A very small smirk suddenly tugged on Tristan's lips. He'd made her angry -very angry, actually - and he knew that angry people made silly mistakes. There was another possible advantage to him. Kagome swooped from Haruka's shoulder and into a battle position. "Bring it on - we'll wipe the floor with you." Tristan grinned, "Stay firm, Cobalt." Tristan said quite calmly, watching Kagome move swiftly. As he predicted, the Pikachu was swift; the little Pokemon used Quick Attack, which dealt next-to-no damage. He smiled with satisfaction. The dizzy trick worked for about two seconds, until Cobalt realized what Haruka was trying to do and prepared himself for the hit - which was actually just a tap against his steel armor.
"You'll need to pound Cobalt harder than that, Haruka!" Tristan smirked as Kagome bounced off Cobalt. As soon as Haruka called out her next attack, Tristan nearly burst into a fit of laughter. Silly girl. Cobalt could feel the vibrations under his feet, and as soon as Kagome burst up from the underground, Tristan yelled, "Use Earthquake!"
Cobalt was hit, but again, the attack dealt little damage. "Lai-ron!" Then, as soon as Kagome's paws touched the ground, it began to shake fiercely. The ground around the Pikachu cracked and dropped away, rock flinging itself up from the ground. Tristan himself stumbled slightly at the overwhelming power - he was hardly used to the attack, even though the Lairon had been using it for quite a while. Like Tristan, Kagome stumbled, and Tristan saw an opening. "Heavy Slam!" he yelled, as Cobalt leaped into the air and slammed directly on top of Kagome, crushing the Pikachu. The earthquake subsided, and to Tristan's delight, the shaking earth had meant that Kagome couldn't dodge quick enough. Her grip on Rapid's reins slackened slightly as she gave a deep breath. Spook appeared by her side, and Swift came sprinting back to her. "I'm really sorry," Hanna said in finality, giving herself a slight shake, "I'm Hanna, and you.." she trailed off, peering at the boy. Rapid's flaming body provided good enough light, so she could see the boy's face quite clearly.
"Hey, I know you!" she grinned, giving a slight laugh, "I saw you battling in the Pokemon League when it was on television a while back - you're Callum, right?" Hanna raised an eyebrow slightly, as Rapid flicked her tail. She had remembered watching a lot of people challenge the Pokemon League, screaming at the television in frustration when her favorite contestants lost, shrieking in joy when they won. Her parents found this to be quite hilarious. "Jolt!" Swift added, as if to confirm her thoughts.
Yes I'm alone - but I'm alone and free.

Icy blue eyes widen in horror as the two act's hit dead one. She hadn't moved an inch during the earthquake, she used this attack with Oki a good bit when she was in a jam, so the black hair girl had taught herself to place her feet apart to better absorb the impact of shaking ground. As Kagome hit the ground and didn't move she ran over "Kagome!" Dropping to her knee's she pick up the Pikachu, a worried expression on her face as she gentle nudge the mouse pokemon. "Kagome? Are you alright?" A first Kagome didn't move, making Haruka slightly panic, until her eye twitch and she let out a small "Pikaaa?" Sighing in reilfe she stood back up and pull out her blue and white lighting bolt poke ball, and return Kagome. "You did great, we'll show them your true power on a better playing field." Storing her poke ball back into her kimono sleeve she gave a blank stare at Tristan. She bow her head as she talk softly to herself "I should know better....to let my anger get in the way. Because of that Kagome...But now I know.." She turn her head to her growling pokemon who was shaking in anger at the site of his partner getting throw around like a rag doll. Most of the time she placed her pokemon with 'partners' for all of the contest she battled in. Oki and Ammy, Cloud and Aerith, and Inuyasha and Kagome. Each pair played with the others strengths and covered their weakness. Making them a powerful opponents. So it made sense that Inuyasha a livid, but not at her. "Inuyasha." A grunt was the reply. A calm expression now lit her face as she motion at the battle field with a swipe of her kimono. "Please help take care of this unsightly trash~" Lucario gave a arrogant smirk as he leap forward and eased his legs apart. Haruka pointed her hand out to Tristan's pokemon again, a small smile on her face. "Use Aura Sphere!"
"Luuuuu, gaw!" As he pushed his two paws together, a small ball of white and blue light appeared in between, getting larger till he leap into the air and fling it at Lairon. It hit dead on, like all of Inuyasha's attack's. Since Lairon was both a steel and a Rock type, the move Aura Sphere, which was a fighting type, would deal four times the damage. Inuyasha landed on the tree tops, knowing to stay well off the ground in case of another earthquake as he watch the dust settle down. His arms crossed over his chest as he gloated. "Lucario, Lu!"

