WIP"Smile though your heart is aching ...
Smile even though its breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile with your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just ...
Paris-Merissa Katherine Jayne"Light up your face with gladness"
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile "What's your name?"My name's Paris-Merissa Katherine Jayne Wagner."Any nicknames?"Many, but I mostly go by Parry, Pjay, and Snickers."How old are you?"I am 17 years old."Boy or girl?"I'm obviously a girl."What's your sexual orientation?"I am straight, thank you."What color is your hair?"I have brown hair, but sometimes it looks black."What color are your eyes?"Well, my eyes are very strange. They can be different colors depending on which angle you're looking from. They can be sea green, sea blue, dark blue, greyish white, or bluish white. Again, depends on the angle you look from."How tall are you?"I am 5'9."How much do you weigh?"I'm pretty light because of a vegetarian diet, lots of physical activity, and I have a little bit of anorexia. I weigh somewhere between 102 and 103."Any piercings?"Nope."Any tattoos?"No."Any allergies?""I'm mildly allergic to perfume/cologne but I'm extremely allergic to cranberries.""Any diseases?""I have Anemia, Claustrophobia, OCD, Insomnia, and a little bit of Anorexia.""Now, can you tell us what you're like?"I'm not the most confident girl in the world. I'm very self-conscious although I was really popular. I feel like my "friends" talk about me behind my back. Although I love to sing, dance, act, and compete in front of people, I can't talk in front of crowds. Its my weakness. I'm not too happy about my life. My parents' deaths led me to being very unhappy and totally self-contained. Its hard to tell when I'm faking a smile/laugh or not. I can hide it really well. The only person who can see behind my mask is Prince. I keeps my thoughts, feelings, and emotions to myself, only to take them out in my music. Singing, dancing, acting, sports, writing, and instruments are my only ways to escape the feelings of feeling lonely and lost in my life. Its rare that I break down in public. My feelings toward the world haven't changed. I'm a humanitarian. I have and always will be a humanitarian. When I'm not singing, dancing, acting, competing, writing, playing sports, or playing instruments, I'm either found donating or volunteering. I love to help those in need. I'm a vegetarian. Don't eat meat in front of me. I love nature. I love to climb trees. I will never ride in a car, bus, or train. I will walk, ride a bike, or ride my skateboard. I usually help clean up the parks. I spend most of my time outside. I'm the best friend you could ever ask for. First of all, I'm 100% honest. This can be good or bad. If I lie, it eats at me and hurts me. I'm very compassionate. I'm loyal to the friendship and will never let you down. I can keep a secret unless its hurting someone. I hate seeing people get into a verbal or physical fight. Both make me really upset. I hate seeing people upset or angry. I'm a bookworm. I love to read. I'm also very intelligent. I'm OCD about spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and disorganization. I'm very organized. My school binders and notebooks are color coded. My drawers, closets, and shelves are always clean and neat. My CDs and books are in alphabetical order. Once you get past my depression and shyness, you'll find that I'm a cool girl. I can be a party girl and very funny around my family and best friends."Can you tell me about your family?"I had a huge family. My parents raised about 18 kids in all. Not all of them theirs. I had a step-sister named Casideei. I have a step-brother named Anthony. I had 7 sisters named Morgan, Halee, Raegan, Stellabelle, Jessica, Susie, and Madielyn. Halee died 12 years before I was born. Susie died 3 years before I was born. Madielyn disappeared 2 years before I was born and still to this day nobody knows what happened to her. I had 4 brothers named Christopher, Joshua, Prince, and Jason. Christopher died when I was 10 years old. I have 4 adopted sisters named Skylar, Alexandria, LilliAnna, and Stephanie. I have 9 aunts, 8 uncles, 2 step-aunts, 6 step-uncles, and a half-aunt. I have about 57 cousins. I have about 16 nieces, 9 nephews, 4 adopted nieces, and 4 adopted nephews. My dad died when I was 11 and my mom died when I was 13."Can you tell me about your childhood?"I was born in Los Angeles, California on April 3, 1995 to a 38-year-old mother and a 40-year-old father. I had a great childhood growing up. My parents were very protective, so they home-schooled me, which I was okay with. We were rich. Both of my parents worked from home, so they never went away for work so they could spend time with us. We had a house by the sea. Literally, the beach was our backyard. I'm not a spoiled brat. Trust me. Oh, so you think just because I was home-schooled that I didn't have any friends? Wrong! Growing up, I sang in town talent shows. Won 10 years in a row. I took 5 dance classes: ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, and theatre. I was also in a local drama club. I took writing and drawing classes. At a young age, I learned how to play the piano, drums, guitar, and piano. I played in lots of sports: cheerleading, swimming, track, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, all these other things. When I was 6, I met my idol and got my guitar signed by him.
