Marcus smiled at her. He looked behind him, spotting a few palms. They didn't have coconuts, and Marcus didn't see any. "I don't know, but probably," he said. I mean, it wan island. Odds are there are. "I'm exhausted though, can we find them tomorrow? That boar drained all of my energy out," He said, breaking the word 'tomorrow' in the middle with a yawn. He laughed a bit, rubbing his eyes. He looked down at the fire, watching it cackle. He turned to Max, smiling at her. "Come on, we started a fire! Bring the sweater!" He called to her. The injured boys seemed to have drifted off. {{I think their role players are offline.}} He smiled at her, then back to Kyle. "Oh, you shouldn't lay on it either, that'll hurt-" Marcus paused, laughing and blushing a bit. "That sounded stupid," he grinned, averting his gaze to the flames. They cackled at him, flecks of orange, red, white and yellow flashing at him. He had always been interested in fires. He thought they were pretty.

Kyle looked at Marcus blushing a little but in the dark night and flaming fire you couldn't tell. Kyle sat up she didn't want to be near the girl.She gazed at the stars and started singing something her parents used to do. "This little light of mine." she sang softly. She smiled her face felt like it was on fire. "Do I have sunburn?" she asked Marcus walking over to the fire. She touched her face yes it was hot very hot.She imagined it was bright red.

Personality: Jasmine has a very sweet natured personality, she's very down to earth and kind to everyone she meets. No one has ever seen her mad or upset, and some think it's because she's just good at hiding it. But the truth is she just doesn't get mad, it's not in her to get mad. She's very gullible, and can be quite the clutz. She has a tendency of trusting everyone she meets, which often times proves to be her downfall. When you first meet this unique girl you may find her quite shy, or even socially awkward if you must. But once she opens up to you {which doesn't take long at all} you'll find that she's very honest and loyal, she wouldn't leave her friends sides for the world. She has quite the dry, dirty sense of humor, when her humor does emerge that is. She may appear to be etiquette and dainty, but don't think this girl can't be fun and carefree. She enjoys enjoying herself, and being herself. She's often times too afraid to speak up to defend herself if someone questions her or makes fun of her. So if you don't know her well, you won't know this quality about her... She can be loud, like of you were to turn a stereo on full blast. That loud. But that's only if she's around friends and people she doesn't think would judge her. She definitely stands out of the crowd by the way she acts and dresses, which she doesn't like one bit. She can also be quite the flirt, but also finds it hard to talk around guys she truly likes... She can also be very self conscious, and clingy, but everyone has those bad qualities to them right?

Starling grinned. It was sort of cute how he was asking so many questions, then looked quite anxious when he finished. It was peculiar, actually. No one really paid attention to her before, but maybe he was because she obviously had skill when it came to survival. She wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed on that topic, but she sure did know a lot of things. The previous years of learning Girl Scouts survival didn't really help, although the more artsy stuff like building grass bowls and building shelters were the only things she remembered. Efficient, but not exactly the most efficient when it came to the most important methods of surviving.
"Oh, you can go first," Star answered. "I already drank some from the stream it was at. It didn't kill me, so it won't kill you." An amused grin burst onto her lips as she sat, concentrating on the firewood. She didn't necessarily know what it would take to start a fire, but she knew it wasn't that safe to enter the forest at night. After all, the squeals of animals beforehand suggested there were predators in there. As of now, the humans were probably under the wild carnivores lurking in there, because they had no weapons, just their bare hands.
Starling swiped a lock of hair out of her face as she sat down next to the pile. It was definitely getting colder as the moon rose higher and higher into the sky, so they would need something to cover up with. They could use debris washed up on shore or she could go grab a palm tree leaf that landed on the ground. Oh, how a coconut would taste at the moment. Eyes flitting back to Jordan, she accepted a few of the berries in her palm. Yes, she trusted him with her life, mostly because he most likely trusted hers with his. Popping one in her mouth, the bitter taste burst on her tongue, providing her with a much-needed morsel of food. She needed more, though, to completely fill her stomach. "I learned how to make the bowl in Girl Scouts," she answered. "It's really not that hard, actually. Just weaving and whatnot."
As Jordan asked his next question, she frowned. "We'll probably have to stay on the beach for the night, because neither of us know what lurks in there," she suggested. "The water was easy to find, and so we could definitely build a shelter there. It'd have to be sturdy, though, because with the location in the forest animals probably drink there instead of traveling all the way out to the ocean." Starling wasn't the talkative type of girl, so the long sentences she spoke weren't stammered in one breath. She had to plot out what she was going to say before she said it, summoning a pause before each suggestion.