Flora
Artemis
Apollo
Vulcan
Godzilla
TeslaA moment later, Maria came sprinting out of her cabin. She stopped, turned around, and waited for her pokemon to find their way through the door. The smaller pokemon made it out easily; Artemis had some trouble navigating around the enclosed space, but she was out third. Flora had to flatten her flower against her neck before she dared. It was a tight squeeze, but it worked.
Apollo was the real problem. It wasn't his height, as one might think; he was barely five feet. It was his horns and wide shoulders. They blocked his way through the door. And, just as this was happening, Maria could see another girl nearby, "You know what?" She called to Apollo, "I can fix this." But he didn't hear her. Instead, he backed up five feet, then rammed the door and blasted it wide open. He jogged over to his trainer, beaming. Maria just sighed and started walking towards the other girl. She was way down at the end of the row of cabins, and by the weird pokemon, Maria assumed the farthest one was her cabin.
"HEY!" She called and waved to the girl.

"Counter with Shadow Claw!" Tristan shouted as Haruka sent her Lucario into battle. Kagome had fainted, and Tristan was well-pleased. The Lairon raised a dark, glowing claw and slashed as the Aura Sphere spun at frightening speed towards him. The explosion resulted in Cobalt being tossed to the ground with a deafening screech, his firm shell digging into the ground as he was blasted away from the impact. The worst of the attack had been negated, but the Lairon grunted and struggled to stand.
"Enough, Cobalt - take a rest." Tristan said firmly, clicking open the Pokeball and returning Cobalt. So that was how she wanted to play? "Sora, you're up." he called the Flygon, who immediately swooped to his side. "Spook that Lucario - use Flamethrower."
Sora flew up near the trees, fire blasting from her mouth. She set the entire tree that Inuyasha on fire; the fire was so strong it blazed and licked the wood, engulfing it. "Flyyy-gon!" Sora called, shooting fire balls at Inuyasha in determination. Tristan gritted his teeth - no way was that thing going to wipe out Sora. In Hoenn, he supposed that the equivalent to Lucario would be a Medicham, and he strongly remembered battling a lot of those - he'd use some techniques and combinations from those battles to win this one.
He had been watching Haruka very, very carefully. She was like most co-ordinators; using their moves for beauty over power. In contests, beauty was more important than strength, you couldn't just throw out any random attacks.
Yes I'm alone - but I'm alone and free.

Haruka's hair whipped around from the blast before settling down. Her mood rose at the site of Cobalt struggling to stand up from the attack. She almost laughed when Tristain sent out Flygon. She thought as much. But not to worry she had trained Inuyasha to battle all types. In fact she almost giggled as the dual type sent a burst of flames after her Aura Pokemon. "Dodge it!"
Dodging attack was well practice in contest, so Inuyasha had no trouble dodging the fire ball's flinging this way and that, even doing a cartwheel. Even when some of the flame's lick his blue fur it did little damage. She spun in a small circle, know getting in her 'element'. "I must admit that your Flygon is very strong." Haruka lifted her finger and shook it at the boy as she teasley scold. "But you see, Inuyasha knows other types of moves. Inuyasha!" Grinning, the Lucario gave another flip in the air, as he cut his red eyes to Haruka, ears twitching. "Use Dragon Pulse!" She took in delight the expression on Tristan's face. Oh yes she was a co-ordinator by heart. But what most people fail to see was that not only did your attacks have to have grace, but power too.
Inuyasha grunted as she pushed himself off the ground in into the air, at eye level with Sora. Smirking he crossed his arms and spun, a ring of purple spinning in time with his body till Inuyasha uncrossed his arms with a roar. The Dragon pulse explode, covering the field and Sora too. It always amused the dark hair girl that Dragon pokemon were weak to their own attacks.

Haruka's laughter made his eyes narrow. The Lucario was quick, but so was Sora - Haruka was in for a surprise when her speed came into play. He really should have suspected that dodging would be an easy way out of the flaming spheres flung at the Lucario. "I think you underestimate us." Tristan replied as she practically insulted his intelligence. "Did you really think that I wouldn't be prepared for people to throw Dragon attacks at us?"
Because, as the Dragon Pulse shot across their playing field, Sora had easily evaded the attack by using a rather sneaky evasion technique. She had dove off her perch in a tree and directly towards the ground. She'd used Dig, completely evading the Dragon Pulse. Now that she was underground, there was no way for Lucario to follow her. "Flame Breath, Sora!" Tristan called, an absolutely smug smirk obvious on Tristan's lips. The smoke from the impact of the Dragon Pulse lingered for a few seconds longer, and suddenly, Sora had broken out of the earth at starling speed.
A combination of Dragon Breath and Flamethrower immediately shot through the smoke and engulfed the Lucario, the attack a sheer blasting stream of fire, so hot that it was blue.

