I have a nearly 11 year old white cat, for the last few years his ears and nose have been blackened and scabby, we took him to the vet recently and we were told it was sunburn and if it didn't stop he'll get cancer, we were told to bath his ears and nose in lukewarm water and put suncream on them on hot days. Only problem is he's a bit on the wild side and certainly doesn't like his ears and nose touched. Does anyone else have this problem? Any tips on how to keep him calm/still while I try to clean him up a bit?

This looks like my old dog Ebony, I loves it

Unless you have papers, you have a domestic short/medium/longhair. Because of the way cat breeds were (and still are) created, just because your cat has traits of x or y breed doesn't mean they have it in their close family history. Nearly all moggies are heinz57's :3
Saff is a DSH who has a screechy nonstop meow and who goes limp when held. However the two breeds that's common in (siamese and ragdolls) look nothing like her and are pointed, where she's a spotted tabby. She could have 20 or more different breeds in her on top of those two stand-out traits, or she could be a fluke and not have any Siamese or Ragdoll in her.
