Matthew heard a sound downstairs and slowly stood up. He walked downstairs, seeing through a window it was Lexi. He ran down and opened the door, feeling a little bit strange because it was Lexi's own house.

Lexi walked inside, completely soaked from the rain

Matthew closed the door, immediately taking his jacket of and putting it over Lexi's shoulders.

Lexi smiled slightly and wrapped it around herself tightly. "Th-Thanks..." she stuttered with a shiver.

Matthew gently kissed her cheek.
"No problem." he whispered.

"I need to change..." Lexi sighed, slowly sauntering toward the stairs.

Matthew nodded.
"I'll wait here." he said, smiling. Matthew walked towards the couch and sat down.

Lexi slowly got upstairs and and changed into jeans and a fitted v-neck. She ran back downstairs and plopped on the couch next to Matthew.

Matthew looked at her.
"Still cold?" he asked carefully.

Lexi nodded her hand and cuddled up against him.
