Eagletalon's gaze followed the direction that Mistfall had pointed. "Good," he said, giving a quick nod as Quailheart joined them. He blinked, his tail flickering over the ground. "So, are we just going around the forest?" he asked. "Probably just as well, since we can make sure that loner isn't snooping around. If he is, we can chase the crazy fleabag off for trespassing," he added, standing up. His gaze flashed from Quailheart to Mistfall. "Shall we go?" he asked, turning towards the camp entrance.
Nightpaw
Nightpaw stood, tail twitching in excitement. "Wow, we're going hunting? Really?" she asked, eager to get started. I bet no other apprentices get to go hunting on thier first day of training! she thought to herself. "I hope I'll do alright," she added, glancing down at her paws. "Er, who else is going?" she asked, glancing up at Dawnbreeze with a smile. This should be fun!
Mistfall and Quailheart"I'm ready, you?" Mistfall said with a questioning glance at Quailheart.
Quailheart had to wait a moment, catching his breath from his sprint across the camp.
"Yea, all ready." He said, also turning towards the entrance.
Mistfall nodded and started towards the entrance, since neither of the toms had gone forward to start out yet.
Can't wait to get somefresh air, and feel the moss underneath my feet at last. She thought fondly of their clan's forests. They were her favorite places to be, with the trees surrounding her in every direction. Her thoughts were cut short as she stopped to wait by the entrance for the rest of the patrol.
((Hope you don't mind this style of post when two of my cats are talking to each other, I find it makes posts much neater than putting in a dozen headings. This one wouldn't have been too bad with only three sections, but others I've done before would have to have many more than that.))
Dawnbreeze"We'll be working on our hunting moves in the field, since we are going to start training right away. My sister is actually going to take over the patrol." Dawnbreeze explained. "Though I will make sure you still get to smell all of the smells of our territory you will need to know right away." Dawnbreeze was not the best at explaining things, she knew, but she had seen her apprentice playing as a kit, and knew that she was a clever young she-cat, so hoped her explanation would be good enough.
Starbase Typhon is a roleplay run by me, off site. It is Star Trek based (but not the new movies, as you will see) and it definetly needs people who are willing to be active, write with great grammar, and of course, are semi-literate or above. Format is play by Nova, which involves multi-person posts that are a different way of doing things that here of CS. But it's lots of fun, and we need long term people who will help us complete our missions. As the commanding officer of Typhon, I invite anyone who would like to give it a try to please apply!
