Just a note for all of you applying, my motto is quality over quantity; so don't pick your longest post ever if it is not the best, most well-writen piece you have done. When I say this, I want you to give me a good example! Too many applications have examples that the writer says "not my best. I usually write better," or something along these lines. I see this as lazy. Give me a good example, or I will not even look at your form.

The following members have been accepted!

Jetta

I'm not sure how lenient bliss used to be on forms, but I'm going to be cracking down a bit harder on applications. I will be looking at not only length but grammar and such; so make sure you use up to date samples! My motto is quality over quantity, so don't pick your longest post ever if it is not the best, most well-writen piece you have done. When I say this, I want you to give me a good example! Too many applications have examples that the writer says "not my best. I usually write better!". I see this as lazy. Give me a good example, or I will not even look at your form. I will also be looking through some of your RP's.

Please do not be discouraged by this, or if you are not accepted. Just work on your writing, and come back in a month or so. c: Roleplay is meant to be enjoyed, so please, just have fun with it!

If you are not on this list, please do not be offended. You are very close to meeting the unspoken requirements. Take some time to practice and remember to reapply soon! c:
If you have any further questions, please PM me!

Also, a small note to everyone, if you have not been accepted, do not post after you've posted your form until you have been accepted!
Thanks! c:

Do you all think I am being to harsh with applications? I'd just like some feedback from some of you members. ^^ Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

I agree with you. Semi literacy is not just determined by length but quality as well. I don't think you're being overly harsh. In fact, congrats for digging your heels in. I think by setting a specific bar people will be drive to work up to a quality semi literate post.

I don't think that you're being too harsh at all. This club is meant for people who are comfortable with semi-literate roleplays, and I know that some of you guys are even better than that. If someone wants in, they need to be qualified. Otherwise, what is the point of having an application?

No, I think you're doing a fine job ^^ This is a club for semi-litterate+, and it seems so hard to find them that I do think that it the qualifications do need to be a bit higher... Otherwise, what would be the point?

Hey, no problem. And that is actually my normal length post. But it is what I post on proboards roleplay sites and have being doing that length for the past couple of years. I use this on one of my recently-dead roleplay sites that I owned for three years.
I can't find many people on CS willing to do that length so none of my latest posts on here are going to reflect that.
So. I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for.

EDIT:
Ah. I was added. Thank you.
Your post confused me slightly but I re-read it and understood.

Would anyone be interesting in an Afterlife/Reborn/Reincarnation RP? It'd be Semi-Lit, though a high Semi-Lit. If no one is, I'll make it lower and just leave it on the form in case anyone lower wants to join XD Felt like asking you all first though :D

That sounds... interesting. I'd have to take a look at it since I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about.

Hmm, well, I was thinking like the character, you, have died by something (Doesn't really matter in this case) and have been reborn. But, you were reborn to a family of your most hated enemy/ anyone you hated with passion. You have to deal with it from your life on, but you remember everything.
In that, there is a lot of freedom, but some limits.
Another idea I had was:
You died and were reborn, but you were reborn in a time far from where you died (Such as being from Victorian Age to the age of now) and you have to resettle to it and try to come to the time.

I'm open for ideas as well :D

Anyone else interested?

Also, if there's been a long enough period of time since the last post, at the bottom of the page there'll be a button that says bump topic and it bumps it.

I agree one-hundred percent! This is for semi-literate and up. I guess my advice—if I may—would be to specify what your idea of semi-literate means. I recently found a role play where semi-lit means two or more sentances. This might clarify things a bit more.

Alright, glad you all think I'm not being too harsh. ^^
Oh, and thank you [ angel. ]; that's a good idea. XD I'll add some requirements, or more or less what I will be looking for in forms, to the front. ^^
