{{Yep, we start in Limen town, just meeting our Groups. I'll go first, though I warn you I stink at first posts.}}

Gwendolyn felt the fresh air with a slightly salty tang hit her face as she got off of the ferry. She stretched out in relief, she hated being in a closed up space for a long time, and it was a pretty long trip. As she moved away from the crowd she decided to let her Blaziken out of it's Poke-ball. After all, if she had felt that cramped on a whole ship how must he feel in that tiny little Poke-ball? After stopping by a nearby vendor and getting some popcorn for themselves, she started to look around for the other two she was told to meet up with. Two girls, one named Artemis and the other Fae.

Narrowing her eyes, Samantha glanced around through the crowds. She was supposed to be meeting up with her group, right? Really, Sam wasn't sure if she should actually try to make friends. Her mother had urged her to go when she was chosen out of the raffle, wanting her to make friends, really. Sam didn't mind making friends, but complete strangers out of no where? She blinked.

Sam held a grim expression at the reminder of her words: 'Oh, sweetie. You need to open up more. You know, this is also a chance to finally meet more Pokemon.' The last sentence was the only thing that finally pushed her daughter to the limit; she wasn't going to let her mother prove her wrong.

Her face straightened as she saw the spot where it would be best to meet the rest of her group. Sam smiled, and then quickly went off to sit at the bench, glancing around, her Mudkip sitting on her lap.

After getting off the boat, I feel as if I'd been set free from a cage on enclosure. I wasn't much of a sailor, so I'd been sea sick most of the trip. My Pokemon had kept me company though, which had helped a bit. I hold my travel bag nervously as I look around, seeing many fellow trainers chatting happily. I swallow nervously. Who was I supposed to be meeting again? I nervously head for the food with my loyal Lucario at my side. Normally, it would be Torterra, but he was very big and took up a lot of space. Lucario had been my second Pokemon- raised from a Riolo. He trusted me as much as I trusted him. We'd been through so many battles together.
Lucario touches my arm with a paw and looks at me with his sharp eyes. "I'm okay," I tell him quietly, "just confused." I stand on top of a wooden post on the dock to get a better look at the crowd.

Jade walked around her black hair flowing in the wind as she put on her grey and blue gloves that matched her outfit her blue eyes matching too. she then sent out her pokeball containing her first pokemon her male cyndiquil named quil. Jade was from johto and this was the first time her and her pokemon had ever left the region. She smiled walking around holding quil.

Sam easily caught sight of the two from her group. "Hey, over here!" she called, waving her right hand, hoping they could see her. Her eyes were bright, the sea breeze blowing the blue hair into her eyes as she brushed it away from her other hand. She was, even though she hated to admit it, very excited.

Tiki glanced at the Lucario and Cyndaquail. He blinked, before calling, "Mud! Mud mud kip!" excitingly to the two Pokemon. Without Sam even allowing to, he dashed off to the two Pokemon, first the Lucario, than the Cyndaquail, greeting them eagerly, making Sam shake her head with a giggle.

"I'm excited to be on this adventure.. maybe it was a good idea mom allowed me to go on this adventure." Sam thought about it to herself. Yep, I was meant to go on this adventure.

jade didnt really understand what she was supost to do so she just looked counfused. Quil then puffed smoke out at tiki he wasnt good with water pokemon. "quil stop it" jade said returning him "sorry about that he doesnt get along well with water pokemon conistering hes a fire pokemon." she then brought out her female espeon and her male umbreon out. her umbreon was named ron and her espeon was named ruby. "im jade that cydiquil is quil this is ruby and this is ron."

• I sigh in relief when I spot another girl waving at me. I jump down, and Lucario look down at the Mudkip in bewilderment, but then he growls in greeting. "Be nice," I tell my Pokemon, and he seems to smirk at me. I walk forward towards the other girl. "Are you in my group?" I ask, a bit shy when meeting new people. My heart pounds in anticipation of all of the battles, contests and friends I know doubt would make.

Sam couldn't believe she didn't break down from fear or her shyness yet. Slowly, she nodded. "Yep, your in our group," she sighed gently, her eyes gleaming. She grinned, watching Tiki retreat to her heels and stick out his tongue to her. "It's fine. Tiki just overreacts around others because he's so happy." She glanced away, muttering to the ground. "He's the complete opposite to me." She looked back over to the others. "So, your Jade, and your the other Samantha." She smiled widely. Samantha must be a popular name. Was her thought in pride. "Well, you can call me Sam, but we'll need another name for you, since we can't keep calling each other Sam or Samantha at the same time." She cocked her head, confused.

• I chuckle. "That's okay. I usually only go by Sammy anyway." I smile and gesture at the silent Pokemon at my side. "This is Lucario. He's my partner in crime I guess you can call it."
Lucario growls, but he's smiling, so he's obviously greeting the other Sam. "He's good, and your Mudkip is positively adorable!" I gush, loving the sight of a new Pokemon. "I've seen them in battles, but they aren't native to Sinnoh- where I was raised." I bend down and hold out my hand to the little Mudkip.
