"Alexa how long are you going to be?" James asked, picking grass out of the meadow grounds as he sat cross-legged, leaning against Bolt's stomach. The gelding had gotten bored of waiting and laid down instead, watching the two. Alexa was nearly breaking sweat as Silver tore at grass before dashing off across the meadow when Alexa got even close. "Yes, I'm trying - I'm not going to force her to come in." Alexa replied, rather irritated at James' unwillingness to help her. She finally admitted defeat, giving Silver a final look. James muttered, "Finally!" under his breath before urging Bolt to get up. The three left the field, leaving a few other horses in the field, including Silver.

"Why don't we try bribing her with a feed? She can't have feed in the field so she has to come in?" James wondered, as Bolt munched happily on his food whilst James groomed him. Alexa sat on his stable box outside, swinging her legs, "Maybe," she replied shortly. "There's still the riders meeting so I'll catch her later. She'll get a feed after her ride." James concealed a sigh, before carrying on grooming Bolt.

Jessica sighed, looking at her watch. It was just about that time, for the meeting of course. She went to her office, and began to page everyone to the barn "Good Morning!" she greeted over the intercom "As you all know, we will be having a meeting in the barn for all riders. It will be starting in ten minutes." she said, pausing to look at Emily who handed her something. She nodded a thank you to her neice and continued "After the meeting we will be going on a group trail ride, more details will be given during the meeting. Thank you." she said, clicking the intercom off. She then went to work, filing the peice of paper Emily had given her, while she waited for the riders to gather.

I looked around; there were so many other riders bustling around as we gathered in the barn for the riders' meeting. I was quite amazed, but I stayed silent and kept to myself. I didn't have friends here yet; I basically just arrived. I could see Sky's nose peeking through his stall opening, and I chuckled a little. All the horses were curious about what was going on, I realised. I was curious, too, actually, but I didn't show it. Shyness overtook me and I just stood there, against a wooden plank dividing two stalls. I watched as everyone scurried around to get to a comfortable place. This is going to be a long day, I thought to myself, not that I really cared anyways, but still.
