Dolly made her way back to the bed and sat down on the edge of it as she completely silently watched everything that went on. Her face drained of all colour it ever had possessed when he shifted and she silently just looked at him..well..it that was in the room. She said nothing though, just silently watching and waiting, waiting to see what it would do, if anything. Her green eyes completely fixed on the creature though, refusing to look away from it though she didn't scream or run as far away as she possible could from it, she just watched and waited.

"Whatcha do to tick them off?" She huffed. She finally let the blanket fall from her shoulders and she sat on the edge of the bed. It was... Quite a bit to take in. "What now?" She croaked in a worn voice, like someone who hadn't spoken in a while. "I just act like nothing happen and become a housewife?" She brushed her case of bedhead away from her face, the oak waves falling limply from her head.

Damian spread his wings wide, as though showing off. He looked a bit like a dragon, until you looked down and saw his serpentine body coiled beneath him on the floor. His armored scales rippled a bit in the light, almost like muscles. He finally shifted back to his human form, pulling his shirt back on over his head as he moved towards her on the bed, his eyes gentle. "That's what I am..." he murmured gently, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking over at her.

Once he had shifted back Dolly still kept her eyes fixed on him, like she wasn't sure if he could change back at any given second without a warning. When he sat on the edge of the bed she finally spoke "You don't scare me..much" she managed to mumbled, shaking her head. "I mean..yeah..it's like...slightly weird and your kinda tall like that but..you know." she shrugged "Your kinda like a snake..with wings? Just..you don't have that shiny slimy look to you?" she suggested, not quite sure how else to describe what she had just seen, after all it had shocked her quite a lot really more then scared her. "I mean...your still part human at the end of the day, I guess with human emotions that's what counts.." her voice trailed off as she became lost for words really.

Damian chuckled softly, but the sound was sad as he looked over at her. "That is my true form, Dolly... This is mainly a... charade... I suppose that's what you could call it," he murmured with a bit of a shrug. "The Quetzalcoatl is an ancient Winged Snake God, though any nowadays are just descendants of the ancient one..." he explained, knowing that she deserved at least somewhat of an explanation as to what he was. He sighed, looking over at her, a bit impressed by her lack of reaction, though he knew that deep down she had to be at least somewhat afraid.

Silently, Dolly listened to the explanation, nodding now and then just to show she was listening to him, after all the more she knew..the better..right? "Yeah well at least you can look human.." she mumbled quietly to herself, glad he didn't just stay in that form forever otherwise that really would have been horrible, more then that in fact, unbearable. "There's really not much else I can say to that.." she whispered, also looking over at him "I mean..I don't know what to say..it's not everyday I'm being told I'm in a arranged marriage..to a part human part..whatever it's called." she stood up and stretched "Though people always say it's better to just face things then run away from them? After all isn't it something like you can run but you can't hide? Fate catches up with you in the end" she shrugged, not really sure if those were the sayings though she knew it was something along those lines, of course, even if she was agreeing to it, didn't mean she was happy about it, of course not, she was anything but happy about it really she just didn't want to cause any tension between them both and make things even more awkward then they already were.

Evelyn closed her eyes, then moved closer to him. She rested her head on his chest, the thud of his heart seemed to relax her. She sighed happily. "I'm glad I was forced into marriage.." She whispered.

Jesse again ran his hand through his hair, it was a habit of his. "This is pointless. Why do I have to be married to a stupid human?" Jesse paced back and forth in the living room, trying to calm down.

Josh smiled a bit and wrapped both arms around her. He kissed the top of her head lightly and brushed the hair away from her face. "I'm glad you're happy.." He whispered. He never would have thought it would be as easy as this, but he was happy it was and that she accepted him.

Elena rolloed over and looked at him sleepily. "Don't leave..please..." She didn't want to be alone because she thought something would happen. She felt safe with him and wanted him to be close.

Damian shook his head again, letting out an exasperated sigh. "I'm not part anything," he grumbled, looking over at her. "What you saw is what I am, this is just what we can do to help us blend in a bit, but there isn't anything human in me..." he murmured, really needing her to understand this and stop comparing him to humans. "And no, you really can't run... It's not like you have anywhere to go to... But I promise, no harm will come to you if I have anything to say about it..." he added after a moment, his gaze cold, even a bit cruel as he looked over at her, still rather annoyed by the fact that he was being forced to be with a human girl and that she didn't understand the fact that he was nothing like her.

Evelyn opened her eyes and looked up at him, she didn't quite want to sleep yet. She gazed into his eyes for a brief moment, before brushing her lips against his in a small, soft kiss.
