Sijach thought for a moment, trying to navigate her way through the halls, they almost seemed to change over time. Maybe they did, new kids pulled pranks like that all the time. It was extremely annoying and disrespectful, but she guessed a lot of people were like that. "Don't get lost. Don't get into fights. Study hard. Don't bug anyone in power. Don't mess with anyone older than you. Don't bother people that aren't your friends." she said, she could go on for a while about what not to do. She had been lectured on it for hours by the Head. She hated the man, when she got her next chance, she'd be sure to stab him in the back. "Anything else you need to know?" she knew the head would be calling her away at any moment, and even though she didn't show it very well she liked talking to Sorrin. She would hate to leave.

"Someone who really hates this place?" Will suggested, he only understood half of what Jordan had said, he was to distracted by whatever Aurora was yelling about. No one yelled at the Master, the girl might be next to take the Blue Head but that didn't give her right to speak with him like that. Will was very tempted to walk in there and shut her up, but he decided it was best to find a reason first, so he remained patient, if things rose to violence he would be sure to do something. "Maybe it was her." he muttered, nodding towards the door.

Sorrin
Sorrin chuckles at Sijach's laundry list of what not to do in the tower. "Sounds a lot like the under dark... Just keep your head down and don't bother anyone and you'll live a bit longer." He follows her blindly through the corridors, reasonably lost but not really willing to pay enough attention to their surroundings to try and figure it out. He is much more interested in Sijach and her stories. "Not that I suspect anyone will be leaving anytime soon, with all those witch-hunters out there, but just how long is it before you graduate?.. Or whatever they call it. I mean, not everyone here is an apprentice and yet it doesn't seem like ANYONE ever leaves..." He asks, a bit distracted as they pass some sort of ceremonial sword mounted on the wall, encrusted with hundreds of tiny sapphires and emeralds. Oh... I could use a few of those! Good for guiltsbane and mushwash. I wonder if anyone would even notice they were missing? He muses, but doesn't stop. Better to come back later on his own as he is doubtful as to just how Sijach would take such a borderline criminal act.

Jordan
Jordan rolls his shoulders, feeling the tension of the day settling in as a painful knot in the center of his back. Aurora's voice can be heard muffled behind the Master's door, though luckily enough the words are indistinct and the nature of the argument stays unclear. At Will's inference of her involvement, Jordan only shakes his head. "I doubt it... She has too many other things on her mind. Though she may sound angry now, I don't think she would ever truly go against the Master." Her father... Jordan can only imagine the hurt she feels inside, yet part of him hopes they will be able to come to some sort of understanding. Reconciliation is the only thing that will ever soothe that wound, and the forgiveness will have to come from her heart.

{So sorry I forgot about this again. I'm out of school now though so I should be a lot more consistent... if anyone's still here.}

Sijach shrugged. She had never really understood graduating or anything like that. It didn't matter for her either way. She was stuck working for the head for as long as he decided to hold all this over her. He had her life in his hands and until he was willing to let her go she was stuck letting him control her. It wasn't something she enjoyed but it wasn't something she could avoid. At least she had enough free time to spend with people like Sorrin. he wasn't so bad, he was rather nice to be around, even if he was a white robe. She usually found them to be annoyingly prissy and perfectionist law abiding. She walked into the dinning room and up to the front table to grab some salad and steak. "Well... you graduate once you have passed 'the test' you can take it whenever you want though you are only allowed to every ten years... As for afterwards... you are allowed to become a teacher... most just take their freedom to travel to other towers... Our kind aren't well liked so we don't have anywhere much to go." she stated plainly, it was the simple truth. She found and table and took a seat, waiting for Sorrin to join her.

Will raised any eyebrow, he couldn't imagine why anyone would be that ma with the master. Sure his decisions didn't always agree with everyone else's, but that had to be understood to an extent and Will really doubted he had done something against Aurora. "Why is she so angry anyway?" you would have to do something really bad to get someone that mad, but then again it was Aurora they were talking about, the Master could have looked at her the wrong way and it would have caused her to flip out.

((Sijach, sorry for taking so long to get back to this! This has been a crazy month for me too and unfortunately this is one of the things that slipped through the cracks... Might I suggest a time-skip to freshen things up at some point?))

Sorrin
Following Sijach into the dining room, Sorrin can't help but look upwards at the great wooden beams crossing the celling. Wood was rare in the Dark, and he still hasn't quite gotten used to the great plants being strong enough to hold up half the tower. Oh, from the outside, the stone and mortar was a familiar comfort, yet it seemed as though the overlanders used wood as structure on the inside of even stone structures. Is it really so strong? I guess it is a lot lighter than stone though, so I can't really blame them. It would be difficult to build such a large open space with stone alone. There would have to be pillars and... His thoughts are cut off as he realizes Sijach is a fair distance ahead of him and has already grabbed a plate.

Hurrying to catch up with her, he too grabs a plate and fills it with whatever looks good. He's never been much of a picky eater, and all of this is fairly new anyways. He listens to her story as they walk over to the table, considering her words for a moment as he takes a seat. "I suppose that's true, isn't it? It seems like this tower is the end of the road... Filled with people who've got nowhere else to go." He answers sounding thoughtful, and pops a pice of meat in his mouth.

Jordan
JOrdan shakes his head to Will's question, and backs up to take a seat on a bench that is nestled in a nearby alcove. "Unfortunately, that is not for me to say at this time. Perhaps when they are ready it may become common knowledge, but not now." His voice sounds tired now, and he pulls his glasses off his face to clean them with the hem of his robe. What time is it anyway? It feels like it has been days since this morning... The memories of that incident send a shiver up his spine and he signs heavily. The last thing he wants to do is go back to his chambers, yet his weariness is getting the better of him.
