Re: The False Target

"Good question, and I think it has equally good answers! So here you are. Contestant number one gave a very passionate answer, being.. 'Oh, well, I would definantly love a family, now that I don't have one...Just picture it, little baby Jellybean Dragons, running around with us, both of us, side by side, together, with our children. I have dreamed of being a mother, and maybe you have wanted to be a father too...'."

He briefly examined Kiwaro's expression, before looking back down to the paper. Was it getting hot in here or what? Why did he need a tuxedo anyway? "Then contestant number two's reply was, '"Pets, then kids. I'm not going the other way round. I mean, I love kids and all, but a pet plushy or two would be good to prepare for youngsters, and they aren't so high maintenance. But if I do, my family would be awesome. I'd spoil them and love them'."

"Finally, the third contestant gave a very simple and straight to the point reply; 'Family? To be honest, I don't see myself having any kids'." he rested his arms on his knees and grinned at Kiwaro. "Well, we're coming down to the wire now, so pick carefully and take your time to think things over. And just give me that next question when you're ready!" - he was obviously excited to get out of the tuxedo.

Kiwaro heard the first reply and he held his breath for a moment so he could think about it. His mouth opened, but at first, no words came. He laughed again as he looked back up to Rune with a reply. "Man, it's so tough to decide. I honestly, actually, don't mind when I have kids. But to be honest, I actually want them..." the he sighed as he nodded to himself for the verdict.

"I'd have to go with contestant one on this one. Their words just swept me off my feet. Yes, the answers before about traveling would be tough if we had kids of our own. But that would be half the fun of it. I like a challenge." Kiwaro admitted, he always looked up to his parents and enjoyed it (even if he pretended that he didn't) when they had and brought his younger brother into his world. No, Lychee would never be as popular as his older brother. But he loved his family and wouldn't trade them for the world.

He realized just how much he want one now, then his next question came to mind. "Okay, final question time!" he perked up again as he stood up and walked around the room to get a feel for it.

"I.. I think the final question should be..."

"What their life would be like without music and how they feel about music." He stopped and looked over at Rune.

"That was a good last question. So far, the questions have all had a certain meaningfulness to them! There's a lot of compassion in them." he smirked slightly. Okay, this was it. The show was finally coming to an end. How long had it been? It felt like all day, but Rune knew there was no way it had been that long.

"Alright so, the replies are back. Listen carefully! This might determine who that special someone is in your life. Or maybe you two will just be friends, who knows. Either way, here they are! Contestant number one replied with; 'Music? Why, I love music. I even have a favorite note. High C. When I was little, I would make up little tunes, and sing them in the rain. Yes, in the rain. And I loved it. Reminds me of my mother.. My life would be boring without music. Bland, untasteful. Without love'."

He was sure to be extra clear when giving the replies to Kiwaro, and spoke slower than normal. He hoped Kiwaro would make the right choice - while all of the choices were good, only one could be right. Or maybe it was none of these ladies? Only time would tell.

"The second contestant said, 'Well, my favourite kind of Music is Dubstep, but I love Carly Rae Jepsen (not just because of her name). If I lost music, if I never even heard music, my life would have a HUMONGOUS gap in it, especially in my heart. I'd be like, 'Woah, why do I feel so empty' or something'."

Putting the already read papers behind the third and final one, he read over it carefully and let the silence drag on to the point it was suspenseful, but not irritating. "And the final reply, by contestant number three, was... 'Well, I like music. Helps me through a bad day. I don't think I'd be as stable without music, though I must say that I'm still quite the troublemaker. I quite like trouble."

That being said, he eyed Kiwaro, his expression more intense now than it had been previously in the show. "There you have it Kiwaro! Choose carefully."

"Hum, not what I was hoping for in replies... but I do like them... if I had to pick one. I would probably go again with contestant one... so that means we need a tiebreaker... right between contestant one and contestant two?" Kiwaro laughed.

"Okay, I promise this is the last question then... who do you look up to, and why?" He raised an eyebrow as he leaned forward, and waited for Rune to leave and return with the answers. And the winner of the round with his own reply.

"Well, I didn't see that coming! We need a tie breaker. I'll be back in a moment!" he stood, walking away and wearily rubbing his brows slightly as he did so. What a long day. After getting the answers that would break the tie, he came back; only two pieces of paper in hand this time.

"And here it is, the answers that will end this round! Contestant number one's reply was, 'I look up to, and respect, my parents. They saved my life, and gave me life. I wouldn't be here without them. I had a rough childhood, I know they look down at me, from their place among the stars..'."

Then he turned the papers, reading the shortish second reply and smirking slightly as he did so. "And then contestant two replied with - and she was very bashful at doing so, for the record; 'Well, Hiccup, For one. My best friends, for another. And then, well, boys'." he now looked to Kiwaro. "What will it be?"

Kiwaro closed his eyes as he held his arms together in his lap. He looked down before glancing back up opening one eye and grinning. "I think..."

"I'm going to go with contestant number one Rune! I loved the answer from number two, but I couldn't help but feel the cheesiness of the first reply was what I was actually looking for.." He stood now, awaiting to see the lucky winner.

Rune stood up now. "You picked contestant number one! Now the contestants can be revealed. Contestant number three, you first!"

Contestant number three was revealed, and she remained on the stage briefly, before heading off - it was Flour! She seemed happy to be off the show. Her appearance had been unexpected, after all, as the original contestant three had to drop out and she was the only one Rune could get on the show in such a short period of time. Otherwise, it would have had to have been canceled. "Contestant number three was Flour!" he announced, before looking to the next contestant to be revealed.

It was Rae! Rune couldn't tell whether she was relieved or disappointed. Either way, she came in second, and that wasn't bad, right? He didn't think she would mind. It didn't matter though, the last contestant was the most important, as she was the one who had won the game! "Contestant number two is Rae, coming in second place."

Then contestant three showed up next. It was Ice Pop. Rune smiled towards Kiwaro, and hoped they would get along. Though, he had a good feeling about the duo. "Contestant number one is Ice Pop! Congratulations! This concludes this session of TFT: The Dating Game Show. I'm Rune. It's been a good night, thanks for coming!" with that, he left.

Ice Pop awkwardly smiled, not knowing what to say. I won? I wonder if he really likes me... She laughed a little. "That last answer was pretty cheese, huh?" she said, trying to strike up a conversation. But there are still 2 more rounds to go, then Ki would choose, so it is better for Ice Pop not to flirt right now. So she just walked up to Ki, waiting for his reaction.

Kiwaro laughed and wrapped his arm around the blue babe. "Heh, yeah. But that's okay. What's wrong with being cheesy every now and then? Come on, let's get outta here. It's a bit stuffy..." the salmon dragon offered the door as the exited the stage.

Thanks for watching guys 8D let's hope we can do another round sometime soon!

Ice Pop just followed Ki as he wraped his arm around her and headed to the door. She waved to the audiance as she left, then looked back at Ki and said "Yeah, it is a bit stuffy..." Then wondered what the other rounds would be like.
