Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

A silver Range Rover pulled up into the drive of Pine Lodge Academy, neatly avoiding the other cars that were there. A girl stepped out of the back seats excitedly, her black leather boots that sat closely to her calf up to below her knees hopped around the place. Another young adult, a boy this time, stepping out of the passengers seat, stretching his arms and legs from the long journey. A rather elderly man neatly got out of the drivers seat, dressed smartly in a casual suit. "Would you like your luggage and things now, or later James?" He asked politely, as he looked around in wonder at the place. The boy, James, turned to face him and replied, "We'll have a look around if that's okay, Harold." The man nodded twice, before getting back into the car to read a copy of the latest newspaper. James looked around, his pair of long black leather riding boots hardly making a sound on the gravelly ground.

"Where shall we go first Alexa?" James asked the girl, who was clearly absorbed in some horse fantasy. She snapped out of her daydream, a smile beaming on her face. "I can't actually believe we're here!" She exclaimed, trying to glance at everything at once. James allowed himself a small smile; the two had worked hard for a place at Pine Lodge Academy and it was nice to know that their hard work had paid off. "Shall we visit the stables and pastures first? I'd really like to see the horses." He said with contained excitement. James didn't really like showing people how he truly felt, but Alexa seemed to understand and started walking briskly towards the big barns, beckoning him to follow.

Alexa inhaled the fresh smells of hay and straw, the smell of blossoms from flowers blowing towards her. They walked up the aisles, stroking horses that poked their heads over their doors. The majestic head of a beautiful grey mare aught James' eye as he quickly read the nameplate: Dancing Queen. Alexa was affectionately stroking a big dark bay, rubbing him behind the ears. "Shall we go back? There's suppose to be a meeting soon for newcomers and I really don't want to be late!" Finally giving the dark bay a good pat, she quickly hurried back towards the courtyard with James.

Skye smiled weakly as she looked with twinkling bright eyes at the cute, convincing beagle pup, and placed him back down on the floor, walking over to the mini-fridge. She sighed, opening it and just closing her own eyes, taking in the coolness; since it was pretty hot outside. After a few long cooling minutes, the redhead blinked and just pulled two cold cans of coke out, one for her, one for Ani. She shut the mini-fridge and walked back into the lounge.

"Ani?" Skye called out, yawning and opening her own can, but not drinking it just yet. She stared through the lounge room's window and shook her head, chuckling slightly and then taking a sip of her fresh coke. Rolling her crystal-clear blue eyes, she tapped on the window and motioned for her twin, who was relaxing in the sun and goofing around with the haflinger pony, to come into the meeting room. It was already 11AM, she the clock in the lounge.

Walking into the meeting room, just a couple of doors away from the lounge in the hall-way, Skye sighed at the old and dusty shelves; oh well, she thought, placing both her and Ani's coke on the window-sill, before sitting down at end of the dark wooden table and looking at the list of who was assigned to who. She calmly waited for everyone to arrive.

∇ Asael had been sat outside for the past moments and happened to glance at the time, he decided to head to the meeting room. He strolled down the hallways until he came to the place and waited outside for the others, flicking his hair absentmindedly as he leant against the wall .Δ

♘Jazz sighed, looking through the halls, bored. He shrugged, not knowing what to do, he decided to to find the place where they'd hold the meeting. He lazily walked forward, scuffing his feet on the tile floor. He stopped and backed up a few paces, seeing a room with a guy standing in and a sign that had a "New Riders, here," stuck on the door. He pulled it open, walking in shoving his hands in his pocket, taking a glance around. He walked over to the guy on the wall, "Uh, hey, this is the meeting room, right? Or am I as hopelessly lost as I think I am?" he asked, standing a few feet away from him. He'd been here for about an hour, and meet no one, he thought he'd try his luck at making a few friends.♞

∇ Asael turned to the boy who had walked past "I'm guessing so" he replied simply with a small smile "I'm Asael by the way, Asael Bielski" he said politely, holding out his hand for the other to shake, Atleast he was getting know someone .Δ

Kia walked towards building that where everyone must be staying and of course the meeting was going to be held. Walking in she felt kinda strange since she did not really have a clue where the room was that they were supposed to have the meeting in. Of course she made it harder then it seemed and found it pretty quick. It helped that she was not the first one there since she would have felt on edge as if she had done something wrong.

Entering the room Kia saw two guys and a girl who must be in charge. Truth was her memory was dead, no way would she have even come up with what to say right now. Everything that had happened in the past few hours was like a daze and she was nervous. Sitting down she looked down not really sure what to say or do.

Walking out of the stable Parker put his hands in his pockets and looked at a few of the other students heading towards the main building. The meeting must be starting soon if everyone was heading that way. As he entered the place he was relaxed and shocked at the same time, it was like one of those places you see in movies. Soon he was at a room which had a sign posted on it and he nodded to himself, this was it.

♘Jazz chuckled, nodding, "I hope so," he said running a hand through his hair. He smile, "Cool name, it's unique. I'm Jason Hale, but just call me Jazz," he responded, shaking the boys hand firmly. His father always did say, 'the handshake that makes the man,' which really made no sense, but it was important to his father, so he always had firm handshakes.♞

Ava was bored out of her bracket when would this darned meeting start it better be worth it she muttered. She sighed sitting on the couch was no fun at all. But neither was making new friends so she just got up to get something to drink. She went to the mini fridge and pulled out a vitamin water flavor XXX she had always liked those drinks never been fond of soda in the least. Ava glimpsed around no one she could talk to about horses..? She got up and headed outside to see the new comers. The sky was lightly shaded. "I guess this is what I get for being in Canada." she mumbled to herself. This place was hopeless. No one was here besides weird horse rider, not that she wasn't a horse rider but she wasn't exactly weird. She was classy. That was a word you could call Ava classy she enjoyed being called it too.
