''how one such as yourself puts up with that fuddy-duddy Shiki is simply awing'' She said, finally dropping down from Zenith's shoulder and changing into her larger Fox form and laying down at Zenith's feet, tail flicking like a low, lazy flame. Zenith smiled looking at the new girl,who seemed to be humming, in the group ''May I asked your name?'' She questioned.

Kini was cut herself off sharply looking at Zenith "Call me Kini" she said with a cheery smile, she jumped slightly landing beck on the fallen tree in a crouch almost as if she were a perched bird or a sitting dog, she gave a quick trot long the length of the tree and back smiling as her green eyes looked toward each of them and then back to Zenith

Shiko shrugged and said. "Well, I guess it....I don't know. It seemed like we knew eachother so it just clicked." He froze and closed his eyes as a beautiful melody rang in the air. What was that? He half opened his eyes and looked at Kini. "Ah, that's what it is. Your soul, it's singing." He softly said as he listened to it more.

''Names Zenith,Though most call me Z'' said the cheetah girl with a bright smile. ''And this is Valkea, Goddess of Fire, My contract''

Kini smiled nodding when ears twitched and she turned her gaze to Shiko blushing slightly, she had no die he could her the tune she had been humming, "wha-you can hear-" she cut herself off and shook her head " i don't want to know the how" she muttered now somewhat embarrassed, she still had no idea where she knew the tune from which didn't help

Azumi

Azumi leaned back against a tree contemplating what she was going to do to day, not that it really mattered. She had arrived in this new world a couple of weeks ago, she pretty much understood how the whole thing worked now; contracts, the kingdom, gods and so on but how she got here still puzzled her, but that was another problem for another day, right now she was hunger.

Shiko tapped his right ear. "I can hear it. Each one of your souls. They have stories to tell, ideas, fear but the most distinctive part is each souls melodies. The melodies change pitch, determining the persons mood, but it's always the same song. Gods are the same." He said , mostly to Kini.

Azumi

Azumi walked along the edge of both forests dead and alive. She lifted her nose occasionally trying to pick up any scent of near by food, finally it rested on what smelled like a market *must be near the kingdom* she thought. she turned in the direction of possible food and began to run, soon she would be able to silence the aching pain of hunger.

"wow" Kini said now looking at her feet, she didn't think she had any special powers other than those being part fox gave her "thats pretty amazing" she said quietly her green eyes seemed dim as she looked at her bare feet, her blonde hair falling over her face

Akeno wandered around the food plaza. He waved hello to people but they just bowed. How sad. He frowned and sighed.

Shiko smiled and said. "Yep! Your melody is very soothing while your god's is more ragged. Kotaru's is rockish. Zenith has a solid melody and her god has a more firery melody. Jun has a nice and very soft melody. Shui has a smooth and clear melody. " He had his eyes closed, listening to the souls.
