Funsized, This is where I come in ^^ Too bad i'm late and it's already been redlines. The only thing is something bothers me about the shoulders, but I can't put my finger on what. Sorry XD

Cosmic, Beautiful redline, it's about perfect ^^ the boobs are fine, not everyone has a perfect body. The headshot looks great, the only thing is the neck seems a little too long. Its good though, great job ^^

I need help myself.

I'm suppose to make a stop motion or animation for my teacher with two friends. It's of a Vocaloid song, but were having trouble. We don't know if we should either make a lot of Drawings, or take pictures. Were both good at art, and that won't be the problem. The thing is, if we do the pictures, we won't have all the necessary things such as a BG or clothing. If we draw it all, it might take too long.
How long does it normally take, for those of you, who have made Animations? Ours will be full traditional and shows about 7 scenes. The actual thing will be about a few minutes long. We have a month to work on it, so will we be able to do it?

Funsized, bring the chin up a little bit and slant the shoulders in so that they're more narrow and she'll look more feminine :)

@ Snow911~ Usually it takes me a week to make half a minute comfortably. Some people do more or less (more would mean little sleep for me) For quality video, it's usually around 24 fps (frames-per-second). That's 1440 frames for a minute of video (which can be considered "A LOT" lol). There are many variables that should be considered: how complex is the background? how many characters in the frame at once? is it B&W or color? how detailed is/are the character(s)? how nice does it have to look? how smooth does it have to be? is there much action? If it's a very simple it usually takes less time than a complex one, of course! There are a lot of variables that take effect and it's hard to figure out if you can TRULY do it. ^^ If I didn't quite answer anything or help, let me know and I'll go more in depth. [:
note~ I'm not a super epic animation designer who does this for a living and stuff. But I dabble in it ^^; hope that's alright!

Almost forgot, I'm doing an art request and I've realized I /REALLY/ need help with anatomy and things of that nature. *I haven't colored yet because I want to fix up the base first. If you could redline, critique, or anything helpful you'd be a savior. OTL

@FieryFilly & ChiCha: i would say to make the front paws look more like the back, so they arent and bold, and you can see joints C:
i think its good so far though!

I only have time for one set of redlines/crits at the moment, sorry to everyone else. If I get time later on I'll get back to you.

Everyone who knows me also knows that I don't draw horses, so do take my advice with a bit of salt please^^'.
I redlined your drawing, or I drew something next to it at least. I didn't want to mess up the chubby style you draw in. and I know I could never do it justice if I tried to replicate it, so I just drew something similar next to it. I hope you can still get some help out from it.
A horse has a proportionally quite small head and long legs, which might make horses look a bit funny when chubbiefied. However, I think a straighter and squarer face with some focus on the chin and chin bones would be able to imporve the horsyness. Perhaps the legs could be slightly longer too? Horses also have a barrel shaped body which fits perfectly with your style, you've got that part dow really nicen^^. I love the you already included the extra set of shoulders, but you could perhaps make them stand out a little more, I think it'd make the front half of the horse look less crammed. The hind legs in your drawing looks a little chunky compared to the front legs.
All in all, I'm really impressed with anyone who draws horses, it took me forever to even put together my quite terrible attempt of a redline. Hooves. They are my worst enemy now.

That is a lot of slides XD So, I was thinking, to save myself the trouble, that I can take a picture of one pose, copy and paste to make it two pictures, and on one of them slightly move whatever part of the body I need to move? How do other people do it. I mean, you see on some videos how the animations are perfect. Thankyou for your help. Also, is there a free site or program that will allow me to do this animation? Thanks.

Sorry I can't help anyone, rushing this post and I'm being called in to get my braces on ^^ I'll help someone out after.

That would help though just round the ends of the shoulders a bit instead of having them kinda boxed. You should thin the waist a bit as well so she has a bit more figure. Id make a quick redline but im not home. Hope that helped.

@ Snow~That IS, especially it only being for a minute xD That would work; assuming the art is digital. That's what I normally do; copy the previous image, paste it, then edit as needed. Most have lots of experience or amazingly great programs (ones I couldn't possibly afford). It's not a problem [: I use the animator that Bamboo gives you with a wacom board.. I think there's a site called Iaza... But I'm pretty sure it only goes to animating like 50 frames altogether. Sorry I couldn't help there!

@ funsized~ thanks for the help! I'll try it!
