One more thing before I bolt, though it's not ten posts back the creature that was created, with the beige and brown? I really liked his design, but I agree they would look a bit better if they were faded a smudge. SMIDGE! XD Anyways, always seeking assistance!

I need some shading help... Other than that I am currently all clear.

Neelix, I redlined (blue lined? /bad joke) that for you. Its hard to offer specific advice because it is a different species, but I liked the pose idea that you had. With the pose, I tweaked it slightly (:x), I brought the ears up just a little bit and cocked the head (going off of the canine idea) to add interest to the idea of looking up. You said you were having trouble with the tail, the general position of the tail would go along with a somewhat confident/ curious pose.

On the legs, I wanted to point out that when one side goes forward, the other goes back. You can see that here. With the leg length, I noticed the legs were shorter than usual. The correct length would depend on what your species does, if it is a burrower (like a dachshund) it would need shorter legs, and a more lethargic personality lol. If it's more athletic and chases prey, it would need longer legs.

Akuma Soul, all I can think is that you must have a very steady hand lol. I love the tribal pattern and your signature is beautiful The back front paw seems a little bit small, but honestly I think it's pretty good.

@AkumaSoul- Very nice, blending in the background is very well done. The only thing i see wrong with the picture is the bottum area. When going down the back to the tail it should have a slight curve to it. Yours is a little high and the tail should go a little outwards in my opinon. But other then that, it looks great. X3

The paws DO look a bit small, now that I look at them. And the tail wasn't workin' for me, so I called it good and moved on. .3.

Akuma, it's nice but there are some few errors. Please don't judge me on how I draw, like such 'zShe can't draw wolves so she doesn't know what she is talking about'. I do know, it's just I need to practice wolves too.
But anyways. The fur is drawn on very cheesy. Its like it was just scribbled on there. You have some anatomy issues that can be fixed with studying. Try to take a little more time with your shading and make sure you know where the lightsource is. The closest leg to us is way to fat, and looks out of place. The tail is to flat on the outside.
Its nice, you have good potential ^^

@AkumaSoul@ - It's very cute, but the tail is too thin at the bottom compared to the top half, and the paws do look a little small for the legs. The head might be a smidge too small as well, but all in all, nice work. :3

Okay this'll be my first time posting here. ^^ I want to see if I might be able to get some help for anatamy and proper lighting for this:



I need to work on making my light source in the right places, and I was hoping if someone could tell me if this is fine or what I should do to possibly fix it.
If there's anything you think I might be able to improve on please let me know. ^^

Lovely Radiance, do you want me to redline that for you? I love the concept (obviously -pokes sona-), I do see a few little errors. I think the collar would probably rest on top of the arm like fins. The head needs to be sleeker, and the neck may need to be a little bit thicker for support. You did pretty well on the lighting, especially on the tail. I think a little bit more light on the belly (yellow area) would work, as well as some more subtle lighting around the head lamp (?) things.

You'd have to remind me what Redline means xD. And thank you, it's one of my new artshop additions... This is all very helpful, I agree with you that the collar should rest on the fins, that makes perfect sence. But can you define when you said the head needs to be sleeker? The neck needs to be thicker... hmm, it wouldn't make the head look small if I made the neck a tad bit larger? And more lighting around the belly and places the light from the lamps would hit makes sence too now that I look at it. ^^
