Status Update: Now, at last, I am finishing up. I can't believe that it's over already. I've had a blast while designing a personality and piecing toghether my form, as well as keeping an eye out for competition. (All of your forms are lovely, I know that even if I don't win her she will be loved completely!) So thank you for the opportunity, WOI staff, and good luck to all of my competitors. Here goes nothing...
My name is Kolton. My name is one from ancient times,
when dangerous 'humans' roamed the land. It gives me an edge,
and I quite like it.
I am a female, and I should like to think that it is quite obvious.
Then again, Kolton is often mistaken for a guy's name. I'll let it
slip this time, but next time?
Watch your tail; I might just rip it off.

Number one, the gorgeous female. <3 Why her? Well, I was originally applying for the newest WOI teenie. He was great, sure, but I realized I was only applying for him because I wanted a WOI- not because he was my absolute favorite or because we "clicked". As I went back to the WOI thread to re-read and scan over the rules, I noticed that a new litter was up. When I saw this beauty, my heart melted. She's the most gorgeous WOI ever, and I'd be honored to call her my own. Snowy white coat painted with fawn and jet black, dappled with spots and swirls, touches of olive green. I couldn't imagine a more perfect WOI if I tried. If my form was chosen, I'd love my Kolton forever. :3
The first thing I'd do would be to create a thread for her in Share Your Art. There I would post this form, all of her art, and start on several short stories about my precious Kolton. Then I'd go out on an art palooza (XD) and parade her around in my signature for all of CS to see.

Kolton sure isn't lacking is self esteem. Her confidence is unmistakeable even as she walks. Chest puffed out, chin and head held high. She doesn't care about haters (they gonna hate) because, well, she finds herself to be a better warrior than them. Even when Kolton doesn't exactly know what she's doing, she holds confidence in herself and in everything that she does and says. Whether this is one of her better or worse traits, I could not tell you. It depends. In some cases, confidence means defiance. Defiance or rebellion is often frowned upon, but without it there would be no change in the world. In other cases, confidence means being a stuck-up snob. Sure, this would be one of those worse traits, but Kolton isn't a snob. Her confidence usually leads to gaining what she wants, but unlike the standard "snob", she does not think of others as inferior unless they are rude themselves. In the end, Kolton's confidence ties toghether her personality.
After you're around Kolton for a matter of seconds, you realize that she's quite aggresive. Always taunting, threatening. She's like a cobra waiting to strike, though that cobra surprisingly keeps her fangs away. This is why she's only partialy aggresive in my mind. It always seems as though she's going to snap, that the cobra will strike, though after a minute or two it seems that the cobra has fallen asleep. She almost seems to completely forget about her threat, never acting as she has said. Her most famous little threat is ripping off one's tail. Charming, isn't she? Now, this is most certainly one of her worse traits, but it can be bent to her advantage. If you don't know Kolton well and are truly afraid of her, she will take advantage of it by gaining information. And boy, she's good at it.
I have nothing much to say here apart from that Kolton is very loud- not just in speech, but in her opinions and decisions. She's not afraid to voice her thoughts, and when she does she screams them out and states that those opinions are completely and one-hundred percent correct. If she was a human being, you would never want to take her into a library.
Kolton is, not surprisingly, very brave. On the few occasions where she does feel threatened or even a little scared, she pushes down her emotions and carries on. When she's an adult, it wouldn't be surprising to find her as the first to plunge into battle, meeting the enemy Kronadors with sharp claws and deadly jaws. She never thinks twice about protecting her family, her friends, even complete strangers. She would do anything to guard those she loves, even if that means risking her own life. One of her better traits, I should think, though sometimes bravery isn't the solution. This can often lead Kolton into a very protective mode, where she often gets into unneeded fights started by problems that could have easily been resolved.
