Jace got in the car easily, sighing as he leaned back, putting his arms behind his head and closing his eyes. He reveled in the warm air blowing over him from the vents and smirked, reaching forward to switch the radio to a station he knew would drive Alexander up the wall. Sometimes, The boy just loved to do things to annoy other people, just to get a reaction. But if asked, he would stop. He wasnt overly annoying.
He was opening the door and unbuckling before the car had stopped, something he had a habit of doing. He was stepping out asks Alexander cut the engine, and headed to the store with long strides, not really waiting for Alexander- he wanted to be out of the cold as quickly as possible, and his fellow werewolf could catch up quickly anyway. He stepped inside just to see a shocking display take place, stopping abruptly....

Ari tentatively reached for a juicy red apple, her mouth watering at the very thought if biting into it. Just as her hand closed around it and was pulling it back so she could go pay as she felt a strong hand clamp onto her wrist. "What do you think you're doing?" a voice roared in her Rae, and she blanched, the apple falling and rolling to a stop a few feet away, at the feet if a now staring crowd. However, no one seemed to do anything.
"I-I was going t-to b-buy an app-apple," she stammered, trying to pull her arm away from the man holding it, but he just tightened his grip painfully, making Ari's eyes water.
"You honestly think I'll believe a wretch like you can pay for that apple?" the man sneered, and it was true. Ari's clothes consisted of sopping wet- but drying- t-shirt and shorts. She didn't have anything else, but she reached into her pocket with shaking hands to pull out a jumble of coins, holding them out silently, with wide pleading eyes, making them ink with the shaking off her hand.
The man, probably the manager looked at them with a keen eye before knocking her hand away, scattering coins everywhere. Tears burned Ari's eyes, and she sniffled as her hand was released roughly.
"You think I'm a fool? Are you stupid?" the man spat, his eyes burning in rage, Ari cowering away from him. "Pick them up! And the apple! I'll keep the change for all the trouble you've caused me." He was practically yelling at the thin, rather tall girl that was forced to her knees to pick up the scattered change. Her hair was jet black, almost to her waist. She had dark skin, and piercing green eyes, and now had tears streaming down her pretty face.

Rose nodded with a small shurg, unable to talk since she held the handle of her spoon in between her lips, filling two cups with milk and putting them in the microwave. She shrugged, turning to lean against the counter and studying the other boy. "Well, you looked miserable, so... I couldn't just leave you outside. It seems as if it is going to snow hard soon though, I just looked at the weather... So if you don't want to be stuck here or somewhere else you might wand to head home." Again, she just shrugged, looking like it didn't matter much. And really, it didn't. Maybe she was abit too trusting, but he didn't seem harmful. She turned and reached up to take out the two cups as it beeped loudly in her ear, andset them both down on the counter, pressing her now very hot fingers to her jeans in an attmept to cool them. "I'll let you get your own amount of chocolate..." she said, and slid his cup and the chocolate powder with a spoon across the small island counter after she had prepaed her own. She moved across the kitchen as she waited for it to cool, looking down at the dog who had kept up an insistent whining the whole time. "Put your feet up fif you don't want them licked and possibly chewed on," she warned before opening the gate. The dog immedialty gave a loud and happy bark, sprinting into the kitchen, but slipping and sliding on the tiles, running straight to Skye, his tongue lolling out as he jumped, putting his feet on the chair, obviously wanting attention. His whole body shook as he wagged his tail, panting and whining.

Cold, freezing cold... It had been an incredible stupidity to go out in the snow. Maisy trudged along, pushing aside the perfect white snowdrifts as she clomped along in her heavy boots. She worked at a mechanics so she'd gotten steel toe capped boots so if she dropped stuff she wouldn't end up with crushed toes - useful. Yet when it was cold, steel gets cold too. She lifted the bag back up onto her shoulder, for extra money she delivered papers, and was seriously hating that the snow meant she couldn't ride her bike without fear of falling off it when running over an icy patch. She knocked on the next door, amadant to deliver papers so they wouldn't get soaked. This house didn't have a letterbox big enough for the Christmas edition of the newspaper and she didn't want to leave the paper to get soggy.

