(( Sorry guys, but there is no way I can post tonight. I just got home from a regionals tournament for college baseball. It was over 108 degrees today, and I stupidly did not wear sunscreen, so now I look like a tomato and am fried to a crisp. Literally. I can barely walk. Oh, and I also almost got hit by an 80 mph line drive foul ball in the head. Almost as in very close. So I've had an eventful day and I just want to sleep. Again, sorry guys. I'll post tomorrow. If I can even move. ))

[DJ] I saw how well he handled the old guitar and I was impressed as he plucked at each string listening for the in-tune sound it should make. I was slightly insulted that he would think it could be out of tune when I check my instruments everyday. When he told me to pick a song I simply shook my head. "I asked you. I wanna see what your taste in music is. Because if you like poor music we can no longer be friends, Sweetheart," I told Kyle matter-of-factly. I waited for him to accept my stubborness and chose a song already. I needed to know what instrument was needed on my part. Whether I should play guitar, drums, keyboard, or the soft piano was up to the song he decided on.

May was all smiles for this was a day where she actually forgot everything she was running from. She had met a very nice, (and attractive), guy, and what seemed like a great girl to be friends with. Zoose sure was happy to finally be social with people other than herself. Though, when she thought about it, it hurt her pride as an owner a little. She smiled despite that fact and stretched her hands upward into the air, before following after Bradley. May was enjoying the town a little more than she thought she would. Tilting her head, May started to wonder if she had been here before when she was little with her brother. Maybe her father had wanted to start a bank here in Corkstown? She thought before looking at Dem and Bradley. "A long time ago, was there a plan to build a large company bank here?" She asked out of her curiosity, and before she could even register the question in her mind. She hadn't even been able to think about what she was going to say before she had just up and blurted it out. Oh well. If there had been a Burnsworth Bank starting up here when she was little, that would explain why a few things seemed so familiar, and she didn't remember them because of what had happened a few years back.

._Kyler Summers_.

Kyle pouted a bit. "Harsh much?" He said a hint of sarcastic in his tone but he smiled it away, to show his joking manner. "Well, I like all types of music." He said simply and while he thought of what he should play, his fingers strummed a few chords. "Okay got it!" He said smiling triumphantly. He fixed his position in the chair, so he was comfortable holding the guitar while sitting. His fingers slid over each string without him even having to think about which notes to play. The intro was short, only about ten seconds long, so he was almost instantly singing along with his playing. "Well, can't you see that it's just rai-ning. There ain't no need to go outside..But baby, you hardly even notice, when I try to show you this-song was meant to keep ya from doing what you're supposed too..." This was one of the songs he knew that lightened up his mood. As he sand the words to Banana Pancakes, his mind was at ease. He personally looked up to Jack Johnson for his music. "...we can sleep in, I'll make you banana pancakes, pretend like it's the week-end now... And we can pretend it all the time, yeah.." Now, as Kyle played, he glanced up at DJ and smiled at her slightly while he continued with the song. He didn't know if she would know it or not, but he loved this song. Right now, his wish was to be a famous musician, but he was pretty satisfied with playing in front of DJ for some reason.

I recognize the song as he begins to play. I pick up the guitar beside me and wait for a place for me to jump in. "Can't you see that it's just rainin'. There ain't no need to go outside," I sang, jumping in where he left off. The next part of the song made me laugh everytime and I can never sing the entire part. "But just maybe, Hala ka ukulele." My voice was like a chameleon. It could go light and high for a song like Lights by Ellle Goulding or thick and low for soul music or something from Adele. I can like a song from any genre, it just depends on the song. Kyle also played well and I was quite surprised. He looked like the type of people that are being made famous today. He's cute so they make him famous by distorting his voice and making him sound good. This kid can really play, though.

._Kyler Summers_.

