"Okay then, that's fine with me," She smiled. "Why don't we go walk outside, keep it simple, I don't want to go wrestle any kangaroos, as you said." She stood up, still holding Elijah's hand.

"Like I said, it's different everywhere you go," He tilted his head to one side. "But the way I learned it, which was the South American history, where they worshiped him the most, is when he showed himself to the humans, they thought he was a god. So he went along with it."

~ Dolly ~

Dolly continued flipping through the book even as he was speaking though she was listening, even if it didn't look like she was, she was, she could hear everything he was saying just she didn't always like to look at people when they spoke, sometimes he made her feel quite awkward. When she heard him get off the table he had been sitting on and walk over to a cart with quite a large amount of books on it she closed the book she had in her hand and put it back where she had found it, reminding herself to go and get it later. "I'll help. Not like I have anything else to do.." she said with a nod, walking over to him and picking a book up off the cart, reading the title of it before looking around at all the other books, trying to figure out where it would go, in her human mind it took her a while to figure all this out and put everything together.

Damian laughed softly, glancing over at the book before pointing her in the direction of where the book would go. "They're organized by genre, and then alphabetically within the genres..." he explained easily as he grabbed a handful of books, disappearing off into the library to put them away. He came back into view, riding on the ladder that ran around the edge of the room, so that anyone could reach the highest shelves that were all the way up by the ceiling. He slid a book into place before coming back down the ladder and moving towards her again, flashing a grin at her.

Ash nodded some, clearly intrigued. "That's cool... So it must be hard for you now, to have humans fear you instead of worship you..." she observed, already feeling bad for being so afraid of him earlier. She looked up at him, smiling at him some, as if to say she was sorry for being so afraid earlier. There was a small part of her that wanted to reach up and brush the bit of hair that had fallen into his face away, but she forced herself to remain still.

Evelyn dropped the blanket on the ground and grabbed her clothing. She quickly slipped on her under-garnments and put on her buttoned-down plaid shirt and pants. She looked in the mirror and let down her hair. She opened the faucet and wet her hands, then ran her hands through her long, blonde, wavy hair. She then went on to wash her face. "I wish I had a toothbrush.." She mumbled, smelling her breath. She glanced once more in the mirror, before exiting the bathroom, buttoning up her plaid shirt.

~ Dolly ~

When he explained this Dolly nodded and walked off to go and find the right section for the two books she had in her hand, it took her three or so minutes so find the right place and also to put them in the right alphabetical order. With them two put away she silently headed back to the cart, looking up as she saw him on the ladder, shaking her head with a small laugh "If you fall off that, I'm not catching you." she warned him though her tone of voice was jokey. She turned her back to him, going through a few more books to try and find some that were all to do with the same thing so she could put more then one away at the same time. When he walked towards her she glanced at him over her shoulder as she stacked a few books up in her arms.

Eli smiled. "Fine with me." He echoed, not really noticing. He almost blushed when he noticed her hand was still in his. He was about to lead her out, but stopped. "Uh, would you like some clothing?" He asked, nodding to her nightdress. "There should be a couple dresses in the closet. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but I think the elders though that it might be harder for you to run away in one. I'll see about finding you some pants." He promised.

"That would be great," She walked over to the closet and opened it, examining all the different dresses. "I have to warn you though, I always haven't looked good in dresses, I like skirts more." She picked out a black dress that went down to her knees. "This one is fine."

"No, not really," His mother and father always said that only the original Quetzalcoatl was the only one worthy of being worshiped, but he had a different theory. "The time of worship for Quetzalcoatl and all of his descendants is over, the world has moved on, and we don't mind. It's better that we stay a secret.

"I'm sure you'll look just lovely." He assured her as he walked out to give her some privacy. He closed the door and leaned on the wall in the hallway. He hoped what he said wasn't too forward. Charming came easy. Fiancee for fifteen minuets didn't.

Damian laughed softly and nodded some. "Alright fine... But if you fall, then I will be right there to catch you..." he murmured, flashing a grin in her direction. He grabbed another handful of books and disappeared before she could respond, knowing that she would probably be a bit surprised by his statement. He wanted to do whatever he could to get her to like him, seeing as they would be spending quite a lot of time together in the years to come.

"I suppose that makes sense..." Ash murmured softly as she peered up at him. She was trying very hard to understand him, but it seemed to be getting harder and harder the more she tried. She let out a quiet sigh, letting her gaze drop to the ground, not knowing what else she could say to him right then, especially not with how hard it seemed to be to actually talk to him.

Isabelle quickly got dressed, wishing she had a brush for her rat's nest she called hair. But combing it with her fingers would have to do. "I'm ready!" She called out to Elijah. She looked out th window, this really was a new life, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She had to try to make the best of it, whatever it took to do so.