Alex locked the car and headed towards the warm supermarket, eager to step inside. He stopped next to Shay and tilted his head to the side as he watched the scene unfold. "Smells like... A werewolf..." He mumbled under his breath, before adding; "I'll distract, you show us some of this kindness that you're hiding somewhere oh and get the getaway car sorted." He passed the car keys to Shay before freeing a cart from the group near the doorway, then smiling at Shay in a childish manner. "Never try this at home kids!" Perhaps if Alex had a brain he wouldn't have done what happened next. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ZOMBIES!" He raced into the supermarket with the cart, and started filling the cart with anything he could grab. "QUICK STOCKPILE FOOD!"

Jace glanced to alexander, about to stop him. He could think of ten easier way to do things, but, well... it was Alex. He shook his head and rolled his eyes at the commoton he caused, but dropped to his knees and slid forward, comng face to face with the firl. "We're like you, come with me," he said, trying to look friednly,, but it wan't a look he pulled off well. He was surprised with the fear she reacted to him, here eyes widening and her scrambling back. With a sigh, he reached ot and wrapped a firm hand around her wrist, pulling her to her feet. They needed to get out quickly, and this was the easiest way he saw to do it. "Let's go," he muttered, pulling her along despire her strugglings.

Ari was picking up the last of the coins before a rough voice very near to her ear made her jump, spilling them from her hand once more. She looked up to find herself face to face with a rather nice looking boy with an odd expression. She balked, scrambling backwards. Nice looking boys like that spelled trouble, but his statement that he was like her made her think a moment. What did he mean? Like her as in werewolf? Or on the streets? She gasped as she felt his hand close onto her wrist, sending her nito a panicked- but silent- struggle against him. He may have been made of iron for all the much she moved his arm or fingers, and was prctically dragged out to the car. Her heart hammered eractically, gasping for breath. What was going on?! Where was he taking her- and most of all- why?! There was no one to look for her, no one to miss her, and she shuddered to think of all the things he could do to her if he wanted. SHe slid into the back of the car and scooted herself to the far corner, drawing her knees up and cowering there, staring at him with wide eyes like a cornered rabbit, trembling. "You don' gotta be scared," she heard him say, but didn' repond as he backed the car up, pulling it up near the curb by the front door for Alexander.

Alex was having hillarious fun, though the shoppers and shop attendants didn't agree that this was in any case fun. The brown haired boy had 'accidentally' smacked the trolley into a stand of tomato ketchup and gotten it pretty much everywhere. The red substance had only fueled the hysteria of the shoppers that hadn't checked that it wasn't blood, and Alex was loving winding everyone up to the high heavens. He'd dropped the zombie act and squirted ketchup into the faces of any of the shop attendants that got too close, and was now making a mad dash for the exit at the back of the shop - the one he'd not come in by. He raced through the piled up snowdrifts at the back of the shop, before finally making his way to the front of the shop and jumping into the waiting car with a huge grin on his face.

"That was fun. But I do hope there's another supermarket we can get groceries from in the future... They didn't specifically say anything but I don't think they want me to go back any time soon." He heard the shouts of some of the security guards, and ducked down so anyone looking into the car wouldn't see him. "Shay. Would be a great time to start driving. And next time I do something stupid please stop me." From his space in the footwell, he could see Ariela in the back of the car, and she looked more frightened than a deer in the headlights - well, Alex believed she had the right to be frightened. There was a loonatic in the car who was covered in ketchup. "Yeah... Hi I'm Alex. I'm not always this insane. Only half the time... The rest of the time I'm even worse."

Eyebrows raised, Jace glanced over with an expression of bewilderment. "Alexander caught doing something stupid? Never," he said, in a tone of false bewilderment. He shook his head with a slight snort of amusement, focusing on easing the car over the curb of the parking lot, and onto the snow and ice slicked streets. He hated driving across the streets when they were icy- so used to driving only in warm weather. "There is no stopping you when you get an idea in your head," he muttered, shaking his head. There truly wasn't- the boy was much too stubborn. But, it did happen to provide Jace with entertainment, and as long asks he didn't get them in trouble or discovered it was fine.
The dark haired boy raked a hand through his black hair, glancing back in the mirror. The girl cowering behind them did not look overly happy To be there, as he suspected she would be. But, he didn't have a clue of her past, why she might have been so scared. "Knock it off," he snapped at Alex, glaring in his general direction. "You're only scaring her more." He glanced back again, his expression quickly changing to something apologetic and caring. "Are you alright? Will you tell us your name? We're really not here to hurt you," he tried to assure her, looking concerned.

