Skyburst

Skybusrt raised her head as she heard her name called for the second hunting patrol and smiled to herself. Hunting was by far her favorite of her warrior duties. She padded to the entrance to wait patiently for the rest of her patrol to gather there as well. She watched lazily as the rest of the patrols gathered together, and watched with mild amusement as Rainpaw ran eagerly over to Shadowstar, urgency in his steps. A breeze ruffled her fur and she closed her eyes, what a wonderful day it was to go hunting.

Cherryflash
Cherryflash purrs and picks up Ghost. She puts him in the nest with her other kits. Cherryflash smiles and walks out to get something to eat. After eating she walks back in and curls around the kits in her nest. She closes her eyes and starts falling asleep. Cherryflash blinked and was dozing off but couldn't quiet get to sleep. Yawning she curls around the kits even more purring from there warmth. She falls asleep from there litte purrs and ther warmth.

Shadowstar
Shadowstar rolled his eyes as Rainpaw rushed over. Would he ever get to eat this vole, or talk to Iristail in peace?! "Rainpaw, you can see her afterwards, I promise. But for now you'll have to go hunting with Skyburst, Littlestorm and I. You need to work on hunting, remember? Your crouch has been that of a lop-sided badger lately!" He lowered his voice. "And you know you'll just be distracted by Lilypaw if you try and train with her. Look, I know you like her, but you need to put your clan first! If it makes you feel better, I'll put you on apprentice duties together later, ok?" he looked at the apprentice, hoping that the young tom would agree. Shadowstar's eyes flicked to the vole that lay at his side, and his mouth watered slightly. He had only had a few bites...

Rainpaw puffed out his cheeks. He was just about to say something in response, but that would get him in a spot in the elder's den. "Fine Shadowstar.. but can we at least talk to you after the patrols?" Rainpaw asked as he walked away. The little tom walked away without an answer, he would just have to see if there would be a yes or no. Rainpaw looked at Sunfur. "There's nothing wrong with my crouch right?" The tom asked his sister. Sunfur was quiet for a few seconds and then fell onto the ground laughing. Her happy bellows rang throughout the camp. "Shhhh! Sunfur be quiet!" As the tom tried to shush her, his face turned more and more red. "Your crouch? What's wrong with it?" Sunfur laughed even harder after saying that.

Mintpaw
Mintpaw looks around for everyone that was in her patrol. She wanted to go and not be bored. Mintpaw sighs and lays down playing dead. She took short breaths to make it look like she wasn't breathing. Mintpaw closed her eyes.

Skyburst

Skyburst trotted over to Shadowstar and sat down, ears perked towards him. She blinked at him, saying nothing, just waiting, watching as he ate at a vole. She felt energized, her claws digging in the dirt anxiously. She wriggled where she sat until she couldn't keep quiet anymore. "When do you wanna leave?" She burst out, excited. She had been bored all day, and being bored was not fun. At all. It was even less fun than night watch, and night watch was BORING. So, she had to have been extremely bored to be this excited about a hunting patrol.

Shadowstar blinked again. Slowly. The scent of the vole was in his nose already. His mouth was LITERALLY OPEN, about to take a bite. And Skyburst decides to walk up to him and start blabbing about the hunting patrol. "Skyburst!" he said, slightly louder than he should have. He sighed, along with a slight growl. "Soon, Skyburst, soon." Shadowstar was honestly a bit tired of being so...needed. Every cat wanted to be talking to him at once, it was very hard to handle them all at once. "As soon as I finish my half of the vole, we can leave." He looked apologetically at Iristail. "I'm very sorry Iristail, we're going to have to continue this conversation later. I'm afraid that my duties as a leader and a warrior keep me very occupied, much more than I would like to admit sometimes," he said to the pretty she-cat softly.

He took a few more bites of the vole, leaving plenty for Iristail and still filling his belly. Standing up, he prodded Skyburst's side with his paw. "Alright, I suppose we can leave now. Hey Rainpaw!" he called to the apprentice. "If you're ready to go, fetch Littlestorm!" He looked to Skyburst once more. "A moment ago he was complaining about not being set to train with Lilypaw," he chucked. "Apprentices these days, trying to find mates before they can even have one," he joked. Little did he know...

Skyburst

Skyburst batted her eyes innocently at Shadowstar and said sweetly, "Whaaat? I'm just bored." She mewed, waiting for him to finish his vole and apologize to Iristail. She bared her teeth at him and let out a playful hiss as he prodded her and looked up, her eyes finding Rainpaw while Shadowstar told her about his love life with Lilypaw. She chuckled at what he had said about the apprentices. "Young love." She replied with a small smile. Luckily for her, she didn't have to worry about that...at all, thank Starclan. "Well come on let's go!" She told him, trotting over to the den, and looking back to see if he was coming, giving an impatient flick of her tail.

Rainpaw nodded and then turned his head to Sunfur. "Hey any luck with him yet? Cause your still mateless." Rainpaw said, said pointing at Shadowstar with a smirk on his face. Sunfur smiled nervously. "Hey Rainpaw~ You should just get going to that patrol right? Go chat with Skyburst or something!" Sunfur said, pushing Rainpaw towards the entrance of camp. Rainpaw couldn't help but laugh a little. "Hey Skyburst!" The tom greeted the she-cat.

"Hello Rainpaw!" Skyburst replied to the apprentice cheerfully. "Ready for the patrol?" She asked him, her eyes wandering back to Shadowstar, and her tail twitched impatiently. I may just have to drag that cat out of here kicking and screaming. She thought, bemused. He moves slower than a snail in the middle of Leafbare. She sighed to herself and sat down to wait.