Max looked over at Marcus and smiled slightly, keeping her wrist hidden from view. If anyone found out what she'd done, they'd hate her and call her a freak. After all, she'd heard it all her life, so why should it be any different here? Not that she didn't love her friends; she did. They were the only ones she could truly trust, after everything she'd been through. She trusted Echo, Marcus and Sean too. But would they hate her if they found out? She desperately hoped not.

As Marcus spoke, she even laughed softly, momentarily forgetting about her wrists, her scars, her troubles. She hugged her knees to her chest and watched the flames as they licked the air. "It's actually beautiful, how something so destructive can be so amazing," she said softly.

The boy nodded to Max. "It is.." He breathed, gazing at the fire. Marcus turned to Kyle, looking at her face. "I can't really tell.." he replied, moving his face closer, so that they were about an inch away. He squinted his eyes, trying not to focus on the bright lights of the fire. "Yeah, pretty bad," he replied, raising his hand to her face. He softly touched her cheek bone, then her forehead. It felt warm and burnt to him. Realizing he must have been hurting her, he quickly tugged his arm back, moving his face away. "Sorry," he said, frowning. "And it does feel burnt.. but did I hurt you? Sorry, I don't know how bad the burn looks or feels..." He asked worriedly.

Marcus turned back to the boar, laughing lightly. "I finally found something I don't know how to do. Cook a boar and bird," he said, turning to Kyle. "Do you know?" He looked at Max. "Do you? I honestly have no idea, I've never been much of a cook," he said, holding his hands up. Marcus was capable of many things. He could heal wounds, and he could lift something pretty heavy, but he was never much of a cook. His mother was, but Marcus never had a very right relationship with his mother. He was always closer to his father, cause after his parents divorced he lived with him, and his younger sister Kaley lived with his mother. They visited each other several times out of the month, but his main home was with his father.
Marcus raised his eyebrows a bit. He had inkling that Kyle and Max weren't going to be the best of friends. He sighed a bit, shaking his head lightly in amusement. They would find a way to get along some point, when their lives depend on each other, there would definitely be something to happen that one would be in a dire situation here she'd need the other. Or, that's how it was in the movies.

Max glanced over at him, trying to ignore Kyle, knowing she hated her. It made her slightly sad, but she attempted to shake it off. The cutting had been done, and there was no point in adding another scar to the collection. "How to cook a boar like this?" she repeated, snapping out of her thoughts. She nodded towards the boar. "Err...I'm afraid not. I can make a mean macaroni and cheese though." She chuckled softly and nudged Marcus's shoulder with her own. Cooking had never really been one of her strong points.

Jordan took the bowl carefully from Star and made sure to put his finger on the small hole on the bowl. He gulped down the water and savored the clear, cool taste. He grinned at her. "Thats good, I wouldn't want to drop dead." He said smirking looking at Star. Jordan grabbed the firewood and placed it in a pile. He took two sticks and rubbed them together until he found a spark. It came brighter and larger until it went across the pile of sticks. He could see other fires so at least everyone was settling in and getting used to the island. Jordan hadn't really met anyone but Star and the girl who had her arm stuck in the lawn/beach chair. He really needed to meet more people.

Jordan hadn't really found any meat yet, but oh well. He would find some tomorrow. Star looked a little cold, but the fire was a big help to himself. Jordan did have a sweater on, but then he wasn't sure if he wanted to give it to Star. He smelled the aroma of cooking meat. If only he could have some of that right now.
