Cheetahpaw looked at Coconutsplash. "I will work with her. Make sure she knows the warrior code." she mewed to him hoping the tom would allow it.

Cougarpaw was rearing to go but he was also intrigued about an outsider.

Coconutsplash thought this offer out for a moment, but then nodded in agreement. "Very well. You're practically a warrior at this point; after we find Vipertail, Twix can be your apprentice."

Cheetahpaw smiled extremely excited now. "Thank you Coconutsplash! I won't let you down!"

Thrushbeak lead the patrol to the entrance of the tunnel to the Moonoasis. "Viperstar...?" he hesitantly called.

Vipertail heard a voice. She tried to curl into a tighter ball, hoping she would dissapear all together.

Cougarpaw looked around looking for the familiar pelt of his new leader. Lifting his head he could smell her... along with her scent came the scent of fear and confusion. Cocking his head he slowly made his way forward.

Diamondfeather followed Mumblepaw and Squirrelsong to the moonoasis. "Stop." she mewed quietly to them. "I can smell others in there. We don't want to catch them off guard."

Thrushbeak followed Cougarpaw.

Cougarpaw coked his head again following the scent. "Great Eonclan." he whispered as he saw a young cat infront of him trying to shove herself into a hiding spot. The pelt was familiar and his eyes grew wide. "Viperstar?" he mewed

Vipertail whimpered and hung her head in humiliation.

Squirrelsong winced, her body tensing, though she forced herself to keep moving. Hollowflight. Mumblepaw was right, OasisClan had stopped a SunClan patrol before, even with a medicine cat present. And that had resulted in a good warrior's death. SunClan didn't need anymore of that on their paws. Though she didn't really know where she was going, Squirrelsong had a strange sensation in her gut, like some invisible force drawing her forward. And somehow, she knew that this was where the Moon Oasis lied. Following in her gut's direction, she saw a faint figure of a rocky outcrop appearing on the horizon. It looked like..a tunnel! But surely the Moon Oasis didn't lie underground?

Duskfire was long gone from the Dirtplace by this point. She'd only hesitated for a moment, just to be sure that no cat was following after her, before racing across the sandy dunes, stretching out as far as the eye could see. Chuckwalla Rock. Chuckwalla Rock. Chuckwalla Rock. She chanted rhythmically over in her head. Finally spotting the familiar landscape, she skidding to a stop, relived to see that Wickedpaw hadn't arrived yet.

"What do you mean, others?" Squirrelsong persisted, giving Diamondfeather a sideways glance. The idea that some cats might actually live under all this..sand, was disgusting. Had OasisClan really subjugated themselves to such a cause?
