Jo nodded. "Fair enough." She readied her stance again. "Alright, you try to unbalance me." She ignighted her lightsaber again and waited. "Whenever you're ready."

Kanar didn't hesitate. He moved before she could even finish her last sentence. He ran at her and jumped right over her at the last minute. He landed behind her and wheeled around before she could catch him from behind. He aimed a kick at the backs of her knees.

Jo grinned as Kanar lept over her head. "Very good, take advantage of your opponent's weaknesses." Her knees buckled as Kanar kicked her and she stumbled forwards a few steps. After a few second's confusion she whirled around quite satisfied. "Excellent. Unbalancing your opponent is always a easy way to land a few blows."

Really? I didn't know that. Kanar thought sarcastically. He got back into a ready stance and watched Jo carefully. He didn't know how agile she was, but hopefully he could put his natural agility to good use in this fight. Mirialans were famous for their speed and flexibility.

Jo glared. "I can any thoughts related to me you know." Shaking her head she pulled out her second lightsaber. "Next I'd like to see how well you block." She dashed forward, spinning her red saber and slashing with her yellow.

Kanar was about to think something sarcastic back at her, but then she came at her, spinning and slashing her sabers. He held his saber out sideways to block Jo's attacks. He pushed on his blade and took a step back to break the blade-lock.

Jo grinned and continued to advance, slashing on both sides now. "Now, try to dissarm me." She said, a determined look in her eyes.

Kanar muttered a curse under his breath. Not seeing how he could block both of the sabers, he did a back flip out of reach. He lunged forward and his blade clashed with Jo's. How was he supposed to disarm her. He worked over that problem in his mind while staying focused to make sure he didn't get his hand cut off.

Jo continued to swirl her sabers around, lashing out one after the other. Come on Kanar, find the pattern! She advanced lunging, swinging, and a twirling retreat. Lung, swing, retract. Lung, swing, retract.

Kanar narrowed his eyes as he noticed the pattern. He timed her moves and then struck. He blocked her swing and locked her sabers against his. He gave his blade a forceful turn that clashed Jo's sabers together in a tangled mess. Then with a quick, hard twist he managed to knock one of Jo's sabers out of her hand. He used the Force to push it away since he didn't want to hinder himself by using two sabers.
