Darla was nearby the gates of the field keenly scratching for bugs with her rather sharp claws. Once she had scratched she stepped back and looked for any bugs, she was in luck! a juicy worm. She quickly picked it up in her beak and ate it, she let out a satisfied bluck before continuing to scratch.

Bails-
Bails looked up and saw Darla slurping on a worm. She clucked in frustration because she didn't catch it first. Now, Bails had to find food before any other hens or roosters did. Her stomach was rumbling and her feathers were ruffled. She began to peck at the ground, searching for worms or bugs.

Daisy and Rose followed their mother Mari as she walked about the field happily clucking to other chickens she hoped to be acquainted with. She walked up to Darla "Hello, any luck finding some bugs?"
Paul walked over to Ballet. "Lovely day" he said.

Arthur spread out his wings in a majestic flutter as he stretch his powerful wings, he was a very large cockeral (Trust me, i ate him XD) He spotted a hen looking for bugs a little way away (Bails) and began to walk towards her, he made a few flirty blucks before scratching beside her "You're very pretty arent you?" He said with a smile

Darla looked up at Mari with a smile "YEs actually I just caught a big worm" She said happily "How are the chicks?" she asked

The Orpington hen looked up to see Arthur. An angry look crossed her face. She clucked at him, "Keep walkin'." Bails ruffled her feathers and continued to peck for worms. However, when she cast a sideward glance she still saw Arthur. A trickle of fear entered Bails's mind.

Arthur smiled and kept persistant in his flirting. "Are you sure you dont want this nice juicy bug?" He said holding out a centipede in his beak for her. Hoping she would take it, he tened to have a crush on most hens and being very handsome most of them normally liked him back

She finally turned to Arthur and saw the long centipede he carried in his beak. She certainly was hungry, but she felt like she would be walking into a trap if she took this offering from him.. Her stomach rumbled from hunger and she finally decided to take it. "Thanks," Bails said quietly as she pulled the crawly bug from Arthur. She crunched it, then swallowed it quickly.

Arthur smiled and craned his neck while letting out a very nice sounding cockadoodledoo. He continued scratching determind to please this hen, being 2nd in the pecking order meant he had a good and wide choice of hens, but not as wide as he'd like to have. He picked out a nice long riggly worm and offered it to Bails
