James frowned. "I'm sorry to hear that." He said and looked down at the table for a moment. "Were you planning to join a pack?" He asked, he began playing with the zipper of his jacket, twirling it between his fingers. He set his open hand under his chin, watching her.

**Her head came up to look directly into his eyes** Yeah...i hope to. **she stared at him as he put his head in his hands and watched her. She caught herself staring again and glanced away, heat coming to her face, not being able to hide it behind fur**

James smiled encouragingly at her as she looked up to him. He noticed her face get hot as she glanced away and he thought he was doing something wrong. He leaned back and scratched his head. "Lets go meet Alix, shes our Beta. She wanted to meet you." He said and smiled lightly. "I would like you to join the pack." He added and stood up, pushing the chair under the table. "Would you like to?" He added hesitantly, hoping not to have forced the option onto her.

James eyes brightened and he nodded. "Yes, if you choose to." He said and looked down at her from his die of the table. He crossed his arms, holding in his excitement for a new pack member. They had kicked out a few not to long ago, for various reasons. He frowned slightly at the thought but regained his composure of happiness for her.

**She couldn't hold in her happiness for long as she leaped over and hugged him tightly,** Yes! Thank you! **she held back happy tears as she hugged him, unaware of what she was doing** ((lol))

[Well, high schoolers are usually under 18, seniors in high school are around 17-18... anything older and they're in collage. Your charrie could go to a close collage or something if they're too old to go to high school. {As a side note, I had Alix get her GED, which means she took a giant test and passed, so she doesn't have to go to school anymore.} Anyways, Alix basically skipped school to talk to James about getting into collage, and Alix found out that James brought some loner werewolf and allowed the loner to join the pack. That's all I've got.]

"Geez, did he ask you to marry him or something?" Alix stood at the door, a wry smile on her face. She'd come back for more marshmallows, as she'd eaten hers already. Although she'd heard him ask her to join the pack, she couldn't help teasing James just a little. She closed the door behind her, a playful light in her eyes. "I'm just teasing." She assured them before either of them could deny anything. "I heard. Welcome to the pack." She put the cup down on the table and turned to rummage around for the marshmallow bag, which she quickly found. She put a couple in her cup and leaned back against the counter, holding her cup in both hands. She ran through the questions she could ask now in her head, then narrowed her eyes slightly, before pulling out a notebook from her back pocket and pulling a pen from behind her ear. "Can I have your full name, age, and adress of the place you're staying, please? I have to add you to the pack directory, let Aden know about you before the rest of the pack finds out... don't be surprised if a few random people show up at your house to meet you. If they smell like they're Were, then they probably are." She explained, then stopped, sheepishly looking down at her pad of paper. "Sorry, I'm rambling." She let out a huff of air, a very wolfish sigh. Then she poised her pen above her paper and glanced up expectantly at the other girl.

If anyone wants to know why James is so friendly ^^; Its cause i think wolves often are and alphas play with other members and stuff, sometimes acting as a lower wolf :3 [that's what i read at least heh])

James started to chuckle and couldn't help but hug her back slightly. At the sound of Alixs voice he rolled his eyes playfully and looked at her. He opened his mouth to say something back at her but she had already explained she was teasing and went on. He couldn't help but laughing at her when she pulled out the pen and paper. "Oh my, we have a journalist in our midst." He said with a playful grin aimed at her. He looked at the newly joined pack member then to Alix "She will stay with us now, everyone stays together." He added the last part with a nod. He saw her expectant look and sighed good-naturedly "Don't attack her with your questions okay? I'm going to tell the pack there will be a hunt tonight." With that, he left the kitchen, closing the back door behind him. When he stepped on to the grassy ground he took his jacket off and shifted. He tilted his head back and howled, telling the pack that there was going to be a pack hunt tonight.
