Reference image(s): Click. The refernce isn't quite complete colour-wise; the converts on the wings are black, whilst the secondry and primary fade from blue to red at the tips. The bird legs, maybe you could just draw a few lines like birds have on their legs, or little scales (click). If there's anythign yoou need to ask about him, just shout.
