Things that annoy you.

Coal: Trust me, I'm not. >.< It happens a lot more on this other forum I go on, but I've also seen it here. I don't see how you can find it funny that your sibling's in the hospital.

Jeez...that's just...so immature. :/ I don't even know how to express my opinion on this subject...x.x;;

On a completely different subject, it annoys me when people refuse to believe you even if you're telling the truth and don't normally (if ever) lie to them. >.> I just showed my best friend the sunset I drew in oekaki because she's my [very harsh] art critic, and she goes "Pssh, you didn't draw that, it's a photo." So I said "No it's not, look at the lines" and she replied "Yeah right, like you know how to draw lines that small." ;^;

on that note, indeed thats very annoying, I've had that happen a couple times. But on the subject of art critiques, I have a friend who can draw anime pretty well. I mean she's great and all, but I'm starting to catch up to her, so whenever she Steals my drawing(Yes she actually sneaks in to my folder and takes them), she scoffs at them and tells me they suck because she feels threatened that I'm starting to draw as well as her. Then one day she said

This is going to sound really selfish, but I think people always give you the credit for being the better artist.

I just had to point this out, but we aren't that popular, so the popular girls always swing around in their chairs and swoon over her drawing while I sit in the back of the class room watching with my eyebrows raised.

Have I been posting too much? sorry in a little bit of a bad mood.

and then that ugly thing on petvill, would run away, that loading takes forever.

and Crowdstar's games crash, I open happypets and it'll crash 3 times in a half hour.

oekaki is good for that if you can use it well. i can't use it like 4 or 5 star rooms on oekaki centeral. i never went back after..going back once. because their interface i don't like. and my stuff looks like your typical 11 year old with mspaint.

Someone locked me in the bathroom when I was taking a shower and put Vaseline on all the doorknobs :/ And apparently locked a lot of the doors, too, so now I'm listening to everyone run around trying to find keys.

Those popular girls can get annoying too. I can draw pretty well with pencil, marker, etc but not nearly as well as some of the other people at my art class in school. For some reason these popular girls keep coming over to my desk to gawk at the drawing I'm working on, even when my friend's drawing is a million times better. And it's so incredibly obvious that they aren't being sincere about their compliments, but it makes my friend feel really bad about her drawing >.<

I get really annoyed around people that slack off yet always get better grades than the people that worked their butt off. Usually, they are nice people and are humble. But occasionally, that person is stuck-up about it and I feel like punching them, even though I shouldn't. D'x
My dad keeps telling me that eventually, they'll have to work for a good grade like the rest of us. It still annoys me though.

You aren't the only one in a bad mood. xD I really need to rant a bit, too...

That reminds me of one time three years ago (yeah, I'm digging way back) when I went to the beach with my best friend. She was randomly interested in learning how to draw lions TLK-style (which is what I did back then, although now that I look back...I was horrible.....xD). So, I drew a picture step-by-step and had to help her along the way a million times because she doesn't have the ability like I do to create exact replicas of things. Later that night, we got into a fight over who knows what, and she said "You're just jealous because I can draw lions just as well as you now. I could have become an artist if I'd decided to go down that path." I mean, come on. She did a very poor job of copying something that came out of my own head, and her normal art was pretty bad, too.

In my opinion, being good at art is almost always a talent you're either born with or not. For example, I have always been able to duplicate things if I see them, and I astonish my art teacher and classmates with my realism because it's something I was born able to do. However, I've had to work for YEARS at being able to create cartoonized drawings and STILL can't do it too well because creating things from my own head is a skill I was not gifted. >.>;;

I was babysitting my 2 brothers and little sister and I accidentally locked me and my brothers out of the house.. My sister is 3 and couldn't figure out what we were trying to tell her to do... Thankfully I got a key from the neighbors before my mom got home ^^;

Coal-Indeed some people are like that, too cocky and 'up' with themselves, thats how my friend is. I indeed think being good with art is a talent, I am the exact opposite of you, Cartoon drawing has always come easily, but I have the same ability to draw what I see.

Azalea-For the people who work their butts off(me being a slacker myself, though I'm pretty smart just don't apply myself), it does suck. I had a girl last year, she was extremely rich, and knew all these stars, she was also very stuck up and pretty dumb(the typical Aspen Colorado steryo-type). She got straight A's because she got other people to practically give her the answers. . .