I had a large family. I had 1 step-sister named Casideei. I had 1 step-brother named Anthony. I had 4 biological sisters named Morgan, Raegan, Stellabelle, Jessica. I had 4 biological brothers named Christopher, Joshua, Prince, and Prince II who was also known as Blanket. I have 4 adopted sisters named Skylar, LilliAnna, Alexandria, and Stephanie. I have 10 aunts, 8 uncles, 2 step-aunts, 6 step-uncles, and 1 half-uncle. I have many cousins. I have 6 step-nieces, 2 step-nephews, 12 nieces, 7 nephews, 4 adopted nieces, and 4 adopted nephews. Just imagine us at a family reunion! Ha. It was fun. We would have baseball games, sand volleyball games, races, picnics, dunk tanks, all these other things. But, not everything was great although it may seem like it on the outside.
When I was 3 years old, my parents recieved news that my step-sister had died in a plane wreck. It killed my mom. She was my mom's first born daughter. It devastated my dad, too. He had been around Casideei since she and her twin brother, Anthony, were 7 months old. We had the funeral a week later. They wouldn't let us look in the casket. They kept the casket closed. That's how bad her body had been damaged. I remember a year later asking my parents: "When is Cassie coming back from the sky?" Her death didn't destroy our family life, though. We continued on with our lives like nothing happened. When I was 8, my oldest brother, Christopher, decided to go into the army. He was 22 then. 2 years later on Christmas Day, we learned he had died. Again, hurt very badly. I was closer to Chris than any of my other siblings. Well, besides Prince and Blanket. We didn't let it destroy our spirits, though. The next year, though, it destroyed us. My dad was murdered. His personal doctor had over-medicated him on purpose. My mom's happy, perky, joking personality shattered. She was more quiet. Depressed. Rarely slept. 2 years later on the 2nd year anniversery of dad's death, the same person murdered my mom. This time, he was caught and put in jail for the rest of his life.
After my mom died, Prince, Blanket, and I moved in with my grandmother. She made us go to public school. I got straight A's. I was in the honors academy. I sang solo in choir. I was in orchestra. I played the guitar for String Fusion. I played on the softball, tennis, soccer, volleyball, swimming, basketball, and gymnastics team. I was also on the cheerleading and dance team. I was in drama club. I got the leads in musicals or plays. I was popular even though I was really shy. I was prom queen. I was valadictorian. When I was 15, I got my first boyfriend. His name was Christian. He reminded me so much of my father. He was shy. He was sweet. He was smart. He was generous. He thought of others before himself. He was the perfect gentleman. Like my parents, he didn't come from a great family. His mom died after he was born. His dad was an alcoholic, a drugee, and a smoker. His father was a gang member and was constantly away from home, leaving his only child with his sister, who was scared of him. His father beat him everyday. The year after Christian and I started dating, his father beat him to death. I was devastated because a month later, my grandmother died at the age of 84. We moved in with my mom's oldest brother, who was 57 at the time. After I graduated, Prince, Blanket, and I moved here."Are you a local or a tourist?"I am a local.

Even if we don't know where we stand

"Hello, it's very nice to meet you! My name isn't really relevant to you at the moment, but I'll be the one interviewing you today. Why don't we start off with you telling me a little about yourself? Just tell me whatever you want and we will go from there."
