Kohana smiled slightly as a smirk began to cross the fae's face. She bounced lightly, trying to keep her small body from sinking ino the belly-deep snow. The full moon cast a silver light that bounced from Kohana's leaf-green eyes, tinting her pelt a silverish color. Perhaps she could befriend this wolf. After all, who else was left?
"I guess so." The fae sai simply, tilting her head in question. "So tell me, what's your name?" As the fae's tail swayed graciously from side to side, Kohana felt a brief twinge of doubt prick at her pads. Was she really going to trust this wolf so easiy? Here she was, having a conversation with a wolf she had no background on. Hm, might as well find out about her. Kohana thought after a brief moment, shrugging inwardly.
"Kohana." she answered, gazing up at the fae with wide eyes. "What's your name?"

Suddenly, Yumiko stopped dead in his tracks as he listened to Fall speak. "Don't worry, if my Pack finds out about me loving a fox, I'll fight for the right for us to be together." she said, flicking her ears. A grin formed on her face and she put a paw on his, gently laying her tail atop his own. "You're only a month older than me..." she barked softly.
To be honest, Yumiko had hardly even heard the second part of her sentence; he was too wraped up in the first. "Technically I'm two months older." His sly tongue worked his magic while his brain turned to mush. He wasn't sure if he had heard Fall correctly, but he was hoping to God that he had.
"You... You love me?" Yumiko's voice was barely a whisper and he gazed down at Fall with amber pools. Brown vs. Orange, Fox and Fae, two polar opposites who just happened to be perfectly imperfect for each other.~

Eli hadn't fully forgotten about the whole maybe-I'm-lonely thing, but he had pushed it to the back of his mind, letting it harbor a space in his memory that he did not pay much attention to. Just then, a blue jay fluttered from the trees and perched itself right on his shoulder. He was surprised by the boldness of this bird; Usually, if a big creature were to go within even yards of a bird, it would flee immediately. But this bird had come to him. Why? Perhaps it was a sign. Maybe fate had sent the bird to him for a reason. He smiled at the bird, who tweeted a soft tune in reply. "Why hello there, little bird." he said. The bird cocked its head to the side, beady black eyes glistening with light. "Are you going to stay with me?" he inquired, though he was fully away that the bird could not reply.

To Eli's surprise, the bird bobbed its head up and down. Surely that was coincidental. "Would you like a name, little bird?" he asked. Again, the bird bobbed its head. It could still be a coincidence. "Alright. Are you male?" the bird, once again catching Eli off-guard, swept its head to each side, as if it were shaking its head. "So you're a little girl." he said, smiling, and the bird bobbed her head up and down. "Okay. How about... Samantha?" he suggested. She swept her head back and forth. "Okay, what about Xanthia?" the bird seemed to consider it for a moment, then shook her head. "Hmm... Oh, I've got it! I'll call you Blu! B-L-U." the bird now nodded her head, hopping up and down excitedly.
