"Alright, would you like to 'announce' it or shall I?"

I laughed softly. "I will," I offered, stepping out into the room. "Hey guys, Alex and I are goin' out for a while; we'll be back later."

Andrew gave a thumbs-up.

:Reagan:

I slowly awoke, yawning softly.

[Spock and Kirk]

"Have a nice time," I offer, smiling. Ahw. Now I think I understand.

Alex slipped his (mostly empty) wallet into his pocket and flung his coat over his shoulder, just in case. "Thanks!" he said cheerilly, before opening the door for Zoey. "How far away is it? Walking distance?" he asked her, closing the door behind him.

:Zoey:

I smiled. "No problem!" I replied, then stepped out into the hallway. "Why thank you!" When he asked how far away it was, I shrugged. "Just a couple miles, but we're gonna have to take a bus. It's okay though, I brought enough for bus fare." I pulled out a few dollars from my pocket.

Alex nodded. "Alright."

I smiled and nodded, then turned. We walked downstairs and to the bus stop at the corner.

Alex slowly took his hand in hers, looking around nervously as his face reddened slightly.

I glanced down at our hands and smiled to myself, then glanced around for the bus.

"So, umm, how many people are here, including the two that just left?" I ask.
