"Thanks" He said, applying the mixture onto his large gash. He eventually fell into a slumber, the bleeding slowly until it was barely leeking any blood, just the occasional fresh crimson against the dark dried liquid. Eventually, it stopped. He awoke to the fall of night, and a raging fire from the center of camp. He let out a moan, before sitting upright.

Jordan watched Star as she looked up at the moon and the stars. The only sound right now was soft voices from other places of the island and the fire crackling against the wood. He was hungry and Star seemed to be hungry too. But they could survive one day without much food. Tomorrow he would find some berries and try to build a trap to kill an animal. Jordan looked around the island before glancing at the water. The moon reflected from the water as the water went up and down the sand. It was peaceful.
Jordan looked around again. He heard a moan from afar. Maybe someone was injured. Then there was no sound after the moan. Maybe he had been hearing things since he was still shocked from the cruise being shipwrecked. His mom and his younger sister who was only eight had died on the cruise. It was sad to think that his sister hadn't had more time to live. She was only eight and she had been admitted to a pretty good private school that was expensive on full scholarship. Oh well. That private school wouldn't be getting his sister ever.

Starling heard the moan as well and jumped, sitting up uneasily. Out of the groups of survivors remaining, no one else could die. It'd just be tragic, to make it this far and survive a crash from a boat and then die from blood loss. Sighing lightly, she pursed her lips, crawling to the bowl of water. She picked it up, lifting the grass bowl to her lips. The water that rolled down her throat was slightly warm but quenched her throat. Star set the bowl back down and scooted back over to her seat on the other side of the fire.
She faced Jordan although she was simply warming her palms and pressing them to her cold cheeks. She was so grateful to have a long-sleeve shirt on, but the shorts weren't a help. Her eyes flickered up to her partner in survival and she blinked; he looked so absorbed in thought. "Thinking about something?" Starling asked, warming her palms by the fire again. The only things she had on her mind were food, Jordan, and her twin brother that had gone on the cruise with her and probably died. She hadn't seen him on the island.

Sean sat by the fire, hugging his right leg, mesmorised by the flames licking at the sky. He rested his head against a tree, then looked down to check on his broken left leg. Sean noticed some brown, wirey sort of hairs on the sand next to him. Coconuts. He looked up to see that he was leaning against some sort of palm tree, and a small bunch of ripe coconuts was clustered underneath the shade of the leves. Sean struggled to his feet but managed to get up eventually. He hobbled over to the back of the tree and pressed himself up against it's rough bark. He wrapped his one good leg firmly around the tree and angled his broken leg up so it was in line against the tree. Sean slowly edged himself up the bark; he used to climb trees at home all the time with his friends and brothers. He finally got to the top and began to inspect the coconuts. They looked alright, so he slipped down the tree and grabbed the sharpest stone he could find. Sean edged up the palm tree again and hacked away at one of the coconuts. Within two minutes the coconut dropped to the ground. He slid down the tree again then hopped off when he was about a foot or two off the ground, being sure to land on his good leg. Sean's stomach wound hurt, but he just ignored it. Anyone like coconut? he asked, picking up the strange food and rolled it in his hands. Sean sat down by the fire and dropped the coconut down next to him.tagged ; max. marcus. kyle. beck.

Max looked up as Sean hobbled around, looking intent on whatever he was doing. "Ah...you okay there?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. He sat back down beside her, and she saw what he'd been so determined for. Her jaw dropped. "You found coconuts!" she exclaimed. Slowly, she reached forward and took it in her palms, rolling it in her hands. The heat and salt water combined had left her parched; she'd kill for some water right about then. But if coconut milk was the best she could get, she'd take it. She looked around for a rock, and found one in the sand. She scooped it up, then started scraping at the hairy brown shell before looking up at the boys. Her cheeks flushed pink in the orange light of the fire. "Does anyone know how to open a coconut?"

Sean limped over to Max and took the coconut out of her hands. He smashed it with the sharp stone he had used to cut it from the tree. It didn't do much damage at first, but he finally managed to make a dint in the hard brown shell. Sean smashed it more until a tiny hole appreared. He shook it and only a couple of drops fell out. Sean hit the coconut a little more until the hole opened up a bit, but he couldn't make it any bigger after that. He passed it back to Max, then returned to the palm tree to see if he could get a few more coconuts down for the others.
Sean managed to get the last three down, then dropped from the tree and attempted to smash open the other ones.tagged ; max. marcus. kyle. beck.

Sean walked over to her and took the coconut from her hands, seemingly as hungry as she was. As he hit the coconut with a rock, she took it upon herself to cheer a little. "Go Sean! Smash that coconut!" She realized it might've sounded weird, but she was thirsty, hungry, sleep-deprived, lost on an island, and her wrist was still bleeding. So at the moment, she couldn't care less what she sounded like. "Thanks so much Sean," Max said gratefully when he passed the coconut back to her. She took it in her hands and raised it to her lips, tipping it back until some of the bittersweet coconut milk passed through her lips. "So much better than salt water," she murmured, lowering the coconut and licking her lips. She'd decided to save some for later, because they'd probably all be sharing the boar. As she returned her gaze to the fire to make sure the boar wasn't burning--it wasn't--she wondered where Renee and Ryder were.