Zach Swanhild - ♂ - 16
Pokemon on Hand
- Alder - Male - Quiet
- Ebony - Female - Impish
- Ash - Male - Careful
- Rowan - Female - Sassy
- Willow - Female - Calm
- Hornbeam - Male - Adamant
As soon as she had gotten out of the stormy weather in the mountains, Ebony started to come at ease and soared with the thermals, minimising wing flaps. It was a long journey, all the way to an isle of the coast of Hoenn, and getting worn out quickly wasn't an option. The dark bird swooped through the sky, a shadow gliding just below the contrasting white clouds. As she came to fly over some forest land, Ebony considered sending out a cry to attract some Murkrow over for company. Her twittering prevolutions were useful enough, but their company wasn't good at all. Distracting, yes, but their bickering when in large groups was more than enough to make her lash out. Yes, it wasn't worth it. With her decision, the large raven Pokemon launched herself over the forestland with a few flaps of her wings and came to soar over an expanse of Moorland.
After what seemed to be two days of flying and no breaks, a small patch of green appeared on the horizon. Flying over the sea was fine to start with, but it became boring pretty rapidly. In the rare occasion that Zach managed to glimpse a Milotic or something equally big, it was from very much afar and it wasn't much of a spectacle. Especially since it was pretty dark and well into the night, the meagre light the moon provided hardly illuminated a passing Pokemon. It did make the sea pretty however, and there were no annoying Wingulls swooping past them and making a terrible racket. The Isle was a very welcome sight and it wasn't long after spotting it that they arrived. Ebony was normally a slick flier and neat when coming into land, but her apparent tiredness combined with the slippery pebbles of the beach made it more messy than normal. The raven's scaly black feet slipped under her, the sound of scraping wet rocks accompanying the somewhat defeated bird. Steadying herself, Ebony gripped on the slippery stone and tried to stand tall as Zach jumped nimbly off her back. She was obviously exhausted, but managed to keep her eyes open and smile triumphantly at her trainer. "Good work, girl. Get some rest, you'll need it..." he patted her soft, feathered back, flicking out her Pokeball and returning her back in a soft red light.
"Muurk..."
Tired himself, because doing nothing was strangely the number one thing that made someone tired, Zach walked across the pebble beach and listened to the crunching of the wet rocks under his feet. The stretch of stone bordered a thickly vegetated forest, which leaned out over the sparser beach. The sounds of night-Pokemon emanated from the forest, and Zach recognised almost instantly the bell-like sound Kricketot's made in Sinnoh and the croaking of a Croagunk. They were almost drowned out by the foreign, peculiar sound of other Pokemon but were the most prominent noises to him.
After a while of walking, Zach came across a strange-looking sign which requested him to confirm his invitation to the Isle by scanning in the small black disc he was provided. After proving himself to be invited, he was instructed by the same pink-haired girl from earlier to follow the path to the side of him. Sure enough, a lamp guided dirt path extended out nearby. Leaving behind the roaring of a somewhat stormy sea, Zach followed the path and hoped there wouldn't be any unnecessary meetings between all the guests of the island, or any late-night instruction sessions.
After a short while, a rustic yet pretty stone clearing popped up, surrounded by five wooden cabins which he assumed would be where he would live for a while. There was also a Pokecenter with a faded red roof, which was instantly where he headed for. Zach could hear the sounds of a battle raging on somewhere near, but had no intention of even looking in that direction. How could people even be fighting after journeying so far? Shrugging it off, he sauntered through the Pokemon Center's sliding doors and hoped yet again there wasn't any meetings.

