Rynn hummed a song quietly as she opened her locker. She pulled out a book and let out a squeal as Alex grabbed her around her waist and spun her. Laughing, she pulled back out of his grasp. "Are you TRYING to kill me?!" she squeaked loudly. Alex grinned at his best friend. "Yup. I want my best friend in all of the world dead. Me causing her death. Now how would that look on my reputation?" Alex countered, raising his eyebrows. "What reputation? Oh, I know, your imaginary one!" Alex rolled his eyes and held out his arm, gentleman style, to Rynn. "Come on, Rynn, let's get our selves out of the school before the teachers deem it a good day to give us detention." Rynn laughed, slipped her arm through his, and the two walked out of the school, just as the last bell rang for the day.

Grace literally sprinted out of the classroom as the final bell rang; grabbing her bag and weaving through the desks to the door. First out into the corridor, she headed straight for her locker and dumped the books in. She needed to get out of school, it made her feel trapped like a caged bird. She brushed her coal-black, almost blue hair from her eyes and gently closed the locker, walking towards the door.

Scarlet stood at her locker putting away her books, neatly. She was so glad school was over for the day as she hated sitting in classrooms. Closing her locker Scarlet fastened her red jacket and began to walk down the corridor heading for the exit and freedom.

Alex froze.. "Wait! I think I left my backpack in the office!" He let go of Rynn's arm and darted back to the door. He, not seeing the girl exiting, crashed into her, falling backwards.

Grace yelped in surprise as Alex crashed into her, stumbling backwards into a locker. Her bag slipped off her shoulder and fell to the ground, the contents going in all directions across the floor. "Sorry!" She gasped, smoothing down her hair and looking up at him.

Alex smiled at the girl. "Thanks. I'm Alex. Hey, aren't you in my Computer Two class? You're Grace, right?" He picked up her stuff and put it back in her bag. "And, no biggie. It was my fault. Doors, walls, and floors seem to like my face."

Grace nodded mutely, surprised that he knew her name. She mostly tried to keep to herself; being slightly shy. Laughing at his later comment, she added, "I know the feeling, don't worry." She took back her bag and peered inside, scanning the contents for anything that could have skidded under a locker.
