Anastesia could feel blood still churning in her lungs as she walked. She had been able to keep herself from coughing for a while, but had vomited up blood several times instead. She shivered as the wind blew by for the millionth time. She was irritated at herself. Irritated for somehow falling out of a window, irritated she'd stepped all over glass and God only knows what else, irritated that she had no idea where the hell she was going other than straight. Anastesia hugged herself and kept walking against the breeze. Purple shadows were being cast by the trees and they're canopies of leaves; it was going to be dark soon. She'd been walking a realtively straight path for the past while, and from what she'd heard the city limits should be close by. But she had no idea how close... She gritted her teeth in frustration and let out an anguished sigh. Take a left here and walk for another mile. There should be a road. the Voice informed her. "Thanks for the tip!" she spat in response. "I hope I get run over!" For once the Voice stayed silent. The thought of finally trumping the Voice tugged the corners of Anastesia's red mouth into a satisfied smile.
She did what the Voice said, and {of course} it was right again. Anastesia mused at the lights she could see; the zooming little wisps of tailights and city lights seemed to dance around. But that could've just been her head... Anasetsia stepped onto the warm asphalt of the road and grimanced. The heat seemed to be a double-edged sword; it felt good on the parts of her feet that hadn't been peirced by glass and underbrush, but her injuries felt as if they were being cauterized. She hissed at the pain and felt her knees begin to buckle, but she held it off for a while longer to keep walking. She would be near the city soon, and she could see people not to far ahead. Both of them seemed to be ready to collapse. She almost recognized one of them. Ren... She was sure it was Ren she was seeing. She had small splurges of memories that he was in. 20 years in the same building, and she still only kew his name. And that he'd been brainstorming all this time, just waiting for the perfect day to get out. She said nothing as she half ran past them. They needed help, she needed help.

He knew that the others were close when they stopped. It just took him a few minutes of limping around before he saw them down the hill. Raccoon looked back at the dragon, who's name he would surely have to find out later, before gesturing her forward. She was still carrying the boy that whipped blood, which was good, because Raccoon doubted he could walk. He could hardly walk himself, tripping over almost every loose stone and nearly falling multiple times as he skidded down the small hill and to where the group seemed to have met up. He stopped within them, swaying uneasily upon his feet. At least he was still here. If they could say nothing else about him, they could say that he escaped the first stage of their escape. The problem now was that everyone now looked sort of confused. Like they didn't know what to do...and when he followed their gazes to the city, he understood.
It was huge, and glorious. And everything he ever wished for. It was noisy, bustling, there were people everywhere. Raccoon just stared in awe for a moment, and then a particularly heavy wave of nausea enveloped him. He stepped back near his dragon friend. It was funny, how he already knew who was going to be his friends, despite the first impressions. It was going to be the blood whipping boy and the dragon girl, no doubt. The three of them had just barely escaped with their lives together, and it was very difficult to form a connection like that. Raccoon already felt like they were siblings, as ridiculous as it was. He put his hand on her neck, dipping his head and taking several hopefully-deep breaths. He looked up after he felt momentarily better, to their great leader for help. They needed someone to lead them through this...but when he saw the boy, he just couldn't bear say that it was him. So, Raccoon, beat-up as he was, stepped up.
"Okay," he tried, his voice cracking slightly. He cleared his throat and tried again, this time it worked a quite a bit better. "So, we're all pretty badly hurt, I'm pretty disgusting-looking, sorry about that, but we need to find a safe place. And that safe place is somewhere out there-" he pointed over to the city, which still amazed and enthralled him. "I'm thinking our best chances for now are to find an abandoned or empty home on the edges of the city, rest there for a few days, maybe a few weeks, until we feel stronger, and then move into something more permanent. I don't know if you guys all feel like bunking up together, but I sure don't want to be alone, and I don't think being in a group will hurt us. Does anyone have any other ideas?" He looked out over the small group, wondering if someone would step up and challenge him and his loosely formed idea, or if they would just go along with it.

