"I can walk by myself." Sandra growled. She didn't exactly know if she was going in the right direction but she was walking forward. She felt the sand under her paws grow less and less damp so she assumed she must be heading the right way. "Alive and breathing don't necessarily mean alright. It might just mean she isn't far from death." Sandra added.

[Mario]

Angel slowly woke up, moaning, but not opening her eyes.

Sandra twitched her ears at the sound of moaning. She began walking toward the noise, her nose low to the ground. When she was walking she suddenly felt something underneath her paw. A wet, fluffy object she had stepped on. She instantly took her paw off assuming it must be Angel. "Angel? Are you alright?" Sandra asked, sitting down on the sand. She hoped this was Angel, but of course couldn't know for sure. Being blind made it very hard to tell.

Angel opened her eyes and briefly raised her head toward Sandra, before dropping it back to the ground. "Mama, I guess I'm okay." She coughed out water, briefly sputtering. "But are you okay?"

"I'm alright. Odds are my vision will come back soon." Sandra replied. She picked up her paw and rubbed it against her bleeding eye to try to tell if it was bad. She felt some blood but of course couldn't see how much. Sandra yawned, it would probably be a good idea to go to the stream and have one of the others assess her eye.

[Apocalyptic_Punk]

Punk returned and with a broken coconut in his mouth, filled with water, he sighed when he saw Sandra had moved. "Just because your injured does not mean I'm gonna chase you all over the forest everytime you get the hankering to go off," He stated after setting the Coconut down. "If someone who is taking care of you, you should definitly stay where they ask you to stay, so you know, you don't become pray." He concluded.

Angel dragged herself over to Sandra and curled up next to her.

But I don't want to be taken care of. Sandra sighed. Ever since she was a pup she always took care of herself, she would hunt for herself, find herself a territory and manage herself, she never needed to be babied. Well, more that she didn't have the chance to be babied. Her master died when she was very young, so since then she only had herself to rely on. So she had to learn that she couldn't sit back and be cared for by someone else. That she had to take care of herself. And because of that it made her independent. And now Sandra sat there, everyone expecting her to be taken care of.

Sandra looked down at the pup. Well, looked is the wrong word as she couldn't see. But she turned her head facing the pup so it appeared as if she were looking. Sandra didn't know if she'd ever see again, she was worried. She wasn't going to survive without sight. But the feeling of Angel's heartbeat calmed the terrier somewhat.

[Apocalyptic_Punk]

Punk sighed and laid down in front of Sandra. "Alright, let me see that eye of yours," He said calmly looking at the pup then sighing softly. "Look I know you wanna take care of yourself, but its times like these, that you'll do better for yourself and the pup by accepting help," What was he saying, this wasn't his concern, he should just go back to his cave, he paused no he was going to offer the cave to the other dogs, it would be good shelter. He snapped absently at the air then shook his head hard more blood spraying out of his mangled ear.

"Fine." Sandra groaned. She felt a drop of blood hit her shoulder. Was Punk bleeding? Sandra had no way to tell. She rubbed it off of her with her paw and turned her head back towards Punk. The terrier was staring intently into the darkness of being blind, hoping she could somehow see how bad the brute was hurt. But of course, Sandra only saw darkness.