Here's a post that I found on Youtube the other day as I was browsing through videos. It was on a particularly lovely song called Starmaker, and it was very inspiring. 'To all the dreamers of the world, may you walk in your destiny and let your hearts lead the way. I don't know how many of us there are left, but never stop shining, be the light you are......dance, sing, paint, play your instrument, lift your voices....never stop believing..........may you shine forever.' It really got me thinking. True dreamers are not those who wish for power or fame or even riches, but those who inspire the world and wish for a sliver of peace or mercy. Kolton is one of these dreamers. All she wants is a better world, peace between the chimera Kronadors and the brave Warriors. All she wants is for Isket to become united, and for both sides of the war to live in harmony. This is what motivates her in battle. She knows that she is not only fighting for her pack, she is fighting for peace.
Kolton is a generally happy pup. Sure, she can be a bit snappy. Sure, she can come off as a snob at times. Sure, she's overly protective. But in the end, she's just another bouncy little pup. And most of the time, she's nothing more than that: a tiny little furball with her own view of the world.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Please note that this is only a rough concept. I am not the best artist and would never design her armor by myself, though I do like the idea of silver and emeralds for this beauty. The emeralds to match the olive-green on her shoulder, and the silver to compliment her white coat. Silver mesh would be draped in various places on the chest and back, and fake silver claws (and shin-guard things) would be added. Brown leather straps would hold it all toghether. Apart from this, I have no idea how her armor will end up.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Sorren: *thinking* Wha- What if they aren't-
Sorren paced along the boundary of the den, his paws parting the dew-covered Isket grass. He glanced down at his deep maroon paws against the chillingly blue grasses. It was early morning, one of the few moments in the Isket day where a Warrior could enjoy the sunlight. Sorren's pack must have been relaxing in the sun, for the only noises he heard in the distance were those of impatient pups and their mothers trying to shush them. There was no sun-basking for Sorren, however, as he was expecting his own pups. He and Kafka had been anxiously awaiting their arrival, but now Sorren wished he could have a bit more time to sort out his thoughts. Instead, they had come to him in a flood of emotion. What if they aren't healthy? What if they aren't everything I imagined them to be? Wha- What if they aren't- Sorren turned to hear a low whimper from the den. Was Kafka okay? Should he go in?Kafka: S- Sorren? They're here...
Suddenly, a gentle whisper broke through the den entrance. It was a familiar voice- one of his mate, Kafka. "S- Sorren? They're here..." Kafka did not say more, for reasons Sorren was unsure of. Perhaps she was just trying not to disturb the pups. But perhaps she was sick or weak. What if delivering the pups had taken all of her energy? Sorren froze in fear. If she were sick, it would be all his fault... No, he couldn't think about it. As he began to take those first stpes towards the den, he shifted his thoughts to the pups. Were they really here? His pups were here already? What if they were born too soon? I could have sworn they weren't due for another week! But that was nonsense. Why was I fretting in the first place, if they wern't due for another week? They're going to be fine. Pulling himself toghether, Sorren quietly padded up to the den and dipped his head below the red rock.No dialogue/thoughts.
Sorren, overcome by the sudden darkness of the den, shook his head and paused. After his vision had completely returned, he spotted Kafka in the far corner. Even at a distance it was clear that Kafka was fine; her eyes were focused on her stomach, where two tiny furballs were nestled against her creamy white fur. As he tip-toed closer and closer to his mate, he could just make out the two heads and eight tiny legs of his newborn pups. Then, as he got even closer, he could point out the details: four eyes, two tiny noses, more dull claws than he could count... They were perfect. And tiny. And his. A rush of pride poured over him, drowning his fears.Sorren: They- They're beautiful. Both of them. Kafka: What do you mean? There are three!
Sorren leaned towards Kafka, whispering to her in a sing-songy melody. "They- They're beautiful. Both of them." He once again glanced down at the little bundles against her stomach, smiling at them as if to say Welcome to the world, little guys. Then he once again gazed into the eyes of his Kafka. This time, however, they weren't filled with the compassion and love as they had been moments ago. Now they held a strong fear. Sorren, concerned as can be, felt a flame of terror rising in his chest, though he tried his best not to show it in fear of scaring Kafka further. He gazed down at her and waited for her to explain herself, for he could not find words of his own. "What do you mean? There are three!"Sorren: Come here, little pup!