:T O R I N:
Torin was struggling to stay upright on the dragon. Truth be told, he really wanted to just drop on the side of the road and stay there for the rest of his life... Or at least until he felt better. Which, probably, would take quite a while knowing him.
Slowly, he lowered himself down to actually lay on the dragon's back. They weren't moving, so he figured it was safe to do so. He watched with blurry vision as the raven haired boy, whose name he hadn't bothered to obtain, walk to the front of the ground and deliver a speech and propose an idea. Torin's mind ran with questions.
"No ideas, but I have a few questions," he said slowly, focusing on breathing. The pain of having broken a few bones made it almost unbearable. "Food. Where will we get it? And... And other stuff. Like, clothes. Won't we need those? If the people from the institution come looking, don't you think they'll recognize us in these given outfits?"
Speaking was a challenge, and it made his throat hurt like hell, but he wanted to speak his mind. A place to stay would be good, but the other problems plagued him. He panted a little and stared towards the buildings, cars, and people. There were so many of them. He wondered... Would he get lost?
"It's pretty," he whispered to himself, despite it being entirely blurred and smooshed together in his eyes.

[Cleo : Van : Blake]
Location: Near Dome Side, forest ahead
Talking to: Raven-haired boy
Pain: Mild 51% Cuts on Sides, right arm. Roof burned. Weak, and tired, and dragon affecting pain
Form: Dragon
Emotions: Calming, Tired and weak mostly
If you want to get out alive, run for your life.
Softly with her legs aching as well as her bones smashing up against one another in protest of which from was best she walked slowly after the raven-haired boy with a slight sort of protective glance around them as they moved on. She was nervous to be out in the open. Would a big dragon get noticed easy? Letting out a sigh from questions she stopped beside the boy once he found the rest of the group, and against her wish her neck stretched up a bit like a building nearby to glance down at the group with a sort of curious expression on her face. Though, none seemed to look at her. With a glance up she suddenly seen more than just a building wreak and torn. There where monster like towers higher than herself, and lots of old cars that layed against the gravel road, and people to who moved like bugs against the city. The grey shadows where lifeless as she stared at the large city, and with a sort of awe she almost had to crane her neck back to see the towers ahead with such height and grace it seemed to touch the white clouds. Then, as if jolting her form her thoughts and stare raven-haired move back to place his hand against her neck where her body rumbled softly in comfort.
She knew he was a friend, and even her other side agreed even as she fought for control over her mind at this moment in soft pain. It seemed like he knew when to take charge as soon he began to speak out ideas, and to her it made her feel comforted that he was not some nervous teen she had to save then more of a boy who could take charge in tough times. She was even a bit happy, and would have said something if it had not been for her dragon form and the fact anything she would say would come out as a growl or roar.
With the wait on her shoulders, and the more time spent her body of human growing much weaker in the form of a dragon she did only thing she could at this moment with her body torn, hurting, and bleeding, as well not to forget a boy laying against her back like a soft pillow which again made her feel useful. Her body herself layed down next to raven-haired with a bit of rumble as her head was lastly placed on her white soft paws, and her eyes moved around fastly to watch each member of the group.

Raccoon looked over at the boy that he labelled as his friend, nodding to his questions, They were logical. Actually, they made a whole love more sense than he had thought into. He frowned, trying to consider the question for a few moments. Finally, he came up with an answer. "I think the best option would be to go to a house whose owners are like, on summer vacation, or winter vacation or something. Where the house is empty, but their clothes and their food and everything is still there. If we stay in one of those houses for a little while, maybe we can scope out the neighborhood and find some other places to steal from?" He suggested, knowing that this idea would get much less approval than the very, very rough draft. To justify the stealing, because he considered it very, very wrong, Raccoon spoke again.
"I mean, how are we supposed to live if we don't steal? None of us have any money, or anything worth any real value in that area. There is no way we would be able to earn it ourselves unless we all took jobs or started bumming on the streets or something. But- to get a job, we would need to look nice. Presentable. That require clothing. How do you get clothing? Stealing." Raccoon nodded, as if to himself. His throat was beginning to ache and his voice getting weaker, but he hadn't let that stop him. He had to say something, to direct the group somewhere. Without guidance they were simply scared kids that had no where to go. Raccoon didn't like being a scared kid with nowhere to go. He glanced down at the dragon, who was now laying by his side, thinking about placing his hand on her again, but deciding not to. Unneeded physical contact could lead to complications.

:T O R I N:
Torin drew in deep breaths and glanced to him. He rolled onto his side, his wounded and bleeding shoulder pressed against the dragon's back. He figured it might help clot it over, and prevent too much more bleeding. He already knew he was loosing too much.
As he stared at the raven haired boy, he wondered something. The man had saved him. Picked him up, hoisted him onto this girl's back, and called it a day. He had helped him. Why? It didn't make too much sense to him. Was if a friendship? An obligation? Guilt? Well, whatever it was, Torin was thankful. He'd have to thank him eventually. Perhaps in private when they found shelter, and he was better rested and cleaned.
"Then who's going to be the sinner and do it?" he gasped out. "I get the whole survival thing; I'm not stupid. But I'm thinking that if we just go into someone's home and use their clothes, what if we have to leave so suddenly and when they return they find their possessions missing? They may contact people. And, we don't know when they would be returning, so we'd be in constant worry, which leads to stress and problems which, honestly, I think we have plenty of already."
Torin paused and shut his eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm being pessimistic."