As combination of Dragon Breath and the Flamethrower immediately shot through the smoke and engulfed Inuyasha, the attack a sheer blasting stream of fire, so hot that it was blue. The Aura pokemon grunted as he fell to the ground, body glowing in an angry red from the flames. Haruka only shook her head as Inuyasha forced itself back up. Over the pants of Lucario to Tristan she called out. "Then you should know that I myself have an ace up my sleeve too. Inuyasha, Heal Pulse!" A soft pink glow engulfed Inuyasha as he keeled, circling around him, blue fur gently swaying back and forth. Burn's and singed fur dissipated as if they never happened. Inuyasha's red eyes snapped back open as he stood up and ready himself, completely healed.
It seems we'll have to get closer...I'll have to use that move, right Inu? As if sensing her thoughts, Inuyasha let out a small growl, rolling his shoulders. She spun around and called out "Let's go!" Inuyasha lunged forward, dodging Sora's fire blast, left and right. Leaping into the sky he slammed his black paw into the green dragon's chest. "Force Palm!" A bright light cover both pokemon as the attack hit. As they push each other away, Haruka called out again "Use Dragon Pulse, and make it stronger with Shadow Claw!" Inuyasha flipped though the air, the familiar purple ring covering his body, before it exploded out his paws glowed a dark purple as shadow claw came into affect. Inuyasha hit the Dragon Pulse with his claw's, causing it to look more like a Dark Pulse, as it twisted around his body casting shadow's over his blue fur.
"Lucarioooo Carri!" The combo move exploded from his body and was launched at Sora, covering her in a light of dark purple lights, swirling around her as she cried in pain.

Jinora;
She grinned as another newcomer entered the Pokemon Center; Zach, from Sinnoh. "Hey there!" she beamed, "I'm Jinora - I'll take you to your cabin!" she chirped, leading the way outside yet again, gesturing for him to follow her. She walked towards the fourth cabin, which was the Sinnoh one, and opened the door. "Okay, this is your cabin - you'll share with the Sinnoh girl, Haruka. I'm not sure where she's wandered off to, though." Jinora shrugged with a grin, "Well, I'll leave you to settle in!" and with that, she skipped from the cabin, giving Zach a wave, and heading back to the Pokemon Center.
What Tristan needed was a direct hit - preferably a powerful one. Heal Pulse might only revive 50% of Lucario's health, but he needed to deal more damage than that. Haruka acted as if this was so glorious, such a fabulous 'trick' that he didn't see coming - which, honestly, he didn't really. In actual fact, he has suspected that something like this would happen, and he was perfectly prepared for it. Sora shrieked in fury, her usually jolly nature disappearing. Now, she was going to wipe that smirk right off that Haruka girl's face...
The Dragon Pulse and Shadow Claw were both negated as Sora used the Flamethrower and Dragon Breath combination again, without command from Tristan. Flurries of dark sparks and flames showered around Sora as she gritted her teeth, fleeing to the cover of the trees. Up here, she was move difficult to see, as she blended in very well against the vegetation. Suddenly, the Flygon burst from the trees when she was sure that she wasn't going to be hit by Lucario again. She dived to the ground before Haruka could shout for Lucario to attack.
Tristan smiled, knowing his Pokemon's strategy. They'd done it countless times, but it was more of a game than anything. Everything was still, but only for a few moments. To confuse their target, Sora burrowed around under the ground. Then, at the first opening, Sora burst up from the ground, and shot one of her attacks at her target. The first attack to be shot at Lucario was a defiant flamethrower. To Tristan's amusement, Sora dived back under the ground without waiting to see if her target was hit. She repeated this strategy multiple times, using Flamethrower or Dragon Breath.
Yes I'm alone - but I'm alone and free.

Teala - Careful

Zeus - Jolly

Dawn - Gentle

Iris - Modest

Fleet - Sassy

Scorch - Quirky
She knew his name? Yes he had completed the pokemon league and been on TV but he really hadn't expected anyone to be able to put his name to his face, he just didn't feel like he was famous enough for someone to know him when he didn't know them, that was what it was like for celebrities but not him. He was just a trainer from a rather poor background who happened to be good.
Realizing that he should reply but wasn't, he stopped staring into space and focused his attention back on the girl. He searched through his mind to see if he knew her name but he didn't, he didnt have a good enough memory to remember the names of people he saw on the pokemon league on TV. He didn't watch it much as well.
"Yes, I'm Callum. I'm sorry but I don't remember your name."
He said this with a smile, tilting his head slightly as he had a habit of. His brothers sometimes teased him about this but, well, who could have 3 older brothers and end up not being teased? Another tease had been shorty, that was true about Callum though. He was short for his age and stocky.
Have you ever felt that warm glow inside you? The one which makes you feel like you could overflow with happiness and affection for your world. I get that feeling everyday, every hour, I make the best of what I have and see beauty in everything. You look at me or whisper behind my back, calling me strange. Strange may be your word for me, but my word for me is happy. Some may think I am sad and lonely but in my mind I soar free and am full of happiness and calm. You may call me strange or a nerd or a geek but I have a purpose and it is to SOAR.
TO BE FREE AND HAPPY, UNIQUE AND YOUR OWN PERSON IS TO LIVE
I am proud to be this girl
I'm leaving, all my pets are being randomly given to people or to adoption centres