Ari pressed herself back into the seat, as far awayfrom the boys as possible. Her mind raced- coming up with all the possible things they could want from her, mostly skipping over anything that could have been good. Money? She didn't have much. Murder? Possibly. Kidnapped? Maybe, but no one was going to pay ransom for her. And, she couldn't even dare think of the other option. They didn't seem like those kind of boys- Both seemed good looking enough to be able to get their fair amount of girls... And she was nothing pretty- at the moment anyway.
Ari's eyes widened and she looked at Alexander uncertainly as he turned around to speak, squirming under both of their gazes. "What do you mean, you're like me?" she rasped, her voice scratchy and unsure of itself. She was forced to hide her gave as she broke into a fit of coughing after those few words, her whole body shaking and trembling, her coughs quite painful, though she tried her best to hide it. But, she did earn herself a wry grin from Shay. "We're werewolves too," he said, as if this were the most normal thing in the word. "We could smell you."
Shocked by this information, Ari fell immediatly silent, eyes huge. If they were werewolves, that lessened her worries some, she probably wouldn't be used for such dark purposes, but she had learned werewolves could be their own kind of nasty- and she didn't wish to join a pack anything like her last. She had scars to deter herself- three on her wrist, her own doing, but several also on her stomach that were not- only made to look so. She instinctively crossed her arms over her stomach protectively, eyeing the two with a renewed sense of fear..

"Look. I genuinly thought there was going to be a zombie apocolypse." Alex pulled himself up onto the seat once they were clear of the supermarket. "Locking me in a cupboard tends to do the -I'm not implying that you lock me in a cupboard." He scowled at Shay and squished right up against the side of the car furthest from him, cowering in mock terror. "And you're terrifying me so you knock it off." He was hyped up (understatement) on his adrenhiline rush right now, and happy to be sharp-tounged and cast insults since that's the effect adrenhiline tended to have on him.

He turned back to Ari, and poked Shay, "I'm quit surprised you couldn't smell us out as werewolves to be honest... Though I have had a shower and Shay smells like he's been rolling around in rotten eggs... Did I introduce myself? I'm Alex, but you can call me irritating."

Jace rolled his eyes, keeping his concentration on the driving. "I do not lock you in cupboards Alexander," he said in exasperation. "You got yourself locke din there, not me." He slowed as he turned into the driveway, and stopped before they got into the garage. "This is our home," he explained as he glanced back in the mirror, ignoring Alex. "You're welcome to stay here- it's just us for now, and there's plenty of spare bedrooms and stuff." He shrugged, and got out, stretching before he tossed the keys back in at Alex. "Park your own car," he grumbled. "And quit scaring her."

Ari looked to Alexander warily. He was the cuter of the two b her standards- which only mad him more dangerous. All the cuter boys in the pack were the worst, thinking they could get away with anything with the girls because they were fawned over. She shifted uncomfortably, growing cramped in the small space. She glanced to Jace, thinking he could protentially be pretty gdangerous too- he seemed to be the more angry of the two. "What do you want from me?" she managed to say, rubbing her hand over her arm nervously. She never assumed anyone could do things out of just being nice- not any more. they must have wanted something. She took a very deep breath, and it registered- they were werewolves. She didn't have time to respond to that, as JAce was getting out of the car. Not wanting to be left alone with him she quickly scambled from the car, wrapping her arms around herself in the cold. She stepped a few feet back, eyeing the house and them very warily. It was going to take a lot of convincng to get her to stay here, especially permanently.

Alex pulled a face, remembering the time he'd locked himself in a cupboard... That hadn't been the best day home alone to be honest, he'd ended up waiting several hours for Shay/Jace to come home and let him out of the cupboard. It would be fair to say the other boy had been amused.

He caught the car keys and pulled a face, "Jeese, so kind of you." He mock-scowled and scooted across to sit in the driver's seat, pushing the keys back into the engine and waiting until Shay/Jace and Ari were both out of the way before he rolled the car back into the garage. He childishly climbed out of the car through the sunroof and shrugged slightly at Ari's question, "We don't want anything from you, we just want to make sure you're okay."
