Hello! My name is Second_Choey [although people have taken to calling me "Second" or "Choey"], and recently I've been searching for an excellent roleplay. First of all, let me clarify: I am in search of quality RPs that I think have great substance to them and are something that I've not seen before. Lately I'm on the search of very innovative RPs. I am not one of those people that will write 4-6 paragraphs per post [unless that's how much you write, in which case it'll be an easy matter to respond to]. I prefer quality over sheer quantity, and I'm not a particular fan of prattling on about things not necessarily related to the context to take up a paragraph or two. I don't go all out on my posts, but I don't think they're particularly ugly, per se. I'm on rather consistently, so you can count that I will usually respond about twice per day.

Semi - Literate to Literate
➸ You must require good spelling, grammar, and punctuation. At most I can post 3 - 4 paragraphs, but that's only if you give me enough to respond to. Typically I will post a minimum of one thick paragraph or two or three shorter ones.

Original Ideas
➸ Seriously, if I see another lab experiment RP about children that are running off and going to take down the organization...well, I won't judge you if you like those kinds of RPs, but for me personally they're becoming rather trite.

Not Purely Romance
➸ Romance is a fact of life, but at the moment I'm not really looking for a RP specific to romance.

Has Not Started
➸ It's a pet peeve of mine. I prefer to be in RPs before they've started [like, at all. As in not even one RP post].

➸ As long as it meets all my requirements.

➸ Including [but not necessarily limited to]: Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and maybe the Mortal Instruments. There are other books and movies that I've seen [I may surprise you], but if they're not listed they're probably ones I'm not crazy about. ^^;;

➸ Again, very original.

➸ I can't promise anything, though. It all depends on the content, too.

Twilight
➸ DENIED. I will not deny that it's not an entertaining piece of work, but in terms of plot, originality, grammar, and other things it's not exactly the most glorious piece of literary art I've come across, and the creatures in it were somewhat ... unrealistic. And it's a fantasy book. That's a problem.

Pregnant Teen
➸ I actually don't understand the attraction of these sorts of RPs, but to each his own.

LGBT
➸ I actually don't have a thing against them, but I will not participate in an RP that requires a character that is one of them. I do not mind, however, if other characters are any of these.

Illiterate RPs
➸ Well, it's against my requirements, too.

Celebrity RPs
➸ I'm really not into people enough for something like that. This includes all--ll--ll celebrities.

Animal RPs [realistic or fictional
➸ I never really got into the groove of RPing an animal, and I don't think I have the knowledge of animals to really play them convincingly. This also includes equestrian, avian, or similar roleplays.

It's a whole new hunger games. The stakes are higher, the dangers are greater, and there is a prize if you win. Yes, that's right. There's a prize. And guess what it is? A rare 2009. You also get the pool. The pool is the combination of pets gathered throughout the Hunger Games for various reasons. And what's even better? There are several other prizes to be had. And don't worry, you don't have to win to get a prize!

Now that I have your attention, here's how it works. This is just like the hunger games that you have read, but the extremity is greater. There are twenty-four tributes, two from each district. One male, and one female. Only one of those tributes can win, and the others can only hope that they will make it to see their families again. Before the games begin, of course, there is a training. There's rating. Everyone shows off their skills. And then it begins. There is chaos around the cornucopia. Death. Then everyone goes their separate ways. Some hunt, some hide but its just a matter of time until one is left. Are you up for the challenge of the Hunger Games?

It started with disease, followed by devastating natural disasters. Stock markets crashed, governments lost power and people panicked, joining together in groups and violent gangs trying to survive all across the world. In a matter of months, large cities were empty, and civilization as everyone knew it was over. The world is now every man for himself, and there are no signs of improvement. Some choose to roam in large gangs, most violent and unstable with vigilante justice. But there are a few people who have managed to hold onto humanity, tucked away in hard to reach places of the globe. What will you do to survive?

Amongst all of the chaos, there sits a small family farm nestled in the mountains of Appalachia, hidden from gangs. Thanks to the rough terrain of the mountains, the farm has sat relatively peacefully and unnoticed. Gangs are unprepared in the forest, underestimating its power and the family that lives there. If you are lucky enough to stumble onto the farm, its best to make friends, because this might be the only place you have a chance of survival.

With your body lowered, you stalk through the swamp, the water brushing your underbelly. A small and skinny thrush, pecked at a bug laying on the ground, right infront of you. Just as you were about to pounce, a black paw flashes out of the darkness, killing the bird in one swift blow. You watch with fear as an ebony body follows. Her white tufted ears flick quickly, and her nose raises high to the sky. 'Thank you starclan for this wonderful prey...' she whispers, before burying her prey. About to stalk away, her muscles tense... she has caught a whiff of you. You turn to run, but her lithe body is already on you, making you stumble to the ground. "What are you doing here?" she hisses in a harsh tone, before yowling. In a matter of seconds, you are surrounded. She lets you get to your feet and asks, "Do you dare come on the territory of Swampclan? If you have not come to join our clan, we'll rip you to shreds!" "But if you wish to stay, follow me." she growls soon after, flexing her claws. Will you stay, or go?

It was stupid, you knew it was. You found this old lady on the streets trying to sell stones to make her living. Nothing more than hunks of Limestone, and with a good life and cash to burn, you can easily take pity on this old woman. If so, you have nothing more than a stone, if not, life goes on. Whatever you chose, one day you see brown spots on your skin. You hide it well. It's no big deal. After a week or so, the stone has chipped away into a glowing precious stone, and your skin is worse than ever. Then pain. You pass out, and when you wake up you're in a sunny field, but you are no longer you. You're a monster. If you had the stone, you find it in a small sack beside you with some supplies. You can only remember your name and the woman. If you had no stone, nothing. You remember only your name, and you know the name of this place. Terra Nilhil. So now you wander the valley, mountains, and forests, meeting others like you. They were cursed and moved as you. Each day they wander as humans, at night as beasts. So what lies from here? Will you survive the rivalries for resources, or will the wild Terra Nihil break you down?

The single most romantic place on Earth. Where love was supposed to blossom and bloom, bringing in lovers of all shapes, sizes and sorts. All here to feel the special place, the place that love radiates from every street corner, every chaotic, bustling street.
Right?
Thats what you'd always thought, brought yourself to believe as you grew up in one of the wealthiest homes you knew. Yes, you were wealthy. Beyond any particular need, really. You had money to spare, and things to spend it on. You had friends, a good school, and an even better, luxurious life. Even if you and your parents or siblings didn't get along incredibly often, even if you had to work a part time job somewhere to prove yourself to be independent. No matter what you did, you'd always come from a rich family.
You'd thought it was a blessing, something very few teenagers could enjoy and lavish in. Something safe and cozy, like the soft blankets of your bed as a child. But maybe you'd slept too long.

The next thing you knew, the bomb shell was dropped. You were being sent to a prestigious school, located where you thought dreams were previous fabricated, where you thought would be a good vacation place. Not a place you'd stay for years while you completed your education. You don't know why your parents did it; but you had an idea. Whether it was the fact that they wanted to seem more cultured in the eyes of their wealth colleagues, or just wanted the home to themselves, you could never be sure.
Life went on during the summer as usual. You said good bye to friends. Maybe lovers, maybe people you'd known your entire life. It was all in regret. The last thing on your mind was leaving. But alas, you had to.
Only a few short weeks later, you were on a plane. Flying away from all you loved and cherished.
