Lance blushed. "Love me?" He didn't know what else to say. He smiled and chuckled. "I love you too, Desdemona." He laid his hand on her cheek.

"I'm sorry..." Desdemona sighed. She didn't know why she was sorry, but she felt like she should have never said anything. Lance was taking this rather well, though. Maybe things would be okay...

Kat wasn't really looking where she was going as she walked towards the beach. She was too busy fiddling with the components of her watch, which had just stopped again. She flicked it with a dirty, broken nail, but as expected, that did no good. She tapped it hopefully, but the small analog clock seemed intent on remaining immobile. "Come on." she mumbled unhappily, digging in her pocket for the Swiss army knife she always carried around.

Lance kissed Des softly. "Don't be sorry hun." He smiled.

Pearl landed on the beach in her dragon form where Midnight laid waiting for her.

Desdemona just nodded. She didn't know what to say. She hadn't expected him to love her in return. She took off her mask and kissed him.

Katarina felt the sudden gust of wind, but thought nothing of it. This island, she already knew, was quite a windy place. She didn't look up from her broken watch, in fact, until she collided with a muscular, wet, scaly mass. She fell backwards after bouncing off it, then looked calmly up at the dragon. "Well, hello there." she said, more than a little irritation apparent in her tone.

Lance kissed her back softly. "Babe.. What's wrong? Is something bothering you?"

Pearl looked at Kat startled. "Hello." She shifted back into her human form and smiled at her.

"No... I'm just surprised. Not many people like demons." Desdemona replied, smiling a little. In Hell, love hardly existed. Well, except for the third circle, but she'd never been there.