Sorren felt his heart flutter in his chest. There were only two pups that he could see! He watched desperately as Kafka searched for her missing pup, her eyes wide and frantic. He quickly joined in, scanning through the darkness for another tiny pup. He felt himself overheating as worry filled him, though he knew he must find his pup. At last, he spotted something in the corner. Could it be? He padded towards it, sighing with relief as he realized that it was, in fact, the missing pup. And she was as beautiful as the others. "Come here, little pup!" he gently sighed as he bent down to scoop her up.Kafka: She was my first born. Only female, too. Isn't she lovely?
Sorren gently took the pup in his jaws, carefully carrying her back to Kafka. She squirmed the entire way to the back of the den, though Sorren was so overcome by the thoughts of having three healthy pups... he wasn't paying much attention. By the time he reached his mate, the squirming had subsided. He turned to Kafka, who had relaxed a bit since he had found the missing pup. She gazed at the small creature in his mouth, smiling at them both. "She was my first born. Only female, too. Isn't she lovely?" And in that moment, Sorren truly realized that she was. They all were.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The fine rays of Isket sunshine arise, painting scenery of the day. Fine wisps of tall, royal blue grass are kissed by a cool breeze.
The drum of the white-watered river, standing out in a world of color, beats as if it were alive.
Cliffs of daring blood-red rock stretch as far as the eye can see in every direction. Morning is upon us, young pup.
That first sign of waking, the rays of sunshine stretching across the land. No wonder everyone wakes up for it; it's the only sunshine we get throughout the entire day. Here in Isket, the sun is shy. He only comes out when he knows that all of the warriors are asleep, and as soon as he learns that they are awake... he never stays long after that. Sorren tells me about everything and anything- why our grass is such a deep blue, why the skies are clear every day- and I listen to it all.
As I crack my eyes open and reality settles into my mind once more, I can't help but smile sheepishly and murmur, Hey, Mr. Sun, I'm up! At the same time, one of my brothers snores. It disrupts my train of thought entirely, though I can't seem to wipe that goofy grin off of my face. Perhaps it was the sunshine that made me happy. The sunshine- how I'd love to bask in it as the warriors do. Perhaps I should. I turn my back to my siblings and cautiously creep out of the den, into the bright Isket sun. Today feels like a good day, though I am suddenly disrupted.
"I saw you get up and get out of the den. I saw you, and I'm gonna tell Sorren!" I turn around to see my brother behind me. Fear rises inside my chest, though I push it down and replace it with a mocking smirk. He must have woken up and seen the whole thing. We were still too young to leave the den without permission, though someone always broke the rule. Usually, it was me.
"You wouldn't dare," I yap, hoping that my words are true. If they aren't, well, it would mean my father's disapproval. I love Sorren more than anything; I would never do that to him if I could avoid it. Plus, everyone would know about it. Pretty soon, they'd all start calling me disobedient or something. Let's face it, I love admiration.
"Uh-huh, I would!" he retorts, sneering. "I'm not afraid of you, Kolton." Though his words are courageous, it's clear that he's lying through his fangs.
"Don't you dare or I- I... I'll rip your measely little tail off!" I taunt, still wearing that smirk. Startled, he turns and flees with one last growl. Job well done, and now I can catch some rays.
I lay down in an open patch of grass, letting the sun's golden light fill me from ears to tail-tip. It truly is an amazing day. But quickly the sun begins to sink away, leaving the world blanketed in darkness. My parents finally wake up, along with my second brother. They don't yet realize I'm gone, and I know that I must run away for now. I groggily haul myself to my paws and dash away to the riverside, my paws digging into the ground. At last I reach an open space ride by the side of the raging river, where I decide to stop. Peace at last.
Or not. Suddenly, there's this huge thing in front of my face. It's white and sparkling and glowing and gross. "MONSTER!" I scream, shaking as I back away from it. I bump into something behind me and spin around. It's Sorren.
"That's only a butterfly, silly."
