Isabelle shook her head. "No, don't feel bad. The simplest things remind me of them; it's really not your fault that I thought of him." She smiled reassuringly, though she still seemed to be feeling shy.

Rye walked a bit further and then jumped as high as he could, grabbing the bottom rung of a rusty fire escape ladder and pulling it down with his body weight. "After you," he said, trying to be polite.

She looked at it "no go on" she held up her hands and lifted into the sky a bit she took herself to where it ended

"Impressive," Rye muttered under his breath. He climned the fire escape easilly and when he was at the top he gestured around. A hammock hung on one side of the building and somebody had set several potted plants out, but Rye's interest was in the view.

She sat on the edge of the building not really paying atention watching the people below

"I like it up here," he said. "Being able to see everything around me." He nodded to himself. "It's comforting."

"its nice but i like blending in iv been shot at way tomany times to pick obvious spots like roof tops" she said

Rye shrugged. "Good point," he said. "When people look for me they tend to look in hiding places first. In the open isnthe last place theyd expect to find me." He smiled his small, sarcastic, bitter smile.

She nodded quietly and looked over at him and watched him she got up and went to him "so is this all you wanted to show me?"
