•Friendly Hawk could probably make conversation with a tree if he put his mind to it. He finds similarities and gets to know people with them. He also understands. If you're feeling down, there’s a good chance that he'll notice and come find you, even if you were trying to tear his throat out five seconds. But he would respect your space. If you say you don't want his around, then he won't be around.
•Optimistic Hawk is very optimistic. Even at the darkest of times, he manages to find an upside. But never without reason. He uses his mind to twist things slightly, making them seem better than they are. It's a talent he takes pride in, and he often makes people feel better using this skill.
•Loyal and Caring Hawk is unbelievably loyal to those that have earnt his trust. He would die for his friends and family, and would avenge them if they died or were injured. He also cares for everyone, even people that he's never met. He finds it near to impossible to hold grudges, and will get over fights in a matter of hours. However, betrayal hits his harder than most, and he finds it hard to let go of people that have hurt his. He forgives too easily, and forgets too slowly. That is his fatal flaw.
•Smart He has quite a brain. Hawk is good with tactics most of the time, although his jokes often get in the way. He doesn't do well in leader positions, but is a useful addition to a team when he's not scared/shy of the other dragons.
•Witty Despite the caring side, Hawk won't put up for teasing. He can turn jokes on you, and isn't afraid to use sarcasm to get his own back. He takes jokes nicely, and if they do hurt him, he'd never show it. He'd never, ever show it.
Deep Down
•A Worrier Hawk worries. 24/7, in fact. He worries about fitting in, about how others see him, about his past, about hunting, about survival, about his life to come. He finds it hard to relax, but covers it well.
•An Actor Hawk covers his past well. Very well. Only if you looked deep into his eyes and made his re-live the past would you see the pain and hurt of what he went through. But the rest of the time? He acts like nothing's wrong. And most of the time, nothing is wrong. But you'd never know if it was or wasn't.

Dragon's Strengths:
Hawk is a fancy flier. A very fancy flier. He has surprising amounts of speed and agility in the air for someone without wings, and has practiced it over the years. He also shows the same skill in the water, and has a fine Sonar/Echolocation sense.
Dragon's Weaknesses:
He worries way to much, and he can't protect himself so well on the ground.

Hawk's eyes are quite a sight. Beginning with a pure black pupil, they then fade into dark, dark navy, before lightening out. There is no white to his eyes, but the color fades until at the very edge of each eye there is a blueish white. Depending on his mood, you will see things in his eyes, a variety of color. Aquamarine, Navy, White, Cerulean Blue, Regular Blue, Sky Blue, Storm Blue, Sea Blue and Ocean Blue to name a few. And in those eyes you will see images of the sea, reflecting his mood. On a bad day, you would see storms, moving in his eyes, ships drowning and lightning flashing. On a calm day, you might see coral and fish, or the seaside waves. It all depends really.

Base Colors
The base color for Hawk's scales is an orangeish brown color. which remains the same for his entire body. Along his body, there are then circular/oval dark purple shapes, rimmed with black. Then, his scales ripple with red and blue, in slight faded, spray-paint like patterns along his body. His underbelly is a blueish cream color, and his scales are smaller and slightly stronger there.
His scales are thin and long, with tattered edges. They are both strong and also water-resistant.
On Ground
Out-of-water, Hawk manages pretty well. His legs are long, but also strong and muscled, and he ran run pretty fast with them. He has six long, black claws in each foot, and isn't afraid to use them. His tail is very long, and has a variety of dull, dark purple plumes along it, and eventually, it becomes plume. These are inactive. His ears are short, and the tentacles behind them lay flat.
Underwater
Underwater, Hawk is quite a sight to see. His long, plumed tail glows purple, and each individual plume is used, allowing him to have perfect directional steering. The two tentacle-like feelers lift up and float behind his ears, which gives him an excellent air for testing currents, finding prey and locating others. These can also use echo-location, and enable him to talk to some underwater animals.
