Zen heard the howl of a wolf. He shuddered and didn't return the howl.
Shakira walked over to Ebony."Hey." She said cheerfully.

Swift raised her head and looked at Ebony with warm eyes and nuzzled him, " do you think we're going to wander? the pack is thriving, and we have a while till spring, i've never really been this close to anyone Ebony" Swift said in a soft , loving voice as she gestured towards the valley below.

"Help we are here we are here" Willlow howled she was starving and so was her pack they must get help.

Swift stood up and looked out around the valley, she padded to Ebony, "Ebony, do you think that is another pack?" she said in a questioning voice.

Nyx howled a wistful howl standing on a tall rock. She noticed the wolf pack nearby. She was a wolf loner. Her howl echoed on the winds. Her crystal green eyes glittered. Her silky white fur blended in the breezing snow.
Cold Stone heard a long howl far off. Sounds like a wolf, he thought. He lifted his white head and howled back. Nyx's howl and Cold Stone's howl bounced along the skies.

Ebony smiled and nudged her. "Neither have I." He flicked his ears. "I am not sure, but one sounds slightly wolf. We should check it out. I will lead a patrol." He grinned again, exposing his dagger sharp teeth.

Zen and Ruth walked over to Willow and sat by her, they both howled, hoping someone would hear them. They were starving and didn't even know what there was to hunt.
Shakira lifted her head at the sound of howls."Other wolves..?" Shakira said, confused. "Wait a minute..Huskies..?" Shakira asked.

Willow was tiered of waiting she jumped against the rope it started biting into her drawing blood all the time she was howling she heard them why would they not come. Her pack was behind her looking on with scared eyes. This furry they had never seen before.

"I should check it out myself." Nyx said to herself in her soft, beautiful voice. Nyx lifted her head again. The snow clouds where swirling around, ready to pour down snow any moment. She stopped and ran swiftly to the direction of the huskys. Cold Stone howled again, but the wolf didn't respond. He sighed and thought of Master. Is he okay? He thought.

Ruth let out a piercing howl. There was no possible way no body within a few miles couldn't hear it.
Zen mimicked Willow. He leaped forward yanking on his chain. His collar had frozen to his neck, and it hurt bad. "Dum collar.." He grumbled as he yanked at his chain.
Ruth sat down and watched Willow and Zen yank at their chains.
Shakira ran over to Ebony and Swift."What should we do?" She asked.
Ruth looked back at Cold Stone.
