"This was never what we were told this would look like. This is not paradise. We were told that we could live in a special home away from society because we were better then regular humans. More advanced. Better in every way. They said that they would be watching us, testing us. They would put us in paradise. But as I said.... This is not paradise.... This is something else.

In the year 2078, scientists from every country was charged with the task of creating the better human. They were supposed to make humans more advanced; able to survive the hardest enviroments and situations. So they started with the experiments.

Two years after, in 2080, they began to mix animal DNA patterns into human fetuses. When the children were born; they had some human features and the rest were animal. Their personalities and animal insticts were stronger then their looks.

In the same year, scientists began to group together the children that had the animal DNA that told them to live in packs. For example; the children with wolf DNA immediatly began establishing dominance and fighting over food.

After two years of steadily creating children with animal features and animal instincts; they ran into a problem. In the year 2083, the children born had shown no animal features. But the animal's insticts were there. After watching one child for a while; they were shocked to see the child shift into it's animal. The goverment quickly shut the operation down.

Victory Falls. That's were they sent the mutants. They didn't want society to see what they had made. They didn't want the mutants to see what normal beings looked like; nor did they want 'animals' running in the streets.
Victory Falls is a massive reservation. The main city is under a large waterfall moving into a river. The city is basically a few tiny houses here and there that look like log cabins. Inside; it consists of no more than a small kitchen and a bed. No TV, no shower, no fridge, no stove. Nothing.
The rest of the reservation consists of forest. All forest with birds, deer, squirrels, bears, wolves (Normal ones, of course) living in it.
The entire perimeter of Victory Falls is monitored 24/7. Even if you could make it past the electrified fence, there is still the hundreds of guards to consider.

Mutant Types

As said, there is two types of mutants. One which simply has animal features and instincts, and the second, which has animal insticts, no animal features, and the ability to turn into the animal that they had been 'merged' with.


Type Alpha 1 Mutant

Type Alpha 1 is the mutant that was born with animal features and animal instincts; but the rest is all human. For example, if a human had a lion's DNA running through them and was a Type Alpha 1, then they might have retractable claws. They might have a cat's eyes and ears and tail. They may even have fur, but this human's hair color would also be affected by the DNA. If it still had lion DNA; it's hair color would be a pale yellow. This same mutant would also have a lion's instincts. Anything that moved and was helpless to defend itself would be prey, it would sleep all day, and hunt all night.


Type Alpha 2 Mutant

Type Alpha 2 is basically the same as Type Alpha 1 mutant. Except these human are born with much more animal features. Using the same lion example, except now as a Type Alpha 2 Mutant, the human would have fur and canines, along with claws, tail, and ears. Their bone structure may be different, and they might have to walk on four legs, or they could simply be a lion with some human features and walks on two legs. They are, by far, the creepiest mutant in Victory Falls.


Type Beta-Alpha Shifter Mutant

Type Beta-Alpha Shifter Mutant, or TBASM, is the mutant that is basically human except for a few factors. They look human, and they act human. But their personalities are much like their animal's, and they have some animal instincts. And their name says it all. Whatever animal DNA was infused into their's doesn't show up in features, but instead these mutants can turn into their animal. For example, someone with a blue jay's DNA may have a type of personality to be always on watch, and flee at the first sign of danger. Other then the personality, the person can also transform themselves into a blue jay.

Looks: Alex is short, standing at about five foot zero. She has short, spiky auburn hair. She looks fairly human except she has dark black tiger stripes decorating her skin. She also has a cat's eyes with the slit pupil. Her eyes color is amber. She also has a tiger tail and tiger ears.

Looks: River has long, curly black hair and warm golden-hazel eyes. She stands at five foot six inches and her bangs usually cover her eyes completely. She lanky and quite thin, giving her an athletic look.

Personality: Torin is one who races after anything that is small, furry, and fleeing due to the Secratary bird DNA. He hates fights and regularly avoids them. He prefers to be solitary, and stays away from the rest of the mutants.
Looks: Torin has silvery hair that has black streaks in it. His eyes are pure black, even the whites of the eyes, and his face is angular. The only bird resemblance he has is his eyes and the incredibly massive wing span he has. His wings are at least thirty foot from wing tip to wing tip due to the fact that the rest of his body is perfectly human and not built for flight. The only thing he can do with his wings is glide.