Kyle almost stopped playing when DJ jumped it. Almost. He picked his rhythm back up and kept singing. He immediately like DJ's voice. It was pretty, but sounded like it was very flexible according to what sound each individual song need. Her guitar playing wasn't that bad either. He liked her voice in all honesty, but he couldn't help but to want to test her. He continued with Banana Pancakes for a bit, and gradually faded into a different tune. He grinned at DJ, before jumping into the middle of the next song. Of course, his next choice had him change his tone of singing a bit. But he didn't mind and easily switched tones. "So when you found that we could not make since, well you said that we could still be friends. But I'll admit that I was glad it was over." He kept singing, happy that he chose Somebody that I used to know as his song choice. He wasn't too familiar with Gotye, but he did like this certain song of theirs. "I guess I don't need that though, now you're just somebody that I used to know... Now you're just somebody that I used to know....Now you're just somebody that I used to know." The next part was the female's, Kimbra's, part. It was short, but Kyle was curious to how DJ's voice would sound while she sang it. He played the chords, waiting for her part.

Kyle seamlessly transitions into a different song, this one was dfinitely different than Banana Pancakes. It takes me a few lines to realize that it was Somebody That I Used To Know by Goyte. By the smirk on his face I knew he was testing me now, Very well then. It reached Kimbra's part and and I raise my voice and let it float like it's on a cloud. "Now and then I think of when we were together," I sang with a wink. "Like when you said you felt so happy you could die." This song called for me to sit up straighter to get my manipulate my voice in such a way. I hated songs like these and when I do this tomy voice I usually lose it if I do it for too long. Say if I sang Lights over and over I would no longer have my voice. He didn't think I could do, but this is what I have practiced my entire life to do. Manipulate my voice. "Told myself that you were right for me, but felt so lonely in your company," I sang getting ready to finished my short part. "But that was love and it's an ache I still remember." I was sick of this song already and irritated that he chose it. The scowl on my face gave me away.

Kyle was tapping his foot on the bottom rod of the chair to the beat. He definitely liked her voice. It was beautiful how she hit the float-y, high sound pretty perfectly. He glanced up and saw the irritation written clearly on her face. He mouthed the words 'Sorry' and then mouthed 'Last Song' He smiled and then faded into another different set of chords. He sand the first few lines of Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade, and kept his playing steady when he jumped into the next lyrics. Once again, both the sound and the feeling of his voice and guitar playing changed. "I know you're wearing thin down to the core...but hold your breath, because tonight will be the night I will fall for you, over again- don't make me change my mind..." He glanced up at DJ and smiled a bit. He had many all-time-favorite songs and this was one of them. He enjoyed playing and singing with another person, being this was his first time performing with a girl beside family.

I was rolled my eyes as he mouthed his apologies and changed tunes. A smile begin to form on my lips and I let him sing the first few lines. Where he stopped to let me jump in, I didn't. I loved this song and I wanted him to keep singing it. I leaned forward and rested my chin in my palm. I bit my bottom lip and looked down at the floor as he played my favorite song. I hoped he wouldn't stop because I did. I looked back up and adjusted my glasses. Leaning back in my chair I grin from ear to ear and chuckle quietly.

Kyle smiled slightly and kept up his playing, he didn't fall behind in the tune so he picked his singing back up. DJ seemed like she didn't want him to stop, so he decided not to. He played his little solo, his voice sounded light but had emotion in it. He kept glancing to DJ, being that he could play without having to look at his fingers constantly. "This is not what I intended. I always swore to you, I'd never fall apart- You always thought that I was stronger-- I may have failed but I have loved you from the start, ohhh.. but hold your breath, because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over againn-- don't make me change my mind. Or I won't live to see another day, I swear it's true. Because a girl like you is impossible to find, it's impossible...." He had a split second to make his voice slightly more forceful. He did the same with his playing so the sound was more sudden and louder. "So breath in so deep, breath me in. I'm yours to keep, and hold on to your words, 'cause talk is cheap. And remember me tonight, when you're asleep." He played the few chords, making his voice considerably softer and lighter. He kept his eyes on DJ as he sang his last verse, the left corner of his mouth up in a half smile. "Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you over again, don't make me change my mind, or I won't live to see another day, I swear it's true. Because a girl like you is impossible to find." He made his playing, once again, more forceful as he repeated the chorus again. He sang the last sentence softly. "You're impossible to find." He stopped playing as the song ended. He looked at DJ with a grin now, and sat back, his arm resting on the body of the guitar. He was slightly out of breath, but he quickly caught it back as he was used to it. "Well, that was fun." He said, clearing his throat.
