Freak and those first few months within the manor.
“…I hated it here and a part of me still does. He kept me in a cage smaller than the ones you sleep in… much smaller. He would wake me up an ungodly hour of the night to run more tests….”
She told Asher, and Daniel, how months turned into a year and how that year turned into 3. Asher listened with mild amusement to her history, she knew that. She could feel that. Daniel was conflicted as she told him her past, her powers, and her present in full details.
