Kristal stiffled her laughter "no..." she said in between fits of giggles "I'm not that good." she finished as her laughter slowly subsided, a few people in the store gave her weird looks but she ignored them, they didn't know her and they deffinetly didn't have the right to judge not that, that would stop them. Meet Travis's eyes Kristal smiled "so what's it like being in a band?" she asked, just plain curious "is it as glamourous as it's supposed to be?".

Lily knew she should have brought sunglasses with her but she could not do anything know. Next time she would since she knew that she was going to be stuck in this place for another billion years. Looking down at her feet as she walked it felt nice to be alone since you did not always have someone on your back trying to get attention but it also was bad to be alone in the world. Not having a real friend was like a part of you dieing on the inside. On the outside you could cover up what you were feeling but on the inside it was impossible. You could tell yourself over and over that everything was okay but you were just lying to yourself.

Holly knew that people would of course give her a hard time for being back after she had been a total b*tch last time she was here. It was a new year and a new summer which meant turning over a new leaf. She really wanted to change and if it took some time then that was okay, she was learning that sometimes you had to be yourself around people. Yes she still wanted to have control over what happened in her life but she could not control everything, sometimes she had to hand it over to fate.

Looking up read the name of the store in her head and knew that she had to give herself time, you should not judge a book by it's cover. Opening the door to the music store she looked around, first word that came to mind;hectic. She could always come back but of course that meant walking back all the way to her car which was not an option since she was glad to be out of the heat. The AC felt nice but with so many people it felt more like a broken AC. Putting her sunglasses on top of her head she started to look around hoping she was long forgotten and was just another tourist to the locals.

Hmm, service is slow today, I guess. Ronnie thought to herself. She turned around on her heels and walked outside. A cool breeze met her as she stepped out onto the pavement. Signing quietly, the girl started walking up the street, hoping to meet some people.
She walked a little farther up the block, but was disappointed to see that the road was closed off due to work. Turning around, Ronnie crossed the street and entered the small coffee shop. The bell on the door rang as she stepped inside. Although it wasn't too hot outside, the air-conditioning was probably up at it's highest inside the little shop. She sat down at one of the tables and relaxed for a bit. Well, this was going to be fun, wasn't it? Staying in Oakland California for the summer. Knowing nobody. Not knowing where anything is. Fun.