"Well, my name is Avalon Fielding. I'm 17 years young, and, am obviously a chick. I a bit of a popular in my highschool. Everyone knows my name. I'm practically a god to those wannabes! Anyhow, I don't have any siblings, it's just me and my parents. My dad owns this worldwide marketing company, so, I guess you could say that we aren't short on cash. I get pretty much anything I want. But, of course, you probably already know that, right? I mean, look at me!"
"Well it's very nice to meet you! I won't try to keep you to long, so I only got a few more questions for you. Why don't you go ahead and start off my telling me a bit about your school life. For example: What grade are you in? Do you do well in school? What are your plans after high school?"
"Well, like I said, I'm a popular girl. The most popular. I'm a senior, of course, and I'm top of the class. I'm on the cheerleading squad, and am, in fact, the captain. I make excellent grades, all A's. But I am FAR from a nerd. I have a life! And, my plans after highschool, are, of course, to go to college. What else? I mean, I don't really need to, since I'll own my daddy's company one day, but, I'm gonna go anyway. It'd be bad for my repuation if I didn't."
"How interesting, I suppose. Tell me this though, how has your school life effected the life you have at home? Good? Bad? In the middle? I guess what I'm really trying to ask is to tell be about your family; mother, father, brothers, sisters, and whatever else."
"Jeez, you don't listen much do you? I'm an only child, I already said that. I'm a spoiled only child. My daddy owns a wroldwide marketing company called Fieldings Global. And, as for my mom, well.. She's living in San Antonio with this other guy, Ricardo. I think she married him. But hey, I don't really keep up to date on her life, nowadays."
"Okay. Now that we have gotten past all of that stuff, it is really time to 'dig up some dirt' as some may say. Well, have you ever done anything you are not proud of? Something illegal, immoral, etc. Don't be afraid to tell me. Everything said here is high confidential and no one else will be informed."
"That's a little personal, dontcha think? But hey, it's for publicity, so, I'll tell you. I've done a few things that I'm not proud of.. I've gotten drunk at parties to many times to count. I mean, ALOT of times. But, other than the obvious, I have run away from home a couple times over the years. But, I can't handle even one day on my own, so I usually go running back to daddy, and he just laughs, and asks me if I want a drink to warm me up. I don't see how he can do that after I've run away. If it was my kid, I'd probably have them killed! Ahem. Well. Is that all?"
"I would be intrigued to know more, but I rather not push. I've heard much about you already, but I haven't heard nearly anything at all about your social life. Do you have a lot of friends? Little? What social crowd do you hang out with. Tell me about your friends and what you do on weekends and after school."
"I'm a popular. How many times do I have to say it, mister? I have tons of friends. They're all loyal to me, they would never do anything to hurt me. Ever. Because, if they did, they know that they would be dumped. Thrown out like an old pair of pumps. My friends think of me as their leader, the one they couldn't possibly go a day without, or else they'd be completely lost. But me? Personally, they're all dispensable to me. If a new girl shows up at school, and I think it would be useful to have her as a friend, I'll throw out one of my other so-called 'friends' to allow the new girl to take her place. It's great to be king."
"Quite interesting. Do you think you find it easy to find that special someone? Tell me a bit about the relationships you have been in. Are you currently in a relationship? How long do your relationships last? Do you do well with commitment or not? Do you regret any relationship you have been in? Have you ever cheated while in a relationship?"
"Easy? Please, it is a piece of cake! I have boys practically begging for my attention! They grovel at my feet like lost puppies! But, I play hard to get. I don't usually date them. I'll just wave in their direction, flash them a smile, maybe sey "hey" once in a while, just to leave them wanting more. But I'm not really the dating type. It's not my style. The longest relationship I've ever been in lasted a little over two weeks. I don't like to be tied down by one guy. And, have I ever cheated? Of course! That's the point of having a boyfriend isn't it? To cheat on him?"
"Well Miss, this has been rather interesting interview, something a lot of people don't usually tell to a completely stranger, but I am very happy for your openness about everything. I'm going to go ahead and say that this interview is over and your free to go. If there's any last things you would like to say or mention before you go, feel free to do that as well. Good bye."
"Chow!"

Hi. My name is Ryder, and I am 18 years old.
ɴᴀᴍᴇ; "Ryder Owen Pierce. Got a problem?"