BruteEvery time he breathed the pain seemed to fill him like air. He didn't even bother to crank his head to look at his side. With every effort to breath he could feel amount skin he had lost from a bullet he had taken. His side was most likely stripped of skin, bloody, and one could probably count his ribs, if he had any left.
Brute still clambered on through the forest even with his laboured breathing. He had to put distance between him and the enemy. However, with ever step there was still extreme pain that flared across his body like a fire. Shards of glass still dug deep into his black fur and with every movement they scraped deeper and deeper.
His black pelt had been darker even more as his and others' blood had dried on it. Fresh blood still oozed from various places around his body and there was a deep sharp pain in his shoulder. As he limped along, he was sure he had injured his shoulder from when he had fallen from the roof.
Suddenly, Brute knew his pace must have slowed a great amount when he began to hear shouts and gunshots from behind. He knew that everyone else had taken the road and suddenly knew that was a bad idea. The guards would surely take the road first because that easiest until they received more backup to hunt down the experiments.
The panther stopped abruptly in his mission to escape. The word "escape" echoed in his mind but he pushed it aside. Not only did he need to find against the instinct to run, but he also knew he had to stay conscious, even with the overwhelming pain. His flicked with with with annoyance as a great battle took place within him, trying to decide what to do.
Finally he turned and began heading for the road and town intersection where he was guessing they must have passed. If they had left from there then Brute hoped he would be able to track them. Even though everything within screamed, the panther picked up the pace and began crashing through the forest, hoping to reach the other kids with powers before the guards did.

RileyRiley suddenly stepped forward from where she had been standing silently. She had been listening and thinking while they had discussed and she was pretty sure she had something figured out that could work. She took a deep breath before moving more to the centre of the group.
"I don't think we should stay here." She declared, looking around at all the bloodied faces. "If we stay here, even if hidden, we will most likely be found. Guards are most likely on their way as we speak. I bet you they will track us down one by one until we are all locked up again.
Riley suddenly looked downward and brought a hand over one of her wrists where scars littered the skin. "They want what we have..." Her voice had suddenly changed, more of a whisper now. Her gaze flickered back up to the faces, wondering what power each one held. "And unless you want to spend another bloody night in one of their cages or another day suffering from their experiments, then I suggest we get as far as way as possible."
Riley's voice rose as she spoke and now she began to introduce part of her idea. "I don't think we want to steal from families so I suggest we take from a store. We will be able to get clothing, food, and medical supplies for everyone with the help of our...knacks. She said, not exactly sure what to call each of their abilities.
"Then we need to get as far from here as possible...And I think the best way to do that is to use one of those." Riley lifted her arm and pointed in the direction of the streets where lamps lighted the area. Cars, trucks, and vans of all sorts drove along even at this time of night. "Surely we will be able to find one of those to fit all of us so we can far from here and figure out what we do next..."
As the closing of her little speech came to an end, Riley suddenly flushed, thinking it was rather out of character for her to do such a think. She slowly stepped back again where she had been to begin with to listen and hear their thoughts and comments on what should be done. Riley did not want to argue or force anyone to do anything they didn't want to, she only wanted to help and she was sure that this would be a good way, especially if they could all stay together.

"I'm not religious," Raccoon said, "so, technically, I wouldn't be sinning." When he said this, he wasn't being rude, he was just pointing out a mere fact that he wasn't religious. And then the girl that he was speaking to earlier presented him with a brilliant idea. "How about this...we break into a mall?" Raccoon suggested, now very eager. "It would have everything! Food, water, clothing, maybe some medicine, stuff like glasses in case we needed it..." He trailed off, looking around the group. Why had he suggested himself for this? It was ridiculous. He was still swaying on his feet, and here he was trying to take over the group. He didn't wan everyone to look up to him, but that was what it was turning into, unless someone else stepped up, instead of just proposing new ideas to add to his. "There, I could probably snatch a good amount of money, or stuff that I can pawn for money, and we could find an apartment, or a house or something."
Raccoon didn't even know how much those things cost, but he did know that they were a lot. That wasn't a very good thing.
