Letting out a lazy yawn, a well sized tomcat stretched out. Standing up, wobbling slightly, the tomcat made his way across the shed roof he was sleeping on. Jumping down with ease onto the fence, the tomcat trotted along with his head up.
Hearing a dog growl and bark at him, the tomcat sat down above the dog and proceeded to wash himself. Smirking down at the dog before turning and leaping off of the fence onto the other side, the tomcat settled himself on the porch where the dog lived. Letting out a pathetic mewl once, twice, three times the tomcat waited for his breakfast to come out.
The porch door opened up and a little human girl – no older than six – came out with a bowl of milk. Letting the little girl pet his head and call him a ‘good kitty’ the tomcat lapped down the warm milk. Keeping one eye on the dog growling at him and the other on the little human girl, the tomcat licked his lips and whiskers making sure to get every drop.
“Kitty want more?” the little human cooed at him. She disappeared into the house only to come out with yet another, smaller, bowl of warm milk and a plate. Sniffing the air trying to figure out what she had, the tomcat nearly pounced the girl. On the plate was cut up pieces of her supper from last night: fish.
Scarfing down the fish, the tomcat licked the little girl’s hand before taking off. With his head held high, the tomcat smirked to himself.
Ah, it’s good to be me… { I hope you don't mind me starting... }