ɴɪᴄᴋɴᴀᴍᴇ(s); "Just Ryder."
ᴀɢᴇ; "Didn't I already tell you that? I don't like to repeat myself. I'm 18."
ʙɪʀᴛʜᴅᴀʏ; "March 9th."
ʜᴏᴍᴇᴛᴏᴡɴ; "Bridgeport."
ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ; "Figure it out." Ryder. A guy that's hard to describe. The word that fits him; rebel. Just a pure-bred rebel, he rejects everything people say. He is just a guy who is like all the other men who are crabby and mean. He is confident, sarcastic, proud and cocky. And maybe that guy who always comes to class unprepared, or stoned.
The kid doesn’t play sports, he doesn’t run, he doesn’t really do anything. He likes being alone, and causing trouble. Maybe even talking to people who have an interest in getting into trouble. People who he has interest in, well he just loves to talk. He loves to be funny, tell jokes.
Just on the outside he comes off as a powerful person, who has mental problems. But, inside he is well rounded, and knows a little bit of everything. From animals, to the human skeletons. He just doesn’t like showing his true personality, because he is just afraid. Yeah, yeah, we hear it a billion times, someone who is mean, evil and in the inside, he truly cares. Naw, naw, not at all. He doesn’t care, he just is cautious. Literally, he has lived a normal childhood. Nothing special about his past. He just picked up from his old friends, got into some trouble, and this is where we are. There is a difference between cautious and scared, cautious is when you look out for things that could hurt you, scared is when you are just scared. If he sees a conflict start to rise, well he’ll be there on the side lines rooting for whoever looks like they’re going to win.
He does pay attention to women, although he rarely dates anyone. He can have some lady friends, but he won’t treat them like a lady. He will treat them like another guy, have some fun. Flirt sometimes, but rarely.
ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ; Ryder has lived a normal life, he had a family, two brothers, a father. Just no mother. His mother died while delivering him, and, honestly? He has never let it go. Nothing bad has happened to him since then. He was born in Birmingham. He went to school, but once he entered highschool. His whole life as changed, he hung out with the wrong crowd. He had no back bone in his life. His parents didn’t care, and once he got his first under age beer, well… I think you know the story.
ғᴀᴍɪʟʏ; He has two older brothers, Lennox and Dice. All three live with his dad.
ᴘᴇᴛ(s); "Eh."
ʜᴀɪʀ ᴄᴏʟᴏʀ; "It's brown. You blind?"
ᴇʏᴇ ᴄᴏʟᴏʀ; "Again, brown."
ʜᴇɪɢʜᴛ; "6'2"
ᴡᴇɪɢʜᴛ; "144 lbs of muscle."
ʙᴏᴅʏ ᴍᴏᴅɪғɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴs; "One tattoo on my upper arm."
ᴄʟᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ sᴛʏʟᴇ; "Is that any of your business?" Ryder is more of a retro-chic kinda guy. He likes the dark-denim jeans, and light T-shirts, with shades and combat boots.
ᴄʀᴜsʜ; "No one."
ʙᴏʏғʀɪᴇɴᴅ/ɢɪʀʟғʀɪᴇɴᴅ; "I'm single, baby."
ᴇx(ᴇs); "There's a few."
ʀᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴsʜɪᴘ sᴛᴀᴛᴜs; "Single. You deaf too?"
ᴡʜᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ɪɴ sᴏᴍᴇᴏɴᴇ; "I want a bad-*ss girl. Someone who isn't afraid to take risks, or get into a little bit of trouble. A chick who knows how to live."
ʟɪᴋᴇs; "Music // Chicks // Drinking // Partying // Smoking on occasion // Hot Rods // Racing // The Color Red // Shades // The Beach"
ᴅɪsʟɪᴋᴇs; "Plastics // Fakes // Backstabbers // Bright Colors"
ғᴇᴀʀ(s); "Drowning, man."
sᴇᴄʀᴇᴛ(s); "I tell everyone my mom died from a heart attack when I was two, but the truth is that she died during child-birth. MY child-birth."
ᴏᴛʜᴇʀ; "Nope. We done here?"
