I looked from side to side patting my great horse's neck. I then turned and looked at the area where the reaping was held. I dismounted my Westphalian stallion and stood at the back holding the soft leather reins. My hands started to
struck numb and I was in serious pain in my leg where I had been shot a couple of weeks ago. I looked at Marine. I stared
into his dark hazel and eyes and said, "It's OK boy. Nothing's going to happen to us. If we do get picked, we will ride our way through the games and win, OK? You can do it boy. You're strong, brave and cunning. No-one can stop us. You're a War Horse OK? You've been through fights with father. You can do it for me. Just me." Tears started running down my face like a waterfall. Nothing was more frightening than going off to the Capitol and you and your horse getting killed by some pathetic weasels. I then thought, We're gonna win no matter what. We're gonna try for Father. Me and you are going to win for father.

I pawed the ground in anger and frustration. What's a six-year-old Westphalian stallion like me gonna do in that hell zone.
It's wrong! I might of been able to get through a war with his father but that's different. There was a whole army helping. This time, it was just me, Morgan, and a girl and another horse. I was the strongest horse in this place but there will be horses stronger than me in the games. I can still beat them. I'm going to win for Morgan and his father Robert.
