Stormpaw bounded out of the apprentice den and looked around. She ran over to Shadowheart. "Hey hey hey! Can we train!?" She crouched down in a recent hunting position she had learned, only two days ago, and leaped on top of him. "Please!"

Birdpaw perked up immediatly and sprung onto his feet, whispy fur all fluffed out. "Oh yes please!" He mewed excitedly, shifting his weight from paw to paw excitedly, dark brown eyes wide and focused on his mentor. His tail tip began to quiver in excitement of going out and doing something, maybe he could hunt some leaves if their were any around! After training, he had to remind himself several times through his excitement, perfectly aware of how easy it was for his attention to catch on something else.

Stormpaw bounded out of the apprentice den and looked around. She ran over to Shadowheart. "Hey hey hey! Can we train!?" She crouched down in a recent hunting position she had learned, only two days ago, and leaped on top of him. "Please!"

Shadowheart sighed and grunted when the small gray apprentice landed on him. "Fine..." He rolled over quickly, dragging her down and pinning her under his paws. "Seems like you need it," He added with a victorious smirk. He stepped off and flicked his tail, smile disappearing. "The training hollow will be crowded, so we're going to the abandoned twoleg nest." He padded casually out of the thorn tunnel, barely making a sound as he treaded through the forest.

"Oh yah! Lets go!" She bounded over to him and past him.

The lithe tom sighed and ran after Stormpaw. "I'm getting out of shape... Better volunteer for more patrols," Shadowheart commented to himself. With a burst of speed, he shot past his apprentice and veered off to the right. Then he took a separate route, a shortcut, to the twoleg nest and scrambled quickly up on of the rotting frame supports and hid in the rafters. He waited silently for Stormpaw to catch up.
