Minna is very timid due to bullying when she was young, though due to the bullying she can hide quite well. She is very distrustful of most people, but like Katniss, would probably take a liking to people who resemble her only friend. She is semi-skilled with a knife, due to being taught the "proper way" to cut the plants that make fabric up so they'll grow again. She is quite nimble. She isn't skilled in many other ways, only very slightly in sewing and a very basic knowledge of herbs. She's a little selfish and often keeps things to herself.

Minna's parents died in an accident at the factory they worked at when Minna was young, and there are no other relatives of hers alive, so she was sent to the orphanage. They were cruel at the orphanage, but while most children became the same, Minna simply retreated into herself, and into the sewing that she had to do. She had no friends until a young boy named Hayden came to the orphanage when she was 10. She looked after him and pretty soon they were best of friends. But he couldn't help her at the reaping.

- My da remarried a year after that, when my brother became sick.

- Da is named after my deaf grandfather, John Clouse Orchid. They both hate their last names because they're Ladies Names.

- Da wanted a boy to teach, but it never really followed his plans. My brother ended up being a Momma's boy and I went with him to work. Brother's name is James John-Clouse Orchid.

[ Personality; I try to be a perfectionist, but it doesn't really work. I'm known to be very clumsy, impatient, and annoying at times. I've always failed at the physical exams, but excelled at the written and strategic tests. You see, the thing about being a Career is that you need to be either super smart or super strong. I take myself as the smart-ish. My body is fairly awkward, but I know how to make up for it. When my father took me to work once, I screwed up big time, costing him three days normal labor. I came up with a solution likety-split, and got him ahead of where he was before. This would be when I'm annoying. People often take me as a know-it-all, and I hate that; I don't know it all. I'm a normal child—sort of—that just wants to do her best. 

[ History; When I was super little, my mum died. I have no clue how, but she did. The next year, my brother became sick in the head, as my da put it. He liked to stay home and help my new mum more than he liked fishing and working outside. Da needed someone to help him, so I volunteered. I enjoyed it, having fun and taking care of my family gave me a content feeling of happiness. 

I befriended a small girl by the name of Tessa. He was my brother's best friend's little sister. My brother is two years older than me. We would play together when our brothers took us with them to hang put. Tessa turned thirteen when I turned sixteen. Our brothers passed the reaping by a few meager months. As being the only girl in a family of eight under the age of fourteen, and the only one older than twelve, Tessa was forced to sign up for Tessera. She found it funny that Tessarae sounded so much like her name. She had her name in the reaping ball over fifty times, where I only had mine in there five. I would've taken a few for her, but only family can take it for family. instead, I told myself that if she ever got chosen, I'd take her place in the Games. Boy, was that stupid of me.

[ Talents / Strengths;

} Um, Career, hello!
- We train for the hunger games before they even start! I know how I works, the most likely curve-balls that the Capitol will throw at us. I have one of the best mentors ever. I'm pretty much set with that alone!
} Traps
- I figure that setting traps on land can't be that different than those in the water. I mean, same knots, just different area. 
} Knots
- I learned the most difficult loops faster than everybody in my age group. 
} Blank
- I can keep my face so blank, you wouldn't believe.

Weaknesses;
} Things in pain
- I can't tolerate things in pain. If its humans, I'll try to heal them. If its animals, I try to make them feel better or I'll kill them; it depends on the severity of the wound. 
} Being in pain
- I don't like being in pain because I feel useless. I can't feel useless because being with the Careers means that I have to be at the top of my game. I can't be hurt or they'll kill me right on the dot. 
} Dogs
- I've always had a thing for dogs. I love their cute little tails and floppy ears and wet noses. 

[ Likes;
} Sunsets
- Sunsets out on the ocean are amazing. The water sparkles. The dolphins and other animals pop their fins above the water. Picture perfect. 
} Family
- Family is important to me. They're the ones who root you on I'm whatever you do. They get you through school with all those catty girls and scum-bag boys. They're the best. 
} Girls
- Certain girls are sweet and caring. Others are totaly phsycotic. I love to hang out with the nicer ones. 

[ Dislikes;
} Animals. 
- They're so filthy! Unless its a water animal, dog, or owl, I hate them. 
} Crazies
- I honestly think they're polluting society. Take a look at the weirdos who invented this competition. They're a bunch of crazies. 
} Holidays
- Holidays are dangerous here. When we get breaks, we can't to much anyway, being the Capitol's perfect pets. 
} Fishing
- I like trapping better. Fishing makes me kind of annoyed. You sit for hours on the boat, and wait for something that loves to take its time to grab your line and tug. I'm impatient. When we wen on field trips for school and they took us fishing, trapping, shooting, and whatnot, I tried them all.

[ Fears; 
} Drowning
- Beleive it or not, I'm scared of drowning. 
} Hurting someone
- I know, I know. I'm supposed to be a Career but I don't want to be one. I hate hurting people, and it pains me to know that I might have to do that. 
} Becoming fat
- I starve myself for long periods of time, because I see myself as fat. No, I'm not anorexic, bulemic, whatever they call it nowadays, but it does scare me. 
} The Hunger Games
- Who isn't scared of death? You try facing death, and murder! I don't want to, but it's probably going to come down to it.

Sarkra is a brave kid, always sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. He has lots of friends and is a natural leader, even though he's only 12. He has learned to avoid strangers though, because he knows that what his sister does is illegal. He's a decent cook, but not as good as his sister is by any means. He wishes she would take him out and teach him how to catch food like she does, because he really looks up to her. He is always braging at school about how great his sister is, though he knows enough not to mention that she goes out and hunts and gathers. Most of them already know that anyways.

His family has always been one that works in the mines. He is scared of the mines actually, since they seem so dark an airless. At least that is what he knows from the mine trips in school. He had always feared the reapings for himself and his sister, since he doesn't understand that because of his sister's tessarae that she is in them more times than most (she has explained to him the math behind it, but he doesn't really understand the odds yet). He just knows that them drawing her name is not a good thing and that she has 45 in next year. It hasn't really clicked in his mind that he is in the games and probably won't survive.
